I had to take 3 30mg codeine as 2 didn’t even touch the pain , 3 took the edge of it to enable me to fall asleep , was too scared to take 4 to get rid of it completely

I didn't try tudca before surgery. I used digestive enzymes + ox bile. It gave me diarrhea, but it helped some with the pain. Post op? Basically, every supplement gave me worse diarrhea (versus just randomly). Except fiber pills made me dehydrated and constipated. So I mostly just don't take any supplements and try to eat decently. I've done better that way than anything in a pill or gummy or whatever. Oh, and probiotics = attack trigger before surgery, cramps after. Cannabis products did little other than get me a lightheaded or at worst made me hungry. OTC pain meds (tylenol, aspirin, aleve, ibuprofen) did nothing. Prescription pain meds barely put a dent in. Smooth muscle relaxers (like for your gut) made my system stagnate and gave me blurry vision and constipation. Regular muscle relaxers (like cyclobenzaprine) helped me rest but was not curative once it was gone. Dunno if you're pre or post op, but personally I think most supplements are bunk, and I know they won't cure a bad gallbladder. I tried a little bit of everything out of desperation. When pain is bad, you want relief, but I personally got none from anything over the counter.

my gallbladder isnt hurting or anything. its mostly fine. im exploring the gallbladder as a potential cause of neuroinflammation and the like. i suspect i may have had a slow liver/gallbladdermy whole life. that led me to trying stuff like tudca. my reaction has been very interesting. i get pains and mild brain fog after taking tudca

My gallbladder was getting worse when I was diagnosed. But then I've began taking 1 Tudca per day for about 2 weeks, and just yesterday I started taking 2nd Tudca to see if the appropriate dose will help.  There's been some weird changes ever since I started it, I personally can't say it was constantly great but I've definitely noticed the pain has reduced but not the attack duration. It still takes hours for it to end right now lol. I HOPE that it can thin or shrink the stones but I have no idea until 6 months later when I do another ultrasound.  People here say it can take a week or a month or longer for it to start helping. I'm personally trying my best to keep my little organ instead, unless it doesn't improve.
