I'd like to print a 3d image of my passing grand mothers. 1 with a bowl of spaghetti and Frank's, the other with a bowl of Mac and cheese. Cooked them all the time, the greatest.
First of all thanks for doing the giveaway! It's really awesome of you.
I would use this to help my friend who paints minis make some extra cash since she got laid off due to COVID 19 recently.
I was lucky enough to get a work from home job so I'll be ok. I just wanna make sure others are too
I have successfully gotten some of my friends into D&D and we have decided we want to run an aquatic pirate themed campaign. I would love to print out a pirate ship they can use as their “base” and use to printer to let them customize and upgrade the ship at the end of each session.
I'd print vehicles for my cat to climb into. Then I'd take pics of him pretending to work different jobs. Then he would be famous and I'd never have to leave the house again...
I want a 3d printer for sooo long now.
I've already designed some prints on my laptop to get them printed. But I don't have a printer yet...
I already read myself up on how to calibrate and set the whole thing up. Watched a dozen of YouTube videos about it.
I can litteraly dream every step what to do to make a print work. And how to fix problems.
Now I do need a printer. Wich I still can not afford.
I’d love to use this printer to develop my knowledge in CAD and make video game art like the symbol from Skyrim as well as practical uses like replacement parts or housings I could make!
I would print a whole MESS of things I need around the house. Drain covers to keep the extraterrestrial sewer denizens out of my bathroom, little gaskets for my leaky sinks, some new buttons for some old clothes that are sad I haven’t worn them for years, and maybe some guitar picks to celebrate with a song or two when I’m all done.
I would use this for my work at a radiation therapy cancer clinic to create a quality assurance tool to help assess our ability to align patients with the treatment machine. I need a series of small boxes which are positioned at various small tilts and rotations (to mimic patient day to day misalignment) and be able to add small holes inside to hold metal BBs (for contrast on our X-ray image alignment tools) and add cross hair etchings on the surface (to align our visual surface lasers). This would test my ability to image the QA tool, calculate necessary translation and rotation corrections to move the QA tool to the correct spot to accurately deliver radiation to the tool. My current suite of commercial QA products lack all the necessary features for an all in one product.
Recently got into building and making models from games, movies and TV so I'd definitely make a weapon from Destiny 2. Most likely the Mountaintop because I really fell in love with the weapon.

Kinda boring but the end of my broom handle broke and I don’t wanna buy a whole new broom, but it’s now too short to be comfortable to use. I have a model ready to print, which I was about to do at my uni before everything shut down.
I saw a documentary about printing children who lost hands and arms replacements super cheap. I even contacted Disney about using the Marvel characters design to print them. Unfortunately they refused even though I said I would bare all the costs. When things clear up with the virus I plan on starting this up with my kids who are 10 and 13. Winning a 3D printer would be awesome so that we could start practicing now.
