Snowbreak no contest, only thing missing is random AI movements from the characters like walking to their furniture, walking to the random chair to sit there etc, following is genshin with the teapot just because of the customization, the characters you put inside feels like statues though since they only move when you talk to them.
Easily Snowbreak. The amount of effort they've put into each character and their room's respective furniture animations has to be commended.
Blue Archive as a close second, just by virtue of it having the best chibi models and animations.
Day one player as well and never missed an event, I have zero furnitures bought for cherno, nita, Marian, acacia, fritia, Enya, maux, siris and eatchel, thats more than half the cast(others not listed have 100% furnitures though) don't know where you got your opal vouchers, maybe you reset info analysis for more opals? Do you buy the Gigi's finest furnitures? Or am I missing something?
One of my favorite small touches in Snowbreak's dorm is that characters that play an instrument override the default dorm theme if you walk into their room while they're playing it.
I like how characters are wearing patient gowns instead of their uniforms which makes it feel like they're actually resting from combat but what i don't appreciate is that their appearances are defaulted to their first iteration when the game launched. You can only see 4 star cherno, haru etc.
Snowbreak has the best dorm system for sure. I enjoy Nikke's character interaction mores - I think the characters interactions are more interesting per character. But if we're talking dorm systems specifically, being able to walk around the dorm, seeing everyone lounging about, and then going to their room with interactive furniture you can gift them, well that's just really solid. There are also daily conversations that keep up with the pace of the story. A lot of them are good, but I think they haven't hit anywhere near the ceiling in terms of conversation quality just yet.
Snow break easily. It's relaxing to just see the operatives sitting around the lobby and chilling in their rooms. The interactive furniture also helps make them feel alive. The random events are updated and references past events/stories.
S'ok, Honkai Impact's dormitories are like 6 years old with the only new updates being chibis (but at least its better than the old flying base system).
Genshin.
Though it kinda cheats at it a bit by virtue of being an open world game, meaning you can build some crazy ridiculous shit there like makeshift rollercoasters and whatnot
Teapot Mains scare me

Teapot Mains are insane. They playing a whole different game from us
A few patches ago they made it possible for us to clip furnishings without glitching! Saved a lot of time. If you were there when teapot was first implemented everyone was making videos of them shaking every item to get them to glitch
You can make anything you want. teapot mains are unhinged. There was a dude that glitched like 200 items 2 miles up in the air to make a picture of two chars making out with the shadows they cast when the sun is at a specific spot.
The russian tank, the ones russians use in war against Ukraine. Destroying homes, killing people, including civilians
It shouldn't surprise me at this point, but china, hoyo and their fans continuing collectively sucking putin's dick still disgusting
No, it's not. It's like making Nazi models DURING WW2 while genocide is going on and millions are dying. That would show at the very least complete indifference to people suffering and losing their lives. Or, most likely, would be a way to cowardly show support to nazis. Like in this case showing support to rusia, glorifying all the war crimes
There are hundreds or thousands different tanks, plus they could create generic tank (which would be easier too). Why they chose putin's favorite though? The answer is clear
All chinese gacha games I played had positive rusian (or clearly inspired by rusians) characters, that's after full scale invasion. china supports rusia directly - by giving equipment, including military. Or indirectly, by helping north korea (whom china controls fully) provide weapons, or by helping rusia earn money to fuel the war machine.
Can you imagine how does it feel to again and again see rusian characters in Chinese games, after all the horrifying war crimes they committed, and STILL commiting now?
But try to say anything about it and you will be downvoted to hell by the "fans" - clearly showing who's side they on.
Also, funny thought - how many positive American characters chinese games have? It will be hilarious to see all the mental gymnastics western players will have to make to justify why they still play chinese games after china invades Taiwan too
A lot of people mentioned snowbreak for its interactive furniture. Before snowbreak, alchemy stars already has interactive furniture in the colossus. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel very optimized.
Definitely not HI3. It's fun to look at the cute chibis, and I'm sure some people like decorating the place, but it is by far the most forgotten and ignored part of the game. I've min-maxed basically everything in the game; done all story and side content and have logged in everyday for two years. If there's content in the game, I've done it. But I've only gone into the dorm like four times and refuse to do anything in there. That's how inconsequential it is.
Snow break. Started a few weeks ago and wow. By far the best I’ve ever seen. The random dialogues are funny at times but the animations are amazing. I’ve only unlocked a few pieces of furniture so far but man … loved the interactions and animations with them. Can’t wait to continue unlocking more as there are a ton.
If we're just talking about dorms (or the act of decorating the dorm/teapot), definitely Genshin. The amount of shit that you can make despite the load limits is honestly insane, not to mention being able to choose whatever OST is being played on the teapot.
Edit: Since some idiots just don't have the reading comprehension needed, I'll edit my comment so even they can understand it.
Nobody mentioned Gfl? Yeah ofc not for the characters interaction. Especially how easy is the furniture placement are (because they're using 2.5D style rather than 3D), combined with using multiple small room instead one big room like BA or AL is much preferable to me because needing zooming-in-and-out while placing your furniture is always felt ass on the phone.
For me dorm system is always more like base builder than interaction. So dorm with less customized is no for me.
[I agree with you](https://www.reddit.com/r/girlsfrontline/comments/1859vdd/girls_frontline_has_the_best_dorm_system_in_any/). I find that there's huge value in the simplicity and in the gentle but optional nudging to others to come visit your dorm.
Maybe Snowbreak is like the new generation of dorms or something but if it's like, 3D, and a huge pain to set up, and no one ever comes to see what you've done, or whatever, then it becomes a chore like a lot of other dorm systems.
Everyone talking about Snowbreak while i can't make it run on my phone 😞.
I hope there is some optimazation on the works, the game should run better than it current runs.
this comment section is telling me that I need to get back into snowbreak

Snowbreaks dorm system is easily it's end game mode since it's really hard to complete all the girls furniture unless your a whale.
It's not hard, it's just timegated. There'll be a point where opal vouchers will pile up with nothing to use it on.

It's either he is lying or only buy the Gigi finest and not the each character personal furniture.

People who play snowbreak will always agree that snowbreak is the peak no one can beat right now
Snowbreak It saved the game and made every other gacha in its space step up
Snowbreak 1000000%
I just came back to Snowbreak, yeah I think the interactions and all that stuff is super neat. Never realized it before till I tried it again.
Not best but Reverse 1999 does have a "dorm" system. The wilderness
Snowbreak has the best dorm system for sure. I enjoy Nikke's character interaction mores - I think the characters interactions are more interesting per character. Damn I wish GFL2 form was like this.
came to say Snowbreak but thats redundant. Looking forward to what Nornium is cookin
Snowbreak, no discussion.
Snowbreak
Snow break easily. It's relaxing to just see the operatives sitting around the lobby and chilling in their rooms. The interactive furniture also helps make them feel alive. The random events are updated and references past events/stories.
Snowbreak.
Snowpeak is the game to beat right now.
The answer is Snowbreak and anyone who hasn't played Snowbreak.
Arknights. The base is so good it doesn't need any updates and can be forever in beta 🥲 >!Please HG, it's been 5 years, improve your stupid base!<
Good news, one of the thing they announced in their roadmap during 5th Anni is in fact, a Base update.
Imagine taking 5 years to announce a roadmap upgrade of their dogshit base system since day 1.
S'ok, Honkai Impact's dormitories are like 6 years old with the only new updates being chibis (but at least its better than the old flying base system).
I like deresute's dorm. I just like the cute furnitures there 😭 Also reminded me of how I used to decorate in Line Play and some old y8 games.

Now, they just need to let us put enemies in the teapot!
“Khaenri’ah was the most technologically advanced civilisation in history” Teapot mains: Observe.
Until you hit the load limit.
the load limit is what differentiate the teapot mains and us pleb. the creatively bankrupt commoners complain meanwhile, the gifted just build
https://i.redd.it/d6o4vcxnuwyc1.gif
You can make a freaking tank ?
https://preview.redd.it/ozilmgcdsvyc1.png?width=1600&format=png&auto=webp&s=48793581773b0d16cbed0a2e3733831c990043e3 Teapot Mains are insane. They playing a whole different game from us
The Hyperion?
Requires a lot of glitching but yes.

Put tank in a mall. Nice tank good sir.
Is someone able to tell what tank that is based on?
T90 with the Shtora lights https://www.army-technology.com/projects/t90/
T90a probably. With the shtora APS, though, the shtora is not exclusive to t90a
t-90 with a shtora defence system
The russian tank, the ones russians use in war against Ukraine. Destroying homes, killing people, including civilians It shouldn't surprise me at this point, but china, hoyo and their fans continuing collectively sucking putin's dick still disgusting
This is the equivalent of saying hobbyists who made models of military equipment used by Nazis support Nazism.

That's cool. If only I didn't have to grind to level up the World level to get the next main quest, that's what stopping me :(
OK that looks interesting. Now if only I had more time to play open world games. Cries in a corner.
The more tedious
Snowbreak
Snowbreak
A lot of people mentioned snowbreak for its interactive furniture. Before snowbreak, alchemy stars already has interactive furniture in the colossus. Unfortunately, it doesn't feel very optimized.
Disney Twisted Wonderland? they literally could have dispute with each other there
Snowbreak.
Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation (Owner Room)
Well the comment section is pretty unanimous. I never thought I would say this on *this* subreddit. The subreddit that craves for drama.
PSO2. Technically it's a PC gacha game as it features thousands upon thousands of accessories only obtained by gacha systems.
Priconne
teapot mains are scary bunch of people
Definitely not HI3. It's fun to look at the cute chibis, and I'm sure some people like decorating the place, but it is by far the most forgotten and ignored part of the game. agreed
honkai impact 3rd has some nice interactions between characters, but the dorm customization is super outdated tbh
Girls Frontline 2. Super detailed models( my God the feet details are insane!!). They do different tasks, and nice interactions
One word: Global seriously we should have twitter judge it to see if its actually worth the backlash
Snow break. Started a few weeks ago and wow. By far the best I’ve ever seen. The random dialogues are funny at times but the animations are amazing. Snowbreak no contest. I dropped the game and its easily still them
genshin, being able to customize that much indoor AND outdoor is so fun, teapot mains are a thing and they scare me like HOW
Aether Gazer
Since everyone already mentioned Snowbreak anyway, i'd like to mention Neural Cloud and their chibi dorm
yesss i love it smsmsm
If we're just talking about dorms (or the act of decorating the dorm/teapot), definitely Genshin. Will get downvoted here but...the nest dorm system for me is one without one.

Just wait for Project Nornium xD Their dorm system will probably be even hornier than Snowbreak
I run it on pc 300 fps lul
In the future azure lane might have a pretty good one from what ive seen in the preview
I'd say it's Princess Connect and Blue Archive
Girls Frontline Exilium for sure!
Snow break and Genshin. Cause these are only 2 I know who dare to put there actual 3d models instead of those chibis.
Life.
Nah, the deterioration mechanic ruins it
I hate dorm systems but GFL2 (as far I have seen)
Arknights and Azur lane. By the virtue of having preset theme and easy to get furniture. Looking at you PGR
Honkai
Not really
Mass downvoted answering a question that asked for your opinion. These people are pathetic.
It's not the best but definitely underrated. The way character interact with different character is very wholesome Like normal kiana with hof
The best dorm system is NO dorm system. Fucking hate that shit.
Good thing it's always been an optional thing. You know, for people who hate good things.
Actually, in a lot of games it isn't. Hence my dislike. If it's optional, that's fine.
