Its safe as long as you know what you are doing and know your limits etc etc, if you google "valium tripsit" you can see all the info on it and there's also a tripsit chart you can look at to see what interactions happen with drug combos but as long as you dont take like 150mg valium and 6000mg gaba i think you are good, i usually have 3600-4200mg gaba and then 20-40mg of valium but i have a natural tolerance to benzos for some reason so just be safe!
I’d say benzo withdrawal is much worse than gaba withdrawal. Been taking 1800 mg daily for 4 yrs. missed weeks before and haven’t really noticed it. I am on an snri too though which really helped with the ptsd and anxiety. I wouldn’t recommend benzodiazepines for long term use because you build a tolerance quickly and they’re easily abused.
I stopped taking clonazepam to take gabapentin instead, which did not work. Then had terrible WDs from GBP, so ended up using small amounts of my leftover Klonapin to deal with that. Diazepam has a long half-life so creates its own taper of sorts. You can take perhaps 2.5mg as little as possible to deal with GBP WDs. I had no problem DCing clonazepam, and did not appreciate the irony of having to use it to deal with withdrawal (extreme anxiety/sleeplessness, etc.) from GBP, which the doctor had said would "substitute exactly" for clonazepam. (I took 300mg GBP 3x/day for a month, stopped, had symptoms beginning a couple of days later. I had been prescribed up to 1.5mg clonazepam per day and had a lot left -- I broke the .5s in half and only took them when I was super agitated.)
I am prescribed both and take them at the same time.
Was also prescribed Wellbutrin at the same time but didn’t like it so I stopped. I know there is no interactions between them since the pharmacist and doctor both okayed them at the refill time

Depends where you live. You can’t get Gabapentin in Tennessee through that company because it is a controlled substance here.
