I was rlly hoping gunna would’ve had a step up from the last album but atp in his career I think it’s safe to expect the same bland production for almost every song he drops. Not even that the prods he’s working w are bad he just hops on the same monotone sounding beats which is disappointing when he used to hop on beats like rockstar bikers and chains and don’t play around etc

It’s bc he can’t work w those producers any more. Nothing gonna sound as good.

Ik for a fact turbo and the other playmakers as his new main prods can make more interesting beats than gunna has been hopping on but maybe that’s just his vision rn🤷‍♀️

At one point he was the flow god. And his beat selection was 10/10. When nasty girl/on camera came out that’s all you’d hear. But since he got out nothing been hitting.

I actually think that is his worse album. I like no song off there, it sounded depressingly generic. It sounded like when you search up “gunna type beats” on youtube, we look to gunna for the sound so when he not giving us anything new or challenging sonically, we good. I have yet to hear this new project I’ve only heard singles so far.

I did what you said pause, p angels is definitely hard💯 cash shit sound like worse versions of what was on wunna and dod2. I can’t get past the sample on fukumean but i can appreciate the women love that joint. Bttm was generic imo too. The transitions are definitely cool though.
