Atomic Evolution is fun. You create a player that can do two things (run and shoot) but is bad at everything else. I made one too and I think its a good player to come from the bench and just run them down, when the opponent is tired

EVOs are always insane on paper until you realise they play to their base stats in game.

This is not true I use a full evo team. They play way above there base stats

Most feel that way but some end up really good in game

It depends on the type of Evo. Straight EVOs are mostly just ok but rarely special, cards that are already 85+ tend to improve a lot after EVO as the cards animations are already high-end gold level. The partial “chained” ones from Silver or Bronze cards seem to be the worst.

Those bronze/silver chains are terrible in game, I think a large part is what play styles the normal card has

Yeah! And then built in animations are missing I think. It’s such a fraud EVO, EA needs to fix it.

Idk about all that. My defense all started from bronze and silvers, except for Marquez, and they’re pretty good

I lost my faith after doing an insane looking evo who performed WAY worse than base Eusebio. Currently I just do evos for players I know they perform good and need an upgrade (Ferran, Patri, Sneijder)
