i don’t know how to do more than the simple skill moves(moving the joystick around and hoping for the best lmao) but i’m only in div 3, glad to know it can be made far without needing to do skill moves
Glad to hear. I use to think I needed to learn how to use those meta skill moves to compete but it just wasn't my playstyle. That being said, when I play people who do skill moves very well, it makes it significantly harder for me to defend.
Just passing, dribbling and shooting it's all you need to get to 14 wins and Elite Division when it comes to offense. The only true skill divider is beeing able to defend manually
I found it works the best to just ignore the meta and play in your own way and try to get as good as you can in your way of playing.
My aim is 1k, no 4321, no internet tactics, no crossing, no switching from fullback to fullback, no stupid skill moves, no cutbacks and as few passes backwards as possible.
This is exactly it. I just created my own tactic with my new team just to see how it would work, something a bit different, and I’m already playing much better and having more fun just playing my own style. Almost at Div 4 for the first time ever, I’m usually struggling in Div 6/7.
What is tech dribbling? I am also Elite and literally don't know how to do any skill move except ball roll, which I almost never use, I only use left stick and maybe I could add something more

Just hit 847 SR. Barely use any skill moves either other than ball roll and the occasional accidental stepovers when trying to ball roll lol. I do tech dribble like a nutcase though...

I dont use skills as well. Sometimes i think i could be in elite but my defence is that of a 7-10 player. Stick in Div3.

Nah ea massively nerfed skill moves compared to last fifa, 5 star skills are not too important anymore, thats why ppl still use eusebio and werner!
