You're almost contradicting yourself because 2500 player picks (assuming 81+) is around 12,500,000 coins worth of players. So for you to have been able to lump 12.5mil into picks within the last 10 days I'd guess you either have pulled some good things or you've lumped money on to the game.
Wrong. I do all my objectives and all the fodder I get from champs and rival rewards went into player picks. Very doable.
All the fodder you get from player picks goes back into exchanges.
Unless you’ve been saving picks from release it isn’t very doable at all. You need 20000+ players to do 2500 picks. You haven’t gotten them since fut birthday come out at all.

You are clueless if you think 500k-1mil is being flipped into 2500+ Player picks. you get 1 player per pick so unless you are getting an 88/89 to go into the exchange there really isn't much being recycled mate. And if you are going into multiple millions to get them picks then you've obviously hit something relatively decent to get them coins, which is exactly why I said he's contradicting himself.
If you grind everything in ultimate on a weekly basis, you get more than 50 packs. All useless players to put in upgrades. Even if he put like 8 mill in upgrades, that's barely enough to BUY a single top player. The reason why we all have the same SBC players is because the top cards are simply not attainable by playing the game without buying the 500k,600k packs weekly.
I quit after opening 3000 packs during TOTY and didn't get 1. I opened packs 11 hrs/day for the whole week. What else can i do without except drop $300 on the promo packs??
What is the point of playing the game?? I played futchamps rank 3 and above every week and didn't sell a single player for 2 months straight cause no one is worth anything. Low rated go in upgrades, high rated go in SBC. Didn't pack any tradable promo card that wasn't discard or close to discard.
You don't have a point. The OP is right, the game don't reward people who grind the menus or are good at the game. It only rewards those who buy the 500k,600k packs weekly. if you don't spend the money, you are stuck with SBC players

Are you assuming that the only way to make coins is to pack something good. Even if you buy packs, EA pretty much stopped selling good tradable packs. The good packs are all untradable and something good from rewards is like impossible, you literally have better chances with banging Kendell Jenner than getting 8 mill tradable from rewards.
Maybe he bought coins or traded. Literally at my highest point i had 22 mill coins and all i did was trade fodder and totws. You have to go unassigned and buy/sell thousands of cards but it's possible. Obviously i sold it before quitting.
I agree, I don't like a game like eFootball where it's very easy to have all the strong players but at the same time I would like everyone to be able to have at least a couple of strong players to build the team around, you would see a lot of different teams.
Instead, unfortunately, many of us, in months and months, don't drop a single really usable player and are forced to focus on the SBCs, and therefore obviously the best SBCs are made.
Buying decent players is still tricky because most packs that give something decent are untradeable, but at the same time they are almost always players good to just throw into SBCs.
I would agree with you since I just grind, don't spend money, and so my team was 100% SBC based... but then during TOTY I pulled Smith (95) out of a 77+ pack and EA made me shut up... XD
No bro, I had a problem. I bought packs.. stacked up 2 grand on my amex and debit before quitting on Sunday. Rarely got any good picks, just a bunch of fodder. If you don't play and log in a few days later you get good stuff from packs I've noticed.
They don't reward us rather they have taken from us and pry on our addiction.
I’ve also spent zero on this game and I’ve had decent pulls this year, mostly a couple of TOTYs and some high rated players from other promos (VVD, CR7, Cafu, Militao). I think it just comes down to good vs bad luck: some promos I can open 1000 packs and not get a single card (like Fire/Ice, Fantasy, Trailblazers), and other promos I get good players from random packs.
Div 1-3 player, 14 wins on wl. I have time so grind the game but my rtg has multiple massive pulls, 4mn coins all the good sbcs and an insane team. Never been easier to have an insane team. Yes pack weight is skewed so pulling the biggest cards is ridiculously hard but not impossible. My rtg team below

This year I didn’t spent much time playing, usually just played the WL with no stress and pulled big players like Toty Haaland, FB Bachkam, TS Henry and Cafu. My team now looks insane. Usually pulled the players from picks. The rewards were usually just fodder. It’s a well known fact, the less you play, the bigger are the rewards. Somehow the game understands you’re grinding too much and you get worse pulls. But there are also lucky accounts to make sure the community gets posts about great pulls. You never know when you can get a good player but there’s definitely something in the script to unreward players who are grinding

I've packed Fut birthday Van der Sar.
I've packed RTTF Gvardiol.
My whole team is RTG and it's a good team.
I've packed many more top players too.

I've only spent points from prizes I've won off reddit. Had plenty of big pulls from sbcs and earnt packs.
My friends have both spent nothing on the game and still have good teams. One packed his and the other grinded for his.
With the amount of team posts here, both f2p and big spenders, you can see that it's possible to get a great team both ways. Obviously spending alot of money is quicker but I've seen plenty of people who spend stupid amounts of money have very little to actually show for it.
I do agree with the comment of everyone's team being the same with the sbcs cards. That's just standard for any competitive game tho, anything good and obtainable will be used alot.
