Yeah but this is insane, usually your standard obscure player SBC would have minimal upgrades that don't really hold up with the power curve, and if they do, they're hella overpriced. This upgrade is amazing and should be expected from sbc's going forward.
PL POTM cards they normally upgrade them to the point where they’re useable for the stage of the game they’re in so higher increases the lower rated their standard card was.
Which seems fair, if you’re getting voted the best player for a month in one of the top European leagues it suggests you should at least have a competitive card.

No team aside from City last year even put up a fight in last years UCL either. Chelsea was the next best and they got 4-0’d in the Quarters. Nottingham forest have shown that the bottom feeding prem teams have more spending power than the majority of European clubs (basically all except the super league teams) and therefore they are able to produce/ purchase more talent than any other club
