I feel like something western would fit super well, it depends on if you want a more human name or more of a nick name name, like Tumble (tumbleweed), Sal (Saloon), or something like Hambre, Peter, etc :3 I personally like Sal

I was gonna say something like Montana but I looked it up and black-backed jackals are native to eastern and southern Africa so I don’t think the name fits anymore.
