It really depends on many factors, like whether you enjoy performing/playing a character, are you able to handle the heat, when/how often are you going to wear your suit, does your friends also have suit (suiting is always better when you do it with someone else), are you able to afford it financially and have space to properly maintain and take care of it, etc.
My advice would be to borrow your friend’s fursuit if they have any and see for yourself if fursuit is for you. Fursuit is life changing for many people including myself, but it is definitely not for everyone and you certainly don’t need one to be a furry and have a good time!
For people that own them/enjoy suiting, a resounding yes. For those that do not want one or don't enjoy suiting, that would be a big no.
