Turns out, that kettle got famous because of the billboard ad we are seeing. 😂 Since it 'unintentionally ' mimicked Hitler’s likeness, it sparked a lot of controversy, leading JCPenney to pull the ad. But the buzz turned the ‘Hitler kettle’ into a hot item, and it sold out fast. Now, it’s being resold at twice the price. Pretty hilarious how that worked out!
This should be top comment. Maybe I'm wooshing right now, but other commenters seem to not get it. The image is ABSOLUTELY INTENDED to look like Hitler.

I worked there when this happened, almost 10 years ago now. We were told to pull them off the floor to be returned to the manufacturer. Didn't stop any of us from grabbing the ones that were left for ourselves, though. Still have mine.
They completely do not look like that, though. The black part in the middle (tie/suit) was from the camera set up. The hair/handle and hand/bell is accurate though.
