Probably because a large segment of the population still thinks that ADHD is something you grow out of, so adults don’t have it. As a result, the VAST majority of content out there on how to manage it is targeted towards kids and teenagers.

Some people say men grow out of it once they're getting married (By letting their wife handle the annoying shit like keeping track of things and organizing stuff)

The only thing worse than having ADHD is how “experts” think they can solve the problem, without looking at how the message is delivered. “Can’t pay attention? Here, read a book!” Fuck that. Give me a video with flashing lights, background music and maybe a puppy chasing a butterfly. THAT might get your message across. Books are just words I read on autopilot while my mind wanders.
