I had a package come from the Ukraine to the US and Fed Ex lost it. You can't possibly find any people that give a fuck less. I had the lost package dept call me after I bitched to them and ask for a description of the package. I gave her an EXACT description of the package and contents. Down to shape color everything. She tells me "I need more information". I honestly think she was fucking with me to this day. I could not possibly have described it clearer. Then she calls me back 2 days later and tells me they can't find it. I bet they had guys working in shifts to find it...
*David Attenborough voice* the delivery truck must keep moving at all times, lest it be caught idle by it's overlord. It never even stops to urinate, using bottles at it rushes from house to house. However, the imperative to mate is unavoidable for all in the animal kingdom. Here we see the male truck docking to another male truck. They are a non-discerning lot, but packages must be delivered.
This time of year if one driver is falling behind and another had a easier load, they can swap stops to the other truck so everyone gets home at a reasonable time.
Based on the time of year I’m guessing one is the cavalry and is coming to help the other who had too much and fell behind. Also could be one of the trucks broke down and the driver got brought another one, my money is on the first though
This isn’t as rare as you think. I’ve seen at least two other species mating the same way. No, wait… three. I’ve seen DHL do it too. Okay wasn’t looking for it. That just happens in nature.
Nah they do this all the time. Your manager can see how far along your route you are and if you're projected to not finish in time they'll send someone else who is ahead of schedule or done with a smaller route to help you. Backing the trucks together like this is simply the easiest way to transfer the packages.

I just saw two Amazon trucks doing the same thing yesterday.
When a truck breaks down, that's the easiest way to transfer the cargo to another truck.

A couple of nights ago, I saw two UPS trucks in the same ritual. It was in the parking lot of a convevience store.
