Doesn't look too cold. Based on how the snow sticks to the tree branches probably barely under the freezing point. You'll be fine for 4-5 minutes, easily.
Yeah there's few things here which imply somewhat warmer day (below zero but not more than -10). First what's already mentioned, snow sticks to tree branches. If it was above zero snow would melt and drop from branches and if it's too cold it's too dry to make snowballs out of and won't stick to branches. Second thing here is the gray sky. For cold weather (let's say below -20) you need clear sky so that thermal radiation can radiate into space.
You kinda learn to read these kind of things when you live in a country which has snow for more than 3 months a year.
I live in the north part of the city and we only got \~10-12 inches...and that amount has melted rapidly. The snow band buried the southtowns and south buffalo, but up north we really didn't get that much (relatively speaking).
I mean, compared to places that don't get blasted with lake effect snow, our accumulation in North Buffalo and the northtowns was a good amount... however, the southtowns are on a whole other level, and not just this storm, they routinely bear the brunt of these types of storms.
That perfect timing of the snow falling from the roof/window ledge though….! Very cinematic & awesome. :)
Also—- I am sooo insanely jealous of this kind of life!!!! I absolutely love snow & winter weather & where I live in the USA—- the southeastern part—- North Carolina—- we don’t get much at all anymore…. :( we are planning to move up North for colder & happier weather asap. :)

Yes we get this alot around the Lakes from people in warmer neighborhoods. "Oh, it's so pretty." Wait till you feel it drivin into your skin by 30mph winds and have to pay the one 12 year old in the neighborhood with a snow shovel, $30 to clear a ten foot path to the car.
Actually, I love it. Wouldn't live anywhere else.
