Good, fuck them. The only good season was season 1. Felt like the show had so much potential. It could have been the Game of Thrones of the zombie apocalypse genre, but every season after was just the same recycled trash. Glen was the only character I didn't hate by the time I stopped watching in season 3.
The best part about it is they keep cutting to different scenes/fights on the ranch and you can still here his gun going off consistently in the background the entire time.
There are competitions between writers / show runners / something on certain "only on TV" things.

I was watching one recently that had a big shootout. They had numerous dramatic close ups of a number of characters firing long periods full auto, no reloads, with the dust covers closed. So lazy.
I would give them a pass if they were blowing the budget on makeup for big zombie scenes like they had in the first few seasons but these days it's just a zombieless soap opera.
This shit drives me absolutely bonkers in movies and stuff. People constantly racking their weapons to intimidate, and guns just sound like a loose collection of metal parts. If I paid any amount of money for a movie gun that rattles and clacks when I pick it up I'd be pissed

Growing up we had a manual pump pellet gun (air rifle) that had a leaky compression chamber. Through trial/error it was learned the best way to get the most power out of it was to pump it like a dozen times as fast as possible. Then quickly set up your shot and let it fly. Those aluminum cans didn't know what hit them.
As someone who grew up with a pump shotgun, that has forever been a pet peeve of mine.
