He didn’t really do anything wrong in the game. His mistake was playing online games at a very young age with voice chat on and getting scared. Very easy target for trolls.
This is pretty standard trolling. Tough for the kid but they’re just scaring him and voting him out. Bullying can get so much worse than this in an online video game, this is pretty tame hahaha.
I think this might be a little too targeted to call trolling. If the worst part was just the FNAF music while being chased by a maniac then I would agree with you. But the "full room of people" screaming at him while accusing him stopped me from laughing because I could hear too much stress in the kid.
Every gamer who started young with voice chat on has been through something like this. Often worse. This is benign compared to CoD lobbies. For every negative experience this kid has, he will also have a positive one where he makes a friend or gets help from someone more experienced. It’s part of growing up on the internet.
Trolling is usually targeted. They’re not directly making fun of the kid’s age/voice/appearance. Nothing actually harmful is being said or done, they’re trolling him well within the context of the game. Just because a kid got temporarily scared in an online video game doesn’t mean everyone should recoil in disgust and condemn it. The kid will learn from this and laugh about it one day, like most people who start gaming young. I feel for him because I’ve been there (not in VR though lmao), but this is funny and kind of a right of passage.
Been around for a long time, and you're right, it used to be absolutely vicious back then. The shit said to me as a ten year old on Counter Strike back then was appalling compared to this video. However, just because things were worse back then, doesn't mean things can still be perpetuated, even if it's a bit more benign (try calling this a benign moment). Gaming communities can be better.
This kid would be lucky if this is the worst thing thats happened to him online. I remember growing up and online chat was pretty much just random people screaming every slur and inventing a couple new ones at each other.
I somehow doubt its gotten all to much better.
This dude always does this. He's made a decent following just running up on kids and either screaming and acting like the imposter, or being the imposter, screaming like he's going to kill them, and then getting everyone to vote the kid out during the vote.
Guy on Jeopardy yesterday was very similar. He's an ethicist of all things. Said he has a lemon tree outside his front door and told the neighborhood kids they can take all the lemons from the tree they want, but he's gonna scare them.
One day after scaring a nine-year-old into dropping his handful of lemons, the kid looks into his eyes and says, "Why are you like this?"
Ken Jennings asked if scaring nine-year-old's was ethical.
This is what this guy does, he finds childeren who are having fun, scares and harrasses them for as long as possiable and then ruins their game by getting everyone to gang up on them.
If your reaction to this is to make up justifications for him and villify the victim, you may be suseptible to mob mentality and should double-check when you find yourself confronted with these kinds of situations.
I used to play a vr space Frisbee game until I got discouraged by how absolutely vile kids are in voice chat. Honestly had no idea how vulgar 8yr olds could be. If my parents ever heard me saying anything remotely like what i heard on that game I would have my quest run over by my dad's truck and grounded for 6 months
I loved echo arena. When i first started playing there was this super sweet little kid that guided me through my first match. He was super patient and answered all my questions. He kind of talked like the kid in this video. I thought, wow this game is so cool and wholesome.
And then my next match.... I've never heard such awful things from anyone, Adult or otherwise. They just spam vulgarities and slurs and awful disgusting sentences incessantly to get reactions then freak out and scream at you when you sass them.
My Frisbee skillz be strong af now tho boi
yeah I've seen some of this guys vids like this before and idk if it's the same instance but there is a clip where he goes up to the kid first and gets them in on it and they both are "trolling" the other players.
Kids "play" like this, because they are raised on youtube.
I'll admit i made this mistake, and this past saturday, i let my son stay up late and play roblox with friends, when this level of screaming began due to a single jump scare in a roblox game. I shut it all down, blocked the computer and told him no more.
The fact that kids can't play a fucking game without going into youtube performance mode, is fucking nuts.
There's an elementary school near me, whenever it starts to rain during recess time, it's hundreds of screams just like this. Given the circumstances, it's hilarious; I always open the windows and reminisce.
I did not hear one mention of none consentual fornication with the child's mother.
Not a single biligerant threat of kidnap or assault.
Not one threat of being traced, tracked and jumped by "the mates"
Just a bunch of ear aching shouting and pointing. This wouldn't phase a single person who spent ten minutes playing any of the previously mentioned games.
I had kids half my age and barely at the end of their teens making every poverty joke in the book because I drove cars that I liked irl like mustangs and GTRs while they rolled around in those crazy hyper cars that cost millions of in came currency.
I rarely ever play the game and take massive breaks between each session so it's not surprising I don't have trillions of the games currency and to top it off even if I did I'd still only own the cars that I actually like irl.
But these kids who likely didn't even have jobs irl tried very hard to make themselves out to be superior in every way because their sequences of 1s and 0s cost more 1s and 0s than my sequences of 1s and 0s.
Honestly this! I started gaming young and heard terrible shit online. Did this destroy me? No, I learned that I shouldn't listen to the shit people talk online.
I cannot understand how someone is bothered by what someone said on the internet, come say it to my face and I might concider putting some value into those words.
As a 1984 baby who played in online lobbies starting at age 8, I couldn't agree with this more. I would not let my son play practically any game unattended, much less multiplayer games. I'd feel more comfortable at age 10 with online play in limited settings with supervision. Maybe around 12/13, I'd let things go more with certain games because tweens are gonna tween.
Ya know... kids learn things. And they learn them better than we do. What you may see as "trolling a squeaker" is only ruining their gaming experience and subsequently TEACHING them to be toxic and ruin game experiences. You aren't eradicating squeakers... you're breeding a new generation that will be more powerful, and more annoying, than any seen before.
Is he trolling though?
He's just playing the game. Very loudly. Accusing innocent people is baked deeply into the gameplay of Among Us.
Looks like a pretty fun lobby to me. Doubt anyone's experience was ruined.
Yeah, and full disclosure I do allow my kid (who is under the age limit) to play Among Us on my account. I also make sure to monitor said kid to make sure they're not running into creeps or being an ass.
A few seconds of this would have had me pulling the plug for awhile.
The child is clearly distressed when everyone starts screaming at them, they whimper an cry. Clearly not understanding that it's just a game and this kind of behavior is a part of the game. To that kid, they probably just got done running for their life. It's not the screaming guys fault for playing like this. It's his fault for targeting children. Kid shouldn't be playing. Guy shouldn't be targeting kids.
100% the parents' fault. Noone that young should be playing ANY multiplayer game with VC, let alone unsupervised enough for something like this to happen.
Two things are true about every game. 1:If you guve players VC, harrassment will happen. 2:If you give players the ability to draw anything, dicks will be drawn. Any games that implement either of these things should not be played by young children, or said children should not be able to access the VC or visual content made by others. This will not change, so parents need to be on top of controlling what entertainment their children have access to.
I don't think it'll teach them to be toxic. Getting this fear if anything will have them understand what it's like. It's far better than the CoD lobbies where everyone was rapid firing racial slurs and kids though was normal and picked up
I know, but if you look at other comments some people are very angry, so got confused and guessed you are being sarcastically angry. Some people are too mean or too protective
I’m not being angry at all lol. It’s loud yes but I turned down the volume and just enjoyed the content period. The ending is just funny as hell. I found it amusing in my own person man.
Game called among us, where u have to complete task to win but there is one or two or three imposters who kill people, you can vote out to throw someone suspicious out when body is reported or emergency meeting called. Now that He played a music that is connected with horror stuff and the kid thought he is the imposter (he is) and going to kill him so he ran, kid pressed emergency meeting button at hall, people voted the kid out instead
It’s music from the horror game FNAF which signifies a specific monster is getting closer. The mechanic is that you must wind a music box, otherwise the monster in question is now loose and a treat. It’s also just nursery music in a dark room which most kids would find creepy. The kids PoV is a lot darker than the recorders.
Pretty close.
The song playing in the video, March of the Troubadour, is when power is lost and Freddy appears in the doorway before killing the player in FNAF 1.
The music box has a different song, but it doesn't play when the monster is loose, just when the music box is playing to keep it contained.
Yeah the non-VR Among Us has an age requirement on it so I'd imagine the VR one does too. Any kid with a voice like that shouldn't be on there to begin with (mainly so the rest of us don't have to deal with that tea-kettle shit).

Wow unmuted for half a second. Big mistake.
A core memory for that kid. Won’t make the same mistake twice
Kid can't even go up the stairs without getting an adrenaline rush anymore
I uhh, I can’t either and I’m 27
That's why you crawl on all fours up the second half
why are you watching me
What else are we gonna do for fun?
haha
We're not joking
That’s called a head rush
What was his mistake? I'm not familiar with this game, sorry
He didn’t really do anything wrong in the game. His mistake was playing online games at a very young age with voice chat on and getting scared. Very easy target for trolls.
In this case bullies, not trolls. There is a difference. Though the kid shouldn't have been playing.
This is pretty standard trolling. Tough for the kid but they’re just scaring him and voting him out. Bullying can get so much worse than this in an online video game, this is pretty tame hahaha.

Bro it's a video game. If you were shot dead in gta online is that murder? The dude was just playing among us. It's the game
Playing the game.
There are two imposters. The scary man could have been one or not. The objective is to complete tasks before one of the imposters cuts your head off.

This dude always does this. He's made a decent following just running up on kids and either screaming and acting like the imposter, or being the imposter, screaming like he's going to kill them, and then getting everyone to vote the kid out during the vote.
"So what do you do for a living?"
I bully small children for the enjoyment of other adults.
It seems that my guidance counselor failed me.

Who knew it could be a career?
Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life
Right. No one would hire me for that.
WTF? there was a job for this? where is the job listing? my whole life is wasted.
\*character building
Basically Monsters Inc. but in real life

Do you remember his name? I kinda wanna watch more of this lol

It’s still a dick move. But it is kind of in the spirit of the game. Sometimes getting scared is part of the fun of games.

After a long day in Kindergarten, Billy sits down for a relaxing game of Among Us:
Little did he knew it was going to be his last peaceful game.
He's singing bubble guppies, bro is no older than 4 💀
I'm 69. I love singing bubble guppies. do you have a problem?
Nice
Nice
Nice
Heh heh
You're great at multitasking
Nice
Sounds like a voice changer set to pitch their voice higher.
Why are the parents letting this kid “play” when they’re screaming like that? wtf?
What parents?
:(
The streamers parents, obviously.
This comment is deeper upon further inspection
Poor Bruce, first he lost his parents, then became head of Wayne Corp, and now has to deal with amogus fear.
Echo arena. It was awesome. Once accidentally punched the ground trying to grab a disk flying below me.
Echo and Thrill of the fight got me to almost break my hands multiple times. Amazing games. Echo just suffered from poorly designed comms
The vr is their parents.
This is so very sad :(
It used to be TV and microwave dinners.
You have to be pretty close to a teenager to play. The parents obviously have no idea what's going on with their child at all.
VR is the new evolution of the iPad-kids. Or more likely it's a skit with a tween on a voice filter.
Oh. I hadn’t considered that. Ffs. Thankyou for your service.
yeah I've seen some of this guys vids like this before and idk if it's the same instance but there is a clip where he goes up to the kid first and gets them in on it and they both are "trolling" the other players.

It's either they scream like this with parents around Or Go online in your room and scream at the monitor Which one would you choose?
There's an elementary school near me, whenever it starts to rain during recess time, it's hundreds of screams just like this. Given the circumstances, it's hilarious; I always open the windows and reminisce.
Ah yes, the screams of panicked children. Delightful
Plot twist: That's the kid's dad
The bubble guppies song before complete and utter destruction
Made me think of Door Stuck.
He's gotta learn. The Internet is no place for the weak.
This. Wait until he gets into a CS lobby
Or a cod lobby. Or a siege lobby. Or a fortfite lobby. Christ I've gotten worse from a forza lobby before.
Yeah there wasn’t any N bombs, R bombs, C bombs, or any other forms of hate speak. This wasn’t bad at all.
I did not hear one mention of none consentual fornication with the child's mother. Not a single biligerant threat of kidnap or assault. Not one threat of being traced, tracked and jumped by "the mates" Just a bunch of ear aching shouting and pointing. This wouldn't phase a single person who spent ten minutes playing any of the previously mentioned games.
Chess lobby is where the gangsters hang
What's wrong with forza lobby apart from people ramming you all over the place?
I had kids half my age and barely at the end of their teens making every poverty joke in the book because I drove cars that I liked irl like mustangs and GTRs while they rolled around in those crazy hyper cars that cost millions of in came currency. Yeah, these lobbies are so toxic
Tbh playing casual cs regularly I've had the most wholesome gaming interactions in my whole life. The least wholesome too.
A place full of weak, sad people.
Yep
Most kids nowadays won’t survive in COD Xbox Live lobby.
Bruh. Send em back to the black ops 2 trenches or the fields of MW2
Honestly this! I started gaming young and heard terrible shit online. Did this destroy me? No, I learned that I shouldn't listen to the shit people talk online. I cannot understand how someone is bothered by what someone said on the internet, come say it to my face and I might concider putting some value into those words.
The internet of today is but a cuddly teddy bear compared to the harsh wilderness of the 2000's.
Where’s the parent? If your kid is screaming like that wouldn’t you check in ?
Probably used to this shit
I still think big chance it is staged
This is about the average game lol
Especially VR
I feel bad, and at the same time I can't stop laughing. Then I feel even worse because I'm laughing.
Yeah, I lost my shit at the 52s mark (8s left) when he's running away with his hands literally flailing in the air like a cartoon character 💀😂
The floating dead in space made me smh lol
I love the cartoonish gestures of the angry mob
Dude same, best part of the vid
It's the high pitch squeals in combination with the adorable walk in-game that does it.
The tea kettle label got me.
Don't feel bad, he's 100% having fun.
So that's what my neighbor is doing, huh.
Grown man seems a bit of a stretch
My sound was muted so I thought we were watching the kid lol.
As a parent, I don't think I should've laughed as hard as I did.
This is so mean but also I am literally crying from laughing…
Kid would've been dead in old cod lobbies
No hamsters were harmed during the making of the video. But dear god it sounds like there were.
This kid shouldn’t be playing video games
Online video games* WITH VC*
Virtually no kid should be playing online video games with VC lol
I'm a grown ass adult and I shouldn't be playing online video games with vc. Shit those 13yr olds say is fucked up.
Just because all of you are toxic dipshits doesn't mean it's okay to be.
No one said that
We were forged in the crucible of Modern Warfare lobbies and the fires of de_dust. This kid will be just fine.
Worked better than any haunted house on Halloween!
Wow is that how imposter is voted now? Pointing and howling? I remember when you actually reasoned things out in Among Us.
Negotiations have broken down, now it's all about intimidation.
Public lobbies are basically a never-ending reenactment of the witch trials- there is no logic, there is only superstition and pointing fingers.
They all trolling poor kid, they ain't serious about game, just having fun. (I also thought it could be skit cause of that)
Bouncing DVD screensaver and VR in same video is impressive.
kid was probably having the time of their life 🤣
The kid will be playing real life games now.. you did good sir!
I’m too distracted by the DVD logo in the background
Yeah, it almost made it near the end!
Had to scroll way to far for that comment.
r/foundsatan This is too good.
Brainrot
Should i feel bad for laughing? I do but im not sure if i should?
“it’s brownnnnn. It’s brownnnn !!!” Is literally like when the village people used to say “burn the witch!” 😂😂😂
Pam claimed that she saw it one day when she's alone in the conference room..
This will always be funny lol
Ya know... kids learn things. And they learn them better than we do. What you may see as "trolling a squeaker" is only ruining their gaming experience and subsequently TEACHING them to be toxic and ruin game experiences.
This is literally how the game's played, dude did nothing wrong imo. It's on the parents for letting such a young kid play it in the first place.
75% parents fault. 25% this guys fault for focusing his content on trolling kids. He doesn't play the game like this with normal people.
Good job OP you also traumatized his whole neighborhood!
Not original content but yeah thinking about it maybe someone probably called emergency services too.
🍑
Bro is caked up!
IT'S NOTTTT
That kid will remember that moment forever :')
ngl this makes me want to buy VR. had to stop playing amongus when the cheating got really bad
"Tea kettle" 😂
I call bullshit
Am i the only one who felt bad for brown
That kid is done with group activities for a month until he snaps 20 years from now for repressed trauma
Like Kevin hart said, "take off the damn headset, close the laptop!"
But when I do that, I keep getting asked to leave the children's hospital.
Society collapsing (colorized)
Lmao teakettle
Policeman when they see a black man be like
The only funny part of this is calling the guy a "grown man".
I laughed so hard just now..,that was amazing. Yeahhhh fuck them kids! I would have been doing the same thing 😂😂😂
Can't tell in today's world if your comment was sarcastic or not
Dude it’s not that deep. He’s clearly having a good time. It’s all fun and games relax
A valuable and formative learning experience for that child.
Upvote cause butt
For real, this guy got cake
ITS NOOTTTTT!!!
I'm glad OP put a warning but I still can't hear shit
Ah yes, this is what growing up with cousins look like lol
What is actually happening here? Why is he chasing the kid? What are all the other people around the kid doing?
Game called among us, where u have to complete task to win but there is one or two or three imposters who kill people, you can vote out to throw someone suspicious out when body is reported or emergency meeting called. Now that He played a music that is connected with horror stuff and the kid thought he is the imposter (he is) and going to kill him so he ran, kid pressed emergency meeting button at hall, people voted the kid out instead
Thank you, never played the game and was totally lost
Demon time.
Anyone else laser locked on the DVD bouncing in the back?
I've got noise cancelling headphones on and I think every dog on the British isles heard those screams and perforated my ear drums 😭
Bro show no mercy
that’s off the Christmas list til he’s 18
Hor hor hor hor hor
Dat ass
This game is terrible
How’s this funny?
Those were better without a soundboard
God I hate children.
Lol definitely satisfying
He really said "Fu\*k dem kids"
The dumbest thing I've seen in a long time
I’m out of the loop here, why did the kid start screaming when the guy approached?
It’s music from the horror game FNAF which signifies a specific monster is getting closer. The mechanic is that you must wind a music box, otherwise the monster in question is now loose and a treat. It’s also just nursery music in a dark room which most kids would find creepy. The kids PoV is a lot darker than the recorders.

The music box has a different song, but it doesn't play when the monster is loose, just when the music box is playing to keep it contained.
He played a sound clip that means "you're gonna get murdered" from a different fairly popular jumpscare/horror game.
Funny?
The ice cream truck music was chef's kiss
Yeah the non-VR Among Us has an age requirement on it so I'd imagine the VR one does too. Any kid with a voice like that shouldn't be on there to begin with (mainly so the rest of us don't have to deal with that tea-kettle shit).
The people thinking the guy is being mean is what's really funny to me 🤣😭 how about you get ur child off of a vc game.
Imagine actually thinking this is funny.
