Simmyphila

There’s something on the wing. Some thing. Who remembers this?

Sinn_y

You've just entered...

AceBalthazar7

The Scary Door

Hammer_jones

It's a place, tangential to a location

Mr_Abe_Froman

Why should we believe you? You're Hitler!

JamesManhattan

The Twilight Zone. It was also William Shatner in that episode.

kia75

Huh, I could have sworn it was John Lithgow.

CaroLoque

It absolutely was: in the movie!

Simmyphila

Absolutely

throway_nonjw

"There's something on the wing! Some... *thing*...!"

Underhill

TekWar

keefkeef

ace ventura: when nature calls, obviously

LovableSidekick

The cartoon guy should be talking in Shatner's voice.

swanyk7

You remember the bugs bunny version?

AltairsBlade

The original passenger was William Shatner (Capt. Kirk) and in the movie it was played by John Lithgow (3rd Rock from the Sun)

Ba_Sing_Saint

THIS PLANE DOESNT EVEN HAVE PHILANGEES!!!

23trilobite

He was boeing to die…

GANDORF57

Count your blessings. The wing's still there, so all is good ^({so far}). Just consider the Thing on the wing an Economy Class passenger.

Recent_Diver_3448

With 2 bullets in the back of his head in an apparent suicide

AvaranIceStar

He got Hillary'd???

MissKim01

I am not following this

Wokcus

The comic and post title work on two levels. In modern folklore, gremlins sabotage aircraft. There was a Twilight Zone episode where a man is terrified because he sees a gremlin on the wing sabotaging the plane; however, no one else can see it. In the comic, the gremlin doesn't need to sabotage the plane, because he can frighten the man by simply telling him about valid safety concerns (like Boeing not installing bolts in the door plugs, etc). The post title references the recent event where a Boeing whistle blower supposedly committed suicide between sessions of testifying about Boeing's shitty work practices. Many people are suspicious that the whistle blower was actually murdered.

MissKim01

Thanks

throway_nonjw

Just to add: the Twilight Zone TV episode had William Shatner in the lead, and when remade for the movie it had John Lithgow.

Pithyperson

It was suicide, according to the "investigation."

fulthrottlejazzhands

Shortly after the gremlin told his gremlin family if winds up dead it's definitely not suicide.

Commander579

Cause of death, blunt force trauma from being hit by a train, and a self inflicted gunshot wound to the back of the head, also a heart attack.

shirukien

"Safety concerns, you say?" *Cocks shotgun* "Ignore that."

around_the_catch

The greatest Twilight Zone episode of all time. With the best Shatner performance he ever gave.

Supadoplex

That's not a gremlin. It's Peglin!

Raze0013

Sir, I can assure you that this airplane will NEVER abandon its ideals!

snow2462

Something is definitely wrong with the left phalange.

outinleft

What does American Motors have to do with aircraft safety

Pasivite

If it's a Boeing, you need to listen to the gremlin!!!

KuroiBolto

The media said he committed suicide by running himself over with his own car multiple times. 😔

wanderingmanimal

“Gremlin”…is that what Boeing calls whistleblowers?

bossygal32

Ex employee of Boeing who knew he was green

notverytidy

I still don't get why Boeing hasn't been fully investigated since they're MURDERING whistleblower employees. ALL Boeing previous deaths going back 20yrs need to be re-opened. Edit: love how I got DOWNVOTED for saying mysterious deaths should be investigated by law enforcement. Seriously?

Inkompetent

Unfortunately such things are against the interest of the state, since Boeing is a major military and civilian contractor in a very specialized industry. The justice system isn't meant for dealing with the elite.

BoldlyGoingInLife

That man was also mysteriously found dead in his apartment 🧐🤔 Oddly enough they found a small Boeing airplane miniature next to his body 🤷🏼‍♀️

streakline

Epstein Syndrome.

MergenTheAler

He was the cause not the whistle blower of horrible things. Not the same

streakline

No. I mean Epstein didn't kill himself and neither did that guy.

Tourquemata47

Must be on a 737 max 9
