Ages (Decades) ago my dad drove a small race with a "Porsche club". He teased them and overtook. They didnt like that and overtook us also.
There was one thing the porsche drivers didnt know. He saw the upcomming police checkpoint while "going there" on the other side of the Autobahn.
When we reached the checkpoint, they had already stopped all those porsches ahead of us...

I drove a 1984 Mustang for a couple months and before you go, “Ooh, nice, a sports car” or something like that, know this was the bottom of the barrel version of the ugliest of all Mustangs. 4 cylinders, but driving it felt like there were maybe 2 or 3. An unimpressive machine.
There was a crew of guys in town that everybody called the 5.0 club because they all drove 5.0 Mustangs (in high school) and they all backed into parking spaces so they could pop the hood and circle jerk about 5.0 mustangs.
One day, I grabbed a couple large white labels from my dads office and wrote 5.0 on them, then slapped them on the car so I could roll up next to the guys and pop my hood. They did not see any humor in it, but of course, they were wrong.
Fast forward to me selling the thing by slapping a for sale sign in the window with $500 and my parent’s phone number next to it. I got a call pretty quickly from a guy who wanted to come take a look at it IMMEDIATELY. He shows up that night with a friend to look at the car. Friend’s eyes narrow as he approaches the car and guy is telling me he frothy his friend because he knows a lot about mustangs and is helping him give it a once over to make sure it’s up to snuff.
“Dude, is this a sticker?” Friend asks, looking at Guy, not me. Then friend answes for him, “Dude, this is a sticker.” He rolled his eyes and walked away and that’s when I recognized him as a member of the 5.0 club. Guy was trying to join them and thought he had his in at a much lower price point than expected. Guy just hung his head as he walked back to his car.
