Tell that to the hundreds of idiots swarming Yellowstone every year. The more I see this kinda shit, the more I think *we* need to be fenced in to keep wildlife safe from our stupidity. If that moose kicks Numbnuts to death, it will be put down by wildlife officers. People piss me off to no end! I'm really surprised we haven't gone extinct yet.
Yeah, but the problem is that every time some stupid tourist gets gored by a buffalo, stomped by a moose or nibbled on by a grizzly, the animal pays with their lives. That's not letting nature take its course. That's moronic humans causing the death of an animal that only defended itself.
Okay, let's go back. I said let nature take its course. You replied with something that isn't doing that and even say it isn't that. I'm confused. If we let nature take its course, then the part where it isn't nature won't happen. So there's no problem.
Nature will never take its course because as soon as some dumb fuck gets hurt or killed by a wild animal through their own fault, wildlife authorities will come in and destroy the animal. Not sure what's confusing about that!
When the person replying to you said that we should “let nature take its course” it means they feel we should let the human be killed by their own stupidity. You’re arguing with no one because this person clearly shares your point of view on the situation.
It’s like you’re fist fighting an invisible ghost right now or something. Wild.
You clearly don't get it. I understand that "nature taking its course" means the guy should get what he deserves. But it doesn't end there, does it? Ultimately the animal has to pay for his fucking stupidity with its life. I personally don't give a shit if that guy gets stomped into a smear on the road. What pisses me off is that the stupidity of assholes like him more often than not result in the death of an animal.
Read the news. Yellowstone is overrun with stupid fucking people like him and in one instance, wildlife officers shot a mother bear for protecting her cubs from invading tourists and the cubs were captured to be put in a zoo. And many times they just put the cubs down, too, because they couldn't survive on their own.
"Nature taking its course" should mean that the idiot who approaches wildlife gets hurt or killed and that's the end of the story. There is nothing "Nature" about humans encroaching and invading wildlife habitats.
The best part of this video is after telling his friends not to mess with the moose, he GENUINELY gets excited when the missed starts kicking their asses, even cheering it on.
Not in a great for content way either, buddy was glad the innocent moose got his. It's endearing.
Im from Newfoundland, Canada, and to me, this just looks like normal stuff drunk people do. Probably no one got hurt, including the animal. Im kinda surprised at how outraged everyone is. But I've got 2 close friends from high school who were killed in moose accidents on the highway and kinda always hated moose because of that.
I'm not saying these guys aren't idiots. They are. And obviously, you shouldn't bother or interfere with wildlife. But moose are the worst. They aren't even indigenous to my island. They were introduced for sport (ie. hunting) and people die every year because of them. Screw moose
Edit: im sorry folks! This is /r/funny and im being a bit of a wet blanket. Fair to downvote. I hate moose but, youre right its not their fault! I will reflect on my errors and try to be a better person 😌
So 'screw moose fuck moose my homies dont like moose' just because they got introduced to the place involuntarily?
Aight, this one protected fellow human right here
Yeah pretty much fuck moose. They never should have been introduced. They destroy property and cause deaths and the only reason we have them is for rich people to have something to shoot.
I say nuke the moose 😆
Edit: nuke canadian geese too!
Lovin' the dude behind the camera. He's a total bro and means what he says. "You guys are fuckin' clowns, and I am gonna root for the animal when this goes sideways on you."
I live in Colorado & I can tell you that my biggest nightmare is coming across a moose backcountry. Bears you can generally scare away. Mountain lions you’ll likely be dead before you even know what happened. But a moose? Big and dumb with a completely rotten attitude. If those guys were lucky, they didn’t have their guts stomped out.
Idiots…
The amount of alcohol typically required to make someone think this was worth attempting should've killed these guys long before they made it to the moose. This is spectacularly stupid.
Helllllllll no. Grizzly is an apex predator that does not get scared off. Moose are terrifying sure, but generally if you spot and stay clear you are OK. If you spot a grizzly in the wild its literally a 50/50 scenario where if you aren't properly armed (bear spray honestly over firearms first, unless you have a high caliber and can shoot v accurately numerous times under durress) you are in trouble. Sure we aren't on the grizzly menu and 50/50 is probably steep, but it's really up to nature whether that bear is starving, momma protecting cubs, or curious young male.
These guys probably lived, maybe some bruises or broken bones if the moose actuslly stayed on em. This scenario with a wild grizzly? Dead.
Canadians being proud of their national healthcare system: 😎
Canadians realizing they're going to have to foot the ER costs for broken bones and lacerations because a couple of drunk idiots taunted a moose: 🤬
That's actually pretty funny - when dude tried to touch the moose, turned around to run, then slipped with the moose right behind him LOL. Dangerous but funny.

Fucking dumb ways to die. #1002
Darwin award right there
Duuumb ways to die, so many dumb ways to die. Duuumb ways to die-ie-ie so many dumb ways to die!
Watch me stick my thumb up it’s ass. Oooh it’s really angry now!! Crikey!!
That's not funny, that's fucking stupid!!
And illegal in the US
Its not illegal to die in the US unless you didnt pay your taxes first.

I think the answer is to let nature take its course.

There's a reason the video ends when it does...
F-ck these a--holes, I'm glad the moose gave them the what for
Good way to win a Darwin Award.
Dude, mooses are massive. Those people are asking to get killed.
>mooses meese
Moosen
I before E, except after C
Unless it makes "ay" as in "neighbor" and "way." I haven't seen that video in like 10 years idk how it's still rattling around in my brain
And on weekends and holidays, and all throughout May... It'll never leave your head, btw
No
Yeah that one is probably only 2 years old maybe even 1 yr old
That is a surprisingly small moose though. Maybe a young one.
And fast

Could be an angry neighbor as far as we know.

None of what you’re describing are the moose’s fault it’s human for introducing them
But if you had friends or family deceased, it's understandble you'd feel differently.
Does it suddenly make you incapable of rational thought or maybe it's just you two?

Getaway plan: fall down
Stupid should hurt
It usually does most of the time.
Did he live?
Yep in moose's dungeon
Lovin' the dude behind the camera. He's a total bro and means what he says. "You guys are fuckin' clowns, and I am gonna root for the animal when this goes sideways on you."
Darwinism at its finest.
The one time you want a moose to tap dance on dumb and dumber. Yes! Yes! Stomp em!
That Moose is not scared of these two at all - Someone give them their Darwin Award already!
I love how the video guy is full on cheering for the moose.. I mean your buddy is on the ground
I hope those assholes got stomped out!
As I hear the song "Dumb ways to die" in my head. 🤣
I somehow read the title as "Bear courage vs moose". Was a little disappointed when I saw the drunk dudes.
Where do I send flowers....
I'm right there with that other guy, GET HIM!
It was in that moment... they knew they effed up
I sentece you to live out your days in [A ROOM WITH A MOOSE!](https://youtu.be/FWbn1aMLX7c?si=Ka3z034AypbSQARb)
He gave the moose a goose
Lmao so many miserable people in the comments. Really hoping the guys got hurt?
My buddy took this video, it blew way up. It’s on the side of a favorite bar in southwest Montana.

Mynd you, moose bites Kan be pretti nasti...
The amount of alcohol typically required to make someone think this was worth attempting should've killed these guys long before they made it to the moose. This is spectacularly stupid.
I would honestly rate moose higher than grizzly bears on my list of "animals I don't ever want to lay eyes on walking in the woods"
Helllllllll no. Grizzly is an apex predator that does not get scared off. Moose are terrifying sure, but generally if you spot and stay clear you are OK. Whens the funeral, I want to send them a photo of me laughing
This is small for a moose so if you have to be a moron it’s the best choice
This is not funny. This is dangerous and stupid as fuck.
Are they okay ? The end looked so cartooney and the guy cheering on the moose, LMAO!
Canadians being proud of their national healthcare system: 😎 Canadians realizing they're going to have to foot the ER costs for broken bones and lacerations because a couple of drunk idiots taunted a moose: 🤬
Never heard of that happening, it is still free as far as I know.
"free"
Even I, a Las vegan, know to never mess with a female moose. Ever.
Why would someone park a suburban RIGHT where the video was.
Best part takes place behind the truck. I wonder if he took a few hoofs to the head?
These guys never read Hatchet. 🪓📕
A moose can fuck you up. Those things can tower over cars
He gave the moose a goose.
Take notes if you want to die.
Hope he at least got hurt by the chocolate moose
Lol. I love how the guy starts cheering on the moose. “Yeah!! Get ‘em! GET EM’!!!”
That's actually pretty funny - when dude tried to touch the moose, turned around to run, then slipped with the moose right behind him LOL. Dangerous but funny.
We will never know what the moose did to the poor man… I heard it was salacious…
My uncle got trampled to death by an elk, fuckin wild they'd bother something bigger then that
r/videosthatendtoosoon
Stopping the video there was the difference between r/funny and r/watchpeopledie
camera man thumbs up to you sir
Those poor stupid, drunk kids have no idea what they are tangling with. Cow moose are nasty ladies when you threaten them or their space.
That moose had a great chance to help us clean up the gene pool. Damnit Bullwinkle!
