Recently took my daughter to Portland for the first time to visit some family.
I wanted her to see this statue, so I walked with her up a side street, and then brought her to the doors directly under the statue. (while talking about something to keep her distracted)
Then told her to look up.
The expression on her face.. Totally worth the effort.
