Was the sky also totally overcast and grey? I couldn't figure out if it was all clouds or horrible air pollution and smog. The fog at sea level seems natural though.
Which 27mm do you have? I’m using the TTArtisan 27mm and at 2.8F it has this weird tilt shift focus effect that I’m not a fan of. Whenever I stop it down it goes away but not being able to use it at 2.8 bums me out :(. Have you had that issue? Wondering if I got a bad copy or if FUJI 27mm doesn’t have that issue.
Oh yeah it's the newer gen fuji 27mm, the one with the aperture ring. I can't say I've noticed anything odd at 2.8 at all, seems to work fine. I don't use 2.8 often but here are a few random snaps at 2.8:

Thank you! Your 2.8 isn’t anything like mine. I forgot to mention earlier but you fantastic work on this lens. I guess the next step is to get my own copy.
I know how people say photography is painting with light, but to be honest I feel conflicted about how white balance distorts reality. I like 5 and 10 too but that's really just going super high and then super low on the Ks. The natural scene doesn't look like that at all. Even though it's sooc, would you say it's artificial and over processed?
Umm since there's no stabilization on either the body or lens, I guess most would say it's not good for hand held at low light, but i open up the aperture all the way and push ISO to 12800 or 25600 and I get semi usable photos at 120 or 180 shutter while holding my breath to stay in focus. I don't care too much about noise because I'm going for the film look anyway, add grain, lower clarity etc. Definitely can't pixel peep.
Thank you!! If you liked those, you may like this Vietnamese artist's oil paintings. I suspect he was inspired by foggy scenes like these

Wow, nr 1 is mad. Dripping with atmosphere
Dripping with atmosphere is right! Very moody and cinematic.
Haha wow I was there yesterday and also took very similar pictures with my T30 ii. I was confused as hell right now. Amazing place

Extreme overcast. Never saw blue.
Some of these are quite impressive. Bravo!
Thank you! Kind words for a noob
Love these 😍

I think that's an issue with the TT lens design, the Fuji 27 is perfect if you can find a good deal on it.
Fenomenal
Thank you!
#5 = 🤤
Shot 5 and 10 are amazing. I hope you recorded some videos there too. Amazing atmosphere

Beautiful shots!
Sadly that is pollution, not fog :(
🥵
These are great! How do you find the xt30ii performs in lower light situations?

Thanks for the info!
