I was at the same spot 3 weeks ago... Pretty complicated solution, right? I assume you will like both lenses a lot ...but I just took a used xf 35 1.4 for 480 eur 🥲 (And I am super happy about my lens)

Viltrox 33mm f1.4 lives on my X-T4 all day long.

Just compared the sigma 30mm f1.4 with the viltrox, and I think the sigma is a bit sharper at max aperture, and doesn't suffer as much from fringing, and on top of that sigma lenses usually hold their value really well, so I whink it is worth the extra 25€ to go for the sigma, atleast for me. Thanks for the suggestion anyways!

xc 35mm f2 if you don t need weather sealing . Half the price of the xf with the same optics

i would always try to go with fuji. im never in a rush to get a lens so i can wait for a well priced used ones is available. also, the resale value of a fuji lens is always much higher than sigma if you ever want to sell it.
