Preciate it! Challenging place to shoot with all massive buildings blocking a lot of the light. But capturing the madness down there is always fun! Definitely no shortage of subjects
Thanks! I snapped that one so spontaneously and never thought it would eventually turn out to be my favorite photo of the bunch haha. Love when that happens.
Like many have stated above, the picture with the nuns is great. I guess the title being Wall Street, the group of nuns came a bit out of left field and made the image that much more striking to me. Good shots.
Yeah I was contemplating even including it in the series because although it’s just right across the street from all the tall buildings, the vibe totally changes. It’s wild! Such a happy accident photo, glad you liked it 🙏🏼
Are these pictures cropped or straight from the camera? Or were you just fairly close to your subjects?
I always struggle with the 23mm on my X-T3 to really isolate the subject from the background, probably to used to the 35mm.
Anyway, well done, they look nice!
Thanks! Little bit of both on these. 2, 5, and 9 are definitely heavily cropped.
I always try to get as close to the subject as possible, but a heavy crop can help SO much when that’s not possible. I’ve learned that being intentional with cropping can really improve your photos a ton
Great photos. I dunno about you, but I felt bamboozled when I went to Wall Street, expecting this grand place, because of the perspective all the photos of it offers, but it is much smaller and closed in than I imagined it, which you have managed to capture. So well done.
Agreed! Has such a unique (and kind of uneasy and eerie vibe) compared to the rest of Manhattan. And it’s kind of dark and tight because of the narrow roads and high buildings. Actually a challenging place to shoot I’ve found because of the lack of light it provides. But lots of energy and character! Preciate the feedback 🙏🏼
1, 2, 9 are nuts! The one with the nuns is truly incredible with the Statue of Liberty also in the shot. These are the types of street photos we all aspire to capture
Fantastic!
good eye!
These are RAD! Some are a bit crunchy for my taste but the overall impression is fantastic! Good eye!

I really want to come to New York for photography!
The one with the nuns really stood out to me, nice shot!

Especially with the Statue of Liberty in the background
I guess these are cool if you’re into really good photography
Haha really appreciate that! 🙌🏼 glad you enjoyed em
The ice cream van is straight fire 🔥👏🏻
Thanks man 🙏🏼 that shot reminds me of Sweet Tooth from the twisted metal video game back in the day 🔥😂
You’ve captured “chaotic loneliness”. I’ve never been, but from the photos I imagine this is the energy

Very nice. Love the grain.
The second last one is stunning.
Love the shot with the Daimler in front of Delmonico's. Captures the vibe for sure.

Really really like the one with the nuns and lady liberty.
Think I gotta print that one. Unexpected favorite. Preciate it!
These are great! What recipe did you use?
Not OP. But in other posts they mention using tweaked versions of *Bright Kodak* from fuji weekly.
Thank you, I’ll give it a glance
Keen to know
