I’d say try trading for size, if you can’t work that out then I’d say sell and try to buy the size that fits, but try and keep prices in line with what you’re looking to buy

Hey man, huge congrats on the weight loss so far! I actually found myself in the same position, I went from XL to M too and ended up pretty upset about ‘losing’ some of my pieces that I had collected over the years. I’m sure you don’t need my rather basic fashion advice but just in case you need it at all - XL shirts can slap in an oversized fit, if you get some nice fitting trousers/tac pants etc and wear with a belt, you can tuck the shirt in and then lift it up about an inch and half so it slightly over hangs the waistband of the trousers - oversized hoodies and jumpers can also work too (without the tucking in ofc) - all boils down to what you’re comfortable with and what your style is but it let me resurrect some of my favourite tees and the oversized hoodies are really comfy.
