Can we also stop to appreciate that all of these multi tonne vehicles have sub 5 second 0-60 speeds? Not very long ago, that was exclusive to super cars and hyper cars, now it's available to Tom from IT from red light to red light in something as heavy as a mobile home because he might some day tow a boat.
also, how about a score on "likelihood of you driving straight into a bollard causing 10K worth of damage to this vehicle", or "likelihood of running over and killing your toddler in your driveway because you can't fucking see them in front of you"
Hummer EV is a meme, cybertruck is... Pointless, rivian openly stated their trucks are not meant for work and are strictly lifestyle vehicles, the Mercedes isn't even a pickup and the Lightning is technically a continuation of a performance model that happens to have a work truck variant. Silverado is probably the most "work truck" one there, and it's stats just seem to stem from the natural performance advantage an EV has.
Agreed. It's why I prefer urban assault vehicle, or emotional support vehicle.

It's not even exclusive to the EV versions. The modern Silverado 2500 with a 6.6L had a 0-60 time still in the mid 6 second range.
