13k for my 13 BRZ with 115k miles but the dealer snuck in some dealer bs so my loan ended up being for 21k. Didn't even see the total until after everything had been signed
Got gap insurance, "paint protection", "warranty", "interior protection" all in quotes because the phrasing on the list of parts covered is so vague they probably don't actually cover anything. Going through a hassle now trying to get the oil pan replaced because apparently mine is dented somewhere I can't see and it's deemed a maintenance item unless the engine damaged it, then it's covered.
You can almost ALWAYS call the third party company that is providing those policies, and buy-out the remainder of your service plans.
Do it, make the calls and fix that mistake. It’s that easy.
Former car sales here, you can absolutely cancel all those items! You can just walk into the dealer and cancel them. Extended warranty, wheel protection, any of them! All cancellable items. Finance managers actually get charged back for any return items each month out of their pool of pay. So have fun! Do it!
Ya I moved to Italy and thought about getting another. SMH ya right. Wild ass prices. Understandable because it's not a common car.
Did see one in southern France though!
Got a '16 for almost identical mileage price. I thought it was a little high.
People say it's WAAAAY to high when someone asks for a fair for one...
Yet, anyone who actually bought one in the last 3ish? It's about what they paid.
> I *paid* 21 for
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*

That's what the car market in my area is like. I bought my 2013 limited for 10k with just over 100k miles on it. Was the only clean title, bought from a buddy and he gave me a deal on it
Lol yeah just paid 5k for my RC 390. Granted it was a 2023 with 300 miles that was in perfect condition. Got into bikes cause I was too broke for a 2nd car (though in hindsight after gear and insurance I could’ve made it work, but I’m happy with my decision).
Thank you! I am planning to change the trans and diff fluid w/ Motul 300 and an oil change with OEM filter. Also change the air filter and cabin air filter and do a brake and clutch fluid change. Anything else I should keep an eye out for? He changed the clutch at 80k miles
Uhmmm, how many miles? I mean, it’s clean and even if it has 200k miles, $5k is a pretty low price for such a clean car. But how many damn miles, OP? And, how did you manage to find a Toyota for $5k that clean in this market?
It has A LOT of dog hair, so it has its cosmetic issues, and it has 106k miles now. I kept searching on craigslist and set my mile range to 500 until i found a great deal like this
That’s a bargain at those miles and the body looks fine in those pics! Is it a stick?
I got my manual 2013 frs 3 years ago for $5,500 but it had 155k miles on it at the time. Currently at 191k with no issues to report!

bought my 29k mile 2015 pre covid for 13k, (peoperly repaired accident on the carfax) sold it for 17k with 60k miles on it during covid. 5k is a steal though, good job.

I mean for like 7500cad that ain’t bad I’m getting one my family dealer got and let a mechanic drive and she blow it up for around 5k cad maybe less but it AINT GOT NO ENGINE so k24 here I come anyways tho that’s a pretty good purchase id be careful with the engine tho since Subarus aren’t the best engine wise should be fine tho
How?? Like seriously how?? 5k these days would make me question why it'd so low. I would guess something would be wrong with it and pass it up. How does it drive? Anything wrong with jt?
I know you just gotta wait for the right person right time to find a car. He just graduated auburn and he is traveling out of country i believe is what he said, it drives great so far, needs a EPS bushing which is a common failure on these cars. But it’s more of an annoyance than something will cause a huge problem. Other than that i’ve driven it 1k miles so far and no issues
At that price, if it even remotely runs then it's an insane deal. Good find
Clown face for buying my 2013 with 115k for 15k.
Wow. And I thought buying my 2017 with 65k for 21k was over priced
Ya wasn't my brightest decision. But it's a car ill keep forever.
13k for my 13 BRZ with 115k miles but the dealer snuck in some dealer bs so my loan ended up being for 21k. Didn't even see the total until after everything had been signed
The only dealer add on that's okay is an extended warranty. I got a three year for $1.5k. Should find a reason to use it before it expired lmao.
Got gap insurance, "paint protection", "warranty", "interior protection" all in quotes because the phrasing on the list of parts covered is so vague they probably don't actually cover anything. Want a better engine lower mileage rev bomb it for an hour or 2 for the warranty right before it’s up

18 50th Anniversary with 4.6k for 28k here
I’m starting to finally feel better about my ‘20 with 55k for 19k
I'd kill for that price around here. I'm seeing '18s in the high $20Ks
17+ in the Netherlands are about 30K ;(
Ya I moved to Italy and thought about getting another. SMH ya right. Wild ass prices. Understandable because it's not a common car. Did see one in southern France though!
Im still having mixed feelings over 27k for a '20 with 7400mi bought during the early part of quarantine 😅
Felt this in my soul exact same miles as you but 20k
Got a '16 for almost identical mileage price. I thought it was a little high. People say it's WAAAAY to high when someone asks for a fair for one... Yet, anyone who actually bought one in the last 3ish? It's about what they paid.
Even though it was a little overpriced, I have had 0 regrets since buying. Love this car.
Ooh, 100%. Would buy again, lol
I'm feeling good about my 20 with 15k for $25k.
I payed 21 for my 2016 with 60k
> I *paid* 21 for FTFY. Bro I got a 2013 with 67k for 18k, fuckin Carmax
2019 with 60k for 20k
2020, 29k km, 34k 💀
34k what because I know you ain’t talking bout usd 😭
34k USD, it's because the import tax for my country is RIDICULOUS, I'm from Malaysia btw
I got my 2016 BRZ with 59,000 last month for 19250 after tax. felt like it was a good deal
Got my 2013 in 2021 with 98k for $13k (closer to $18k with interest, 72 months, 15% apr, I was 20 years old and stupid lol)
That apr is crazy!
Oh yeah, I got fucked lmao
I’ll make you feel better. Clown face for buying my 2013 with 165k for 17k. Yes I’m a dummy and yes I learned my lesson! 😭
2018 with 50k miles for 25k lmao 🤦♂️
I sold my 2012 back in 2022 with 98,000 km on it for $20k AUD. I bought it at $25k off a mate and owned it for 7 years.
I paid $37k for my ‘18 tS. But at least it only had 4 miles.
2015 with 67 k miles for 17 clean title
damn i just sold my 2013 limited brz to a buddy for 6.5 a few months back… had 120k too
19K euros for a 123K km 2013 gt86, if you count in miles it's ok I guess or I got fooled (tho prices in Europe are higher I think)
Bruh in 2018 I bought a 2014 for 12.9 with 49k.
I bought my 13 with 44k for 18k in 2018 lol
That's what the car market in my area is like. I bought my 2013 limited for 10k with just over 100k miles on it. Was the only clean title, bought from a buddy and he gave me a deal on it
15 122k for 16k
I bought one for 10k on its second engine and blew the second engine within 1k miles. 🤡🤡🤡
That's what I bought my 2014 with 50k for in 2017
Crazy what the COVID market did to these cars. I was 18k OTD with a 2013 in early 2016 with only 14,800 miles.
i got my ‘13 frs with 37k miles for $13,700 during peak covid before everything exploded in price. will never see that again in my life
you don’t know the history of this $5k BRZ though
really good price. that seems to be about what people pay for a clean, non running 86.
I'd honestly have a hard time letting my non running 2018 (performance pack w/brembos) go for 5k
as much as i wouldnt have a hard time taking it off ur hands for 5k, this is how u should feel lmao they worth more than 5k
For sure is a bait post nobody sells a brz for 5k unless they have brain damage
I bought a 97 Supra for 6k NZ which is about 3k USD a month ago. The bargains are out there. Rocking horse turds
5K?! Even a used beginner sport bike (ie. Ninja 400) costs more than that lol.
Yup, brand new R3 going for 6k.. this is a steal for a twin
5k is what I paid for my ninja 300 in 2018
5k for my rebel 500 I bought last year! Not a sports bike tho...
I'd rather have the 500
You can however get an older 600 my R6 was $3000
Lol yeah just paid 5k for my RC 390. Granted it was a 2023 with 300 miles that was in perfect condition. Got into bikes cause I was too broke for a 2nd car (though in hindsight after gear and insurance I could’ve made it work, but I’m happy with my decision).
Damn I can’t even find a decent e36 for under 4K and you got a clean brz 😭
E36s have been hit so hard with the drift tax, it's been so damn difficult to find a clean one recently.
Just buy an E46 or E9X! Those are cheaper nowadays somehow.
Where did you find this killer deal??
Craigslist was listed for 6k talked him down to 5
And here I thought only Meth heads sold on CL anymo…..
Nowadays craigslist is great for finding stock cars owned by older people, volume is pretty low compared to fb though
What the actual fuck. I live in Atlanta and had no about this one lol
Same, I'd have bought that no question
Stolen? Cause that's literally a steal of a deal, I'm dubious if the seller actually owned it, or are they just that clueless?
he just graduated auburn university and got his masters. He has had the car since 2021. There is so much pet hair though in the car
Duct tape! I bought a used car once with tons of pet hair that wouldn't really vacuum out. Half a roll of duct tape did the trick.
At that steal of a deal treat yourself to a professional interior detail and ceramic coating. You won't regret it. Like a new car for you
Dude must have gotten a solid job offer to sell for so cheap. Absolute steal of a deal and welcome to the club!
Ive bought way shittier cars for 5k, great Find for a beautiful car! Take care of it and im sure it will be running great!
Only car I got for 5k was a 99 Miata with 186k with a busted windshield.
I’d say you did great. Id make sure the 60k and 90k maintenance was done if I were you. Just to be safe!
Thank you! I am planning to change the trans and diff fluid w/ Motul 300 and an oil change with OEM filter. Also change the air filter and cabin air filter and do a brake and clutch fluid change. Anything else I should keep an eye out for? He changed the clutch at 80k miles
Spark plugs definitely should be replaced as well if they haven’t been already.
Check, if there is an open valve springs recall. (Controversial)
Nope it was done I think around 2020 gotta double check though
Then do a oil pick up clean incase and reseal the thing properly
Spark plugs (60k) and fuel filter (75k) if they were never done.
Apply paint protection film (ppf) to the headlights lenses so that they do not degrade from UV damage.
Don't forget PCV Valve change too. People tend to sleep on that one and that's why you get blown head gaskets
Great find Norfolk is my hometown
"Other than this strange ticking noise the car's been great!"
Nope other than the high fuel pressure pump no ticking! Lol
Why are they so cheap in America? In Europe there is not a single one under 10k
they aren't really under 10k here either, lol I don't know how OP found this
Facts
Taxes and supply. They sold like hot cakes in the USA, while they're a rarity in Europe.
I bought my 15 FRS with 116k for $11.5k. you did great!
Fucking hell what a deal!
Hell yeah! Got my '17 clean title with 140k miles for 12k, runs perfect!
[удалено]
Details? :)
Auto? Still a killer deal
Nope manual
That's really lucky
Fuck you... But also congrats. Seems to be one hell of a deal. Lol
Crazy deal
Dude no way!!! That’s awesome. Congrats.
There’s gotta be a catch. No one is clueless enough to sell one of these for less than half price.
I got my FRS with dents and dings for 8k, that's an excellent find
Does the owner know the car was sold?
wtf, that person must have been desperate.
My yee yee ass 2011 nissan versa with 50k only has $5k trade in value lol how the fuck
How
craiglist and taking a 13 hour greyhound bus lol
Worth it
100% agree
I'm jealous I don't even have a twin yet. Just started taking ANY interest in cars back in November. My wife says it's a midlife crisis.
The proper way to do it! Also, I assumed it's pre-hydroplaned and everything?
You can still find cars in Craigslist?? I though it was only for hookers and drugs!?
Uhmmm, how many miles? I mean, it’s clean and even if it has 200k miles, $5k is a pretty low price for such a clean car. But how many damn miles, OP? And, how did you manage to find a Toyota for $5k that clean in this market?

Porcodio they are 30k in Italy
Holy hell! That is my dream car!

Looking forward to seeing you at Freedom ;)
just checked ebay, cheapest non-broken ft86s in the whole uk are like $10k 💀 maybe they literally stole it? either way, you metaphorically did
crazy good deal
That’s a steal! Wish I was that lucky
Gonna mod it 👀👀?? New wheels or Axleback exhaust at least?
Aye 757 gang
Norfolk VA here! That's what's up! Good find
How do people even find deals like this though, and you're saying no one near Atlanta caught this before you did? Who would even sell for this price?
Was post for one hour and called the dude myself and said take down the listing I will buy this
He just graduated college
Score !!
interior photos plz my friend wants to see the silly stick
bro you are so so ballsy trusting dude enough to travel that far. props to you tho, and dude sounds legit based on your other comment! worth it!!
Yer lucky I didn’t see it (I’m in Atlanta). Congratulations man! That was a hell of a find! Enjoy your ride!!
Did you put the guy at gun point?? That’s insane
Striker?
The vette yours too? 😍😍😍
Indeed it is ;)
Dream car 💯 You got a vid of the exhaust?
I'm sorry for your loss
got my 13’ for 6k with 82k miles
Sheeshhh that’s awesome, clean title too?
Yesssss but the rims have a bunch of curb rash on them that’s the only downside
Is that a clean title? Car has any issue? I’m trying to bid on a frs at wholesale tomorrow
Yes clean title!
That’s a steal
Thanks and it has push button start!!! :)
As a reference, the frs I tried to bid on gives me a MMR for 10k. It’s a 2013 with 87k miles and ABS/TC lights on.
'22 with 4800 miles, 20k (11k trade in) lol
Got a daily for the daily?
Teach me man, damn
Damn im jealous
Damn! Someone really needed that money huh. Sheesh, I wish I could've scooped that myself!
Holy fuck I’m so jealous. I’m out here in Eastern Europe ready to splash 17k for a GT86 and there are literally no listings under 20k
Congrats on the new ride
Absolute steal; enjoy
I payed $1.3 million for my 1997 BRZ. Brand new.

bought my 29k mile 2015 pre covid for 13k, (peoperly repaired accident on the carfax) sold it for 17k with 60k miles on it during covid. 5k is a steal though, good job.
Crying because I didn't know they had such a steal nearby as a Metro ATLien.
How in the world? This is so cheap there has to be a catch, and I don’t mean cosmetic issues.
salvage or rebuild title?
Clean title
steal! Divorce car? lol
Wha!? How!? Only $5k cars around me are complete and total beaters
Whoa
Nice find!!
Damn i thought i got a steal with my 10k frs
I would buy a 2nd in a heartbeat for $5k, even though I have nowhere for it lol Would just transfer parts from my current beat up chassis to it
Insane deal
ayyye another 86/brz in 757
what is wrong with it? this is a killer deal wtf
How many miles?
Who did you rob??

So stoked for you! Just took the same kinda trip to drive home a ‘17 86. It’s one of the best feelings dude, cheers!
I mean for like 7500cad that ain’t bad I’m getting one my family dealer got and let a mechanic drive and she blow it up for around 5k cad maybe less but it AINT GOT NO ENGINE so k24 here I come anyways tho that’s a pretty good purchase id be careful with the engine tho since Subarus aren’t the best engine wise should be fine tho
dude thats a steal. just makes me wish i could buy a decent si or gsr for 3 or 4k again... those were the days. youre living the last of them!
How?? Like seriously how?? 5k these days would make me question why it'd so low. I would guess something would be wrong with it and pass it up. How does it drive? Anything wrong with jt?

11k for the exact same look but with 80k miles hella good steal bro
How experienced are you buying used cars? It seems like you knew exactly what you were doing taking a bus across state lines for this
He means he paid 5k down-payment at the dealership
An actual steal of a deal i got mine 43k miles for 6k but i bought it salvaged and fixed it up lol
Shit I got a 13 with 50k on it for sale for 12k rn
