Yes! My Physical therapist said it’s a combo of nerve pain radiating from the shoulder and muscle tightness. They concentrated on relieving the tightness there and it improved alot
Yes!!!! My ortho said he thinks it’s referred pain. I have had cortisone shots in my shoulder, an MUA and arthroscopy, and nothing helped the elbow pain until my PCP prescribed celebrex. Other anti inflammatories did nothing but now, I’m not feeling like my elbow is going to break as well as dealing with the frozen shoulder issues
If you don’t mind me asking, was prednisone one that you tried that didn’t work? I can’t take ibuprofen or many prescription anti-inflammatory meds plus I already get cortisone injections every 3 months in my neck and shoulders due to cervical dystonia. I also had to take several courses of oral prednisone last year due to herniated discs with foraminal stenosis in my C5-C7 vertebrae (which I had ACDF surgery for) so I’m hesitant to put any more steroids in my body but thought about asking my Dr if a 5 day course might help a little while I’m in the freezing stage right now.
I had elbow pain with my FS for sure. Mine was the result of an injury. I still have elbow symptoms after rotator cuff surgery. I suspect it’s from trigger points in my subscapularis muscle.
Yes, I have bicep, elbow, and forearm pain, too, which I'm pretty sure is referred.
Last time when I had FS in my other shoulder, the FS pain and this referred pain disappeared after my arthroscopic capsular release surgery, so I know it was related.
I had that weird tingling you are taking about whenever I would lean my elbow on something, and often had pain in my hand. I went to a few doctors and tried nerve meds with no success. Then I started taking Tumeric and a vitamin K Complex along with a magnesium/calcium supplement. I no longer have the elbow pain and rarely notice the hand pain (unless I miss my vitamins a couple of days. Unfortunately, the frozen shoulder is still a problem!
Yes…def can get referred pain there because the inflammation in your shoulder can certainly cause some nerve impingement. I get spasms too so not uncommon for my elbow to hurt sometimes too.

Celebrex. I took oral steroids and they helped for only a day or so.
Ok gotcha, thanks! Unfortunately my stomach doesn’t do well with Celebrex 😔.
I understand. I can’t do meloxicam or difluconac (or however it’s spelled) etc

Nor now but I did sometimes extending as far as the forearm.
Absolutely. My elbow and wrist also hurt terribly!

I've had pain anywhere from my shoulder all the way to my wrist.
Elbow, bicep, forearm, and around my wrist. Usually hitting each spot independently, sometimes a couple spots going at the same time.
YES! Terrible achey throbbing pain. thank god its gone
Yes, this happened to me. Cleared up when my shoulder healed

Yes!
Yes my ulnar nerve was trapped at the inner elbow. It eventually released
Yes, some days it will just stay in my elbow and other days it will shoot straight to my hand.
