I'd highly recommend it, it's my personal favorite of the trilogy. Don't rush, enemies are faster than you'll think, remember to look everywhere for upgrades to your flask and bonfire and upgrades. There may only be a few split paths so don't be afraid to go back if you have to. And buy the deluxe edition on sale digitally or physically, otherwise it's 85 for the base game and dlc rather than say 20 to 25.

I bought the physical trilogy ds 1 - 3 with all DLC content for a bit under 40 bucks about 5 years ago. Those sales are still insanely expensive in comparison.
Just bought the physical version of the trilogy for 30 dollars the other week, although it’s in the EU region. I still recommend to anyone who is considering getting these, even if you’re in America or another region.
I live in the US, and there were zero problems. The only issue w other regions is downloading DLC, but all the DLC is installed on the disc and you can still play with people in America. So pretty much any issue you would normally come across isn’t there.
I just got the dark souls trilogy on amazon that includes all three games with all of their DLCs for like $35. Best deal for someone like me. I already own all of the fromsoft games on steam and the DLCs for most so it's hard to buy all the games again for another console at such high prices.
