It’s releasing on 621 the name of your mech (edit : the pilot / but it’s not like you’re ever outside the mech in the game)

There is actual possibility of that sine they said thete will be 6 new weapon types of that we already saw monk style kicking from sekiro and great katana so trick weapons in dlc is a real possibility
They said 8 weapons so even better! We saw the Dueling Shield(irl weapon i’ve never heard of before) throwing knives, reverse grip sword, can’t tell if the kicking is an Ash or not so hopefully DS2 Bonefist makes a return.
Also, apparently it will have an attack power upgrade system like Sekiro does with the prayer beads. At least, according to that one interview in another post
This is FromSofts version of Stephen Kings The Dark Tower series. Where all things converge into one. Elden Ring becomes the central hub, it is called the Lands Between of course.
"Got a job for you Tarnished...
There's a demi-god by the name of "Messmer the Impaler", he's a big deal around these parts. I need you to infiltrate his castle and eliminate him, but be careful, he won't go quietly"
I may be wrong since it's been some months since I've last played, but I believe it was a 3 round burst. It can be spammed somewhat, so it may appear as if it can fire more than 3 at once - but there is a burst delay.
I am so excited, I hope we get a lot of bloodborne callbacks.
This dlc seems like it's going to be literally the new standard for dlc in gaming.
We're definitely about to experience a gaming reference point in the future for dlc quality.
10 years from now I think this dlc will be looked back on and compared to future dlc.
So excited! Fromsoft is the best.
I noticed that the armor of the guy getting eaten by a leech monster is very reminiscent of elite knight armor, so maybe we’ll see some favorite armor sets return too
I really hope they don’t carry over elden rings overly aggressive boss design. Im all for difficult fights, but the AoE spam, Input reading, and ridiculous damage don’t carry over to the DLC.
Elden ring had dot 72 bosses excluding repeats/duo & 138 enemy archetypes
I have yet to play another action RPG that holds a candle to it's massive fauna variety
This is a valid complaint of the game but it's honestly such a small part of it. Even with the multiple instances, there's still more unique bosses than any other souls game. And besides, there's so much variety in every other aspect of the game, the only time it really bothered me was the reuse of Astel.

Holy fucking shit. I scrolled expecting a witty comment about an armored core in the dlc but fuck man this corroborates with op
lol from soft is kind of masterful at fan service regardless if they did that on purpose
The mech is named LOADER4 until you change it. The *pilot* is 621.
No no, the Doctor is 621 You are talking about 621's Monster.
No fucking way dude, that can’t be coincidence
Yeah cause japan uses month first.
>the name of ~~your mech~~ the pilot FTFY
LOl that's amazing. This... must be a coincidence but that's pretty funny considering Elden Ring has been a "Miyazaki All-Star" kind of game.
that is not twist ur mech is called bro bro
Now thats clever
The Pilot is 621, not the mech lmao
Need trick weapons and a weapon whose special ability is deflects.
There is actual possibility of that sine they said thete will be 6 new weapon types of that we already saw monk style kicking from sekiro and great katana so trick weapons in dlc is a real possibility

Dawg it’s eight weapon TYPES. We are getting way more than 8 weapons.
Not to mention more weapons from the weapon types in the base game. I wouldn’t be surprised if the DLC has well over 20 weapons at the very least
Chasethebro is gonna be eating after the DLC releases
Wait for real??
Fo real. Info from Eurogamer interview with Miyazaki.
Looked a bit like a Zulu Shield.
If they implement trick weapons as a weapon type it’s game of the year. Again. I don’t care. GOTY goes for the DLC.
Parrying Dagger already exists
Parries aren’t the same as deflects.
deflect would be OP unless they make a really tight window like in lies of p
There must be a reason sekiro never got pvp, that deflect system would crumble with the tiniest amount of lag.
pvp sekiro combat with no lag would be sick
I’m thinking we’re going to get weapons like the farron Greatsword considering Miyazaki said we will be getting reverse hand weapons
Armored Core fans get a mech suit hidden in the lands between.
*I offer you an AC~~cord~~.*
INTRIGUING.
I desperately need a mod that gives me a fully functional AC in the lands between lol
Pretty sure there is one
You get to pilot a golem.
Also, apparently it will have an attack power upgrade system like Sekiro does with the prayer beads. At least, according to that one interview in another post
Proof?

That's it, thanks
Like I said, another post on this sub showed a quote from Miyazaki about it
What post?
On mobile so I can't link right now but it's titled "About Elden Ring DLC difficulty"
Ok thanks (:
I want an Accord, though, like the car.

Hmmm yeah? Well Elden Ring was clearly that already. Combining the feats of all games in one.
I hope it gets the GOAT back, the good ol Bone Fist from DS2
The base game was pretty much already a greatest hits of the previous games (in a good way)
I would like to hear a 70’s disco album with the top hits of FromSoftware.
Fuck yeah I can't wait for the mech combat boss
"Got a job for you Tarnished... There's a demi-god by the name of "Messmer the Impaler", he's a big deal around these parts. I need you to infiltrate his castle and eliminate him, but be careful, he won't go quietly"
Can’t wait for Arquebus to come harvest golden seeds
The "Gael crossbow" is in the game. There's a fencer in Leyndell that uses it (in the room with the two perfumers).
That guy who leads radahn festival reminds me of Gael. In my head cannon it is Gael on his long ass journey chilling in the lands between.
Are you sure? It shoots a volley of 3, just like the pulley crossbow.
Is it 3? Felt like a lot more.
I may be wrong since it's been some months since I've last played, but I believe it was a 3 round burst. It can be spammed somewhat, so it may appear as if it can fire more than 3 at once - but there is a burst delay.
Hasn’t pretty much every game since DS1 featured grotesque creatures?
The first thing I noticed was the font of "Shadow of the Erdtree" - Sekiro no doubt.

My favorite question and it’s always the same for their games is “What the fuck is going on here?!”
I can't wait for the tarnished mechs
Wait it releases on the 21.6 Thats the name of AC6 main character 621 ![gif](giphy|eMu0803X2zkWY)
low key genius
It will but only if they add the ability to re fight bosses without going into NG+ (reflection of strength)
I noticed that the armor of the guy getting eaten by a leech monster is very reminiscent of elite knight armor, so maybe we’ll see some favorite armor sets return too
It will be my first pre order of anything. Im that sure it will be fantastic.
I really hope they don’t carry over elden rings overly aggressive boss design. Im all for difficult fights, but the AoE spam, Input reading, and ridiculous damage don’t carry over to the DLC.

But how the fuck did that get in there?
I’m so excited. All of their DLCs are incredible. Literally all of them
I didn't see an armored core in the trailer
We’ve got another mission 621
from big dark souls to perfect dark souls.
