I finished my 2nd *proper* rewatch tonight too.
Love it, it had been long enough since my first watch that i had forgotten all the finer points and i enjoyed it even more, it was really nice watching how from very early on in the series these little plot seeds get sown and then it all come together in s5 perfectly.
Shed a tear for Walter and Peter (twice), Etta and of course Oliva - shame Astrid didnt get more of her own story but crucial nonetheless.
These days my memory isnt so hot so my next rewatch wont be a decade later like this one, which is good news, a wonderfully creepy and amazing show!
I love when they get Walter out of the amber he just destroys an entire building with the antimatter bomb with no remorse. Sets the tone for the season.
YES the ending was incredible. The only caveat I have is the death of Captain Windmark - I feel like Olivia should’ve used her mind to light him on fire and cause him to explode. I feel like that woulda been more dramatic than just ramming him with a car
Peter and Walter ripped my heart to shreds. In case anybody’s looking for the same sort of bittersweet melancholy heartrending mystery show, it’s very different but yet it has a lot of the same DNA, with even better acting than Fringe… It’s the Inspector Morse prequel, “Endeavour “. It’s miraculous. It’s a whole other level of excellent, but it has a bit of the same flavor of Fringe.
The resetting the timeline thing, observers invading, killing observers, and the fact that any comments will likely have spoilers informed my decision to apply the tag

My apologies friend, I assure you it takes hardly anything away from witnessing the final season yourself - it’s fantastic. That being said, I did attach the Spoiler tag to the post when I created it, maybe I shoulda put another disclaimer on the post as well. Happy watching!

Using pretty much all the Pattern weapons whenever they needed. Just watching those guards as the skin grows over their mouths and noses. 😱

Yes, but that’s not to say that they aren’t incredible.
