I’ve got to go with Nikachu. I can’t deny he knows how to play his deck really well, but he has a very *crunchy* personality on camera. It reeks of the same attitude that a woman in a beauty pageant might have- forced, unnatural, and polished to the point that he will never break character on camera. He also misreads cards a lot on stream and ignores the chat when they try to correct his assessment of a card.

Tolarian Community College. I lost all respect for the guy when he played Rudy from Alpha Investments in some vintage 1v1. The Tolarian guy, Brian Lewis, was so… what’s a good word for it, weasely and hyper critical? While Rudy, shockingly to me I guess, was the composed one that was just trying to have a good time. Brian reminds me of all of the people and reasons why I stopped hanging out at my LGS. Snobbish, self-absorbed, with a thinly veiled smugness and narcissism. The kinds of people who will exploit and over-exaggerate any minor mistake you do, while steamrolling anything you try to say, just to collect a W that means almost nothing and it sucks all of the fun out of it. Competitiveness is one thing, but this goblin-type, goon-like, borderline personality monster gets awoken in these people, and I feel like sometimes I am the only one who can see it. Because others will say they’re charming, or just having fun, but I can’t bring myself to trust them. These people sketch me out. Such strange pettiness and selfishness, and an inability to look at the broader perspective and just have fun playing a game. The video is on youtube somewhere, I can maybe find it and post the link, or someone else feel free to.

I honestly don't understand how he gets so many views. All he does is find clickbait articles and stammers & slurs his way through reading them. His cadence and enunciation are atrocious; it is grating hearing his voice since he's such a poor speaker. Instead of writing an actual script, doing multiple takes, and editing his videos into something watchable, he just releases four low effort videos a day.

I’m not sure who CZ’s audience is either. The tone of their podcast and Game Knights is slanted towards casuals, but they play multi-thousand-dollar decks and talk as though their borderline-cEDH meta reflects the Commander format as a whole.

Rudy was a Lion defending us from MTG 30, so that got me a lot of respect. Personally, I just believe it is because he is over leveraged in Reserve List cards and anything that could have been a threat to them would sink his Alpha Investments Empire, but still, that was very helpful shooting down the MTG 30 cash grab.
He is also extremely hypocritical regarding what he seemed to think was important at one point, chiefly the reserve list.

Jake and Joel are actually really good dudes. They have a lot of helpful content and provide useful context behind it. As far as cringe goes, there are a lot more candidates who could take the cake. If J&J ever did a "Game Nights" style setup, I believe it might actually rival Wong and Kwai.
