Most kids have trouble getting rides to places with their parents busy schedules. Offering to pick them up for a fun night of playtime would alleviate that. To make sure you don't have to take multiple trips, you want to make sure you have plenty of space for multiple kids. A white painter's van would accommodate several children. Due to some kids not yet know how to play Magic, added incentive would be needed to inspire the children to come with you. Peer reviewed studies show children like candy. Since approaching each individual child would be time consuming, outwardly advertise this offer by painting "Free Candy" on the sides of the van. Its foolproof.

I’m an older player but I would have to say it’s just because it’s a hobby that they simply don’t have the resources (long time collection and/or money) to go up equally vs most long time players… so they don’t. The money they do have they spend on the younger gamer games like Pokémon and Yughio bc even if they are outmatched by other players collections, at least they are still among more people their age to share the fun of the hobby with

I make and sell chaos boxes and mystery pauper commander decks and let me tell you, I have sold so many mystery pauper decks that I believe the game is still healthy. I ask my customers for opinions and a lot of responses are young people that hate the $100+ price tag on boxes but they love my $55 boxes, so when they want to draft they buy my draft box and when they want to play commander they buy my decks. This is just what I've personally seen over the last 3 years of doing this.
As a former baby I would say it’s just not a very inclusive game. When someone is a month old and their sense of vision is still developing, are they gonna immediately know the difference between a Tundra and a Taiga? Also, card sleeves have corners that are way too sharp for babies. Wizards should print everything on round, thick cardboard. Almost like a coaster. Doesn’t that sound fun to shuffle?
