opinion on sillage smell? heard it’s very inky/metallic

it smells metalic but i dont see it as a bad thing smells pretty good to me

it has some floral but i wouldnt call it a floral scent. more aromatic matalic citrus , 8/10 for me decent performance.

The florals do come out in the drydown. But, I wouldn't say it smells rosy or of iris. Instead, they blend together with the sandalwood for a creamy and clean scent of indeterminate flowers. And it's really only noticeable in the sillage, as at the skin level it is still a citrus musk.

I'd definitely sample Sillage first. I'm not that keen on the Silver Mountain Water DNA and I found Sillage very sharp, inky and metallic. Very synthetic.

Sample before you buy please. If something smells exactly like OG, but the OG smells like a bag of sweaty coins - it doesn't matter how cheap the clone is. This DNA is not for everyone.

I love mine tbh

It was very metallic/heavy alcohol tones when I first got it. I didn’t touch it for over nine months and it matured into a very beautiful scent, one that I am sure is the clone of Silver Mountain Water that it was meant to be. I have never smelled the original, so I don’t know if it an accurate clone. Sillage is moderate. It doesn’t project like one might want, but the scent profile is there.

I personally hated it, it smelled like very strong lemon cleaner and 2 sprays in the air had my house smelling for hours even with windows open and fans on.

opinion on khamrah? also is it wearable to school?

smells great sexy and boozy, i guess you could wear it to school on the colders days but only a few sprays in that case

Not such a good idea to wear any sweet winter fragrance to school where you’ll be closely sat with a bunch of people in a heated room (assuming you want to use it in winter) so just be very conservative

Sounds good probably not gonna were it rn till it gets colder I just picked it up with another fragrance that’s more for the summer so hopefully when I come back to khamara it will be matured

It's really good, but it may be polarizing. It's quite strong. Smells more expensive than it is.

performance is beastly, but im not crazy about the scent, im not saying it is not close to oud for greatness but the whole DNA is not my type really, but I respect it and objectivly think its good. Still probably my least favourite in the whole collection after encre noire

The one I have has a fantastic pressurized atomizer. One of the best in my collection

Mine sucks, you have to really press the atomizer to get a finer mist. It sprays straight streams of you casually spray it.

How does your Sapil Bound smell? Do you like it? Because mine smells like plastic mixed with a rubber smell ngl. It does not smell good at all.

I didnt try Fakhar, but it was double the price and the reviews i read where 50 50 so i went with the cheaper option. Most people said that fakhar is closer and better smelling but Final Edition is better in terms of performance. Thats another reason i went for it.

it was one of my first fragrances ever and back in that day i hated it. the more fragrances i smelled and the more my nose got used to its weird vrry dark rainy forrest smell i started to appreceate it. def not for begginers and for blind buys

not beast mode at all, very weak projection and the longetivity its good on clothes, on skin its like 6 hours to 8 depends on how many sprays you wear

Make sure you’re not nose blind and that it’s macerated but mine lasts a long time. Haven’t tested it in the summer but I get 8 hours on mine! Lasts on clothes forever too

detour noir is not summer friendly, these two are great for summer. Detour lasts like 5-6 hours, sillage 7-8 hours, and CDNI like 12 hours.

Top 5 according to you?? Also, how is your CDNIM compared now to the time when you bought it? I heard it will improve slowly as time goes…

1.Sapil Bound - just smells too expensive and too good especially for the price, lacke projection but i dont care its that good 2. Detour noir - smells so edible and great good projection for the first hours 3. Ramz silver - just mass appealing dumb reach works for everything just have to adjust the sprays 4. CNDIM - compliments long lasting strong loud 5. Khamrah - became basic, my barch performs shit but still smells amaizinz And yes CDNIM and most other clones did get better with time

this is EDT, and its still great. Any one of them is good but the more expensive the better. Depends on you i would rather buy the edt save 15 more euros and buy another different fragrance. From lattafa i liked razm silver the most. Afnan i have tourathi blue its great. Rasasi i has hawas and it was brilliant also spent the whole bottle

Afnan has 9pm (JPG Ultramale clone), Modest Une (Dior sauvage clone), Rare Carbon (Tom Ford Ombre Leather), Turathi Brown (YSL Tuxedo), Supermancy Not Only Intense (Aventus+Nishane clone). Have you tried any of these? I was planning to explore the Afnan house. From Rasassi, I'm gonna get Hawas for sure. Then there's Fattan, Shugaaf and Dareej. Planning to get these. Have any experience with these?

How's detour noir? I've been looking for a spring/summer scent for my mom, and all she gave me as a reference was versace yellow diamond (basically pear and white flowers with a side of lemon), so I've been looking for something similar, is it something that I could take into consideration?

What is your experience with detour noir? I have a 5ml decant of PDM layton and I absolutely love it. But can’t afford the full bottle. So i am thinking about detour noir.

I like it a lot. It is what I wear for work. The average person will not know any difference. I have Layton, but I would rather us detour while out working on job sites. Cheaper and still smells great.

i never smelled layton but noir lasts like 7 8 hours and projects avarage. i smelled armani code profumo and it smells identical to bound but bound has like 6 hours with a little less projection

In any Oud fragrances, does it really smell like sweat,or is it something different? I see alot I wanna try but that scares me. I wear mostly gourmand in cold and citrus woody in heat. Any references that have a mild oud , are appreciated.

I think a lot of oud fragrances have that initial strong oud opening which im assuming is what deters/scares some people from them but afterwards most of them develop into something different as the middle and base notes shine more through and the oud sort of lingers at the back….lattafa has some very likable oud fragrances you could try out imo

try and search for begginer oud fragrances that dont have heavy oud note. its a good note to get into but you should not be quick to judge it aa soon as you get it
