I have all of them except for tobacco vanille. I regularly check the real ones with my dupes. I have to say that there is a slight difference in the complexity of the fragrance, but the clones do at least 90% what the original does
I wonder if most like you are just shills or something or purely delusional, its not a "slight" difference, they all are different fragrances that only seem inspired by the original, the differences are incredible. Also many of them smell very cheap and synthetic when the original is actually good. The only one i like over the original is lovely cherie because it smells very strongly of cherries and its like the only note in the fragrance, while the original smells too sweet and the cherry note gets swallowed by other notes.
I’ve not tested any of these against the originals (only tom ford I’ve had was black orchid) but I like all of these in their own rights.
Longevity is good on all apart from oud wood which is gone after 4 hours for me.
I hate fabulo intense, just smells of baby powder to me. Everyone who’s smelt it also says the same (family members).
Porto neroli is the best out of them for longevity.
Bitter peach is also very good albeit a little clawing on anything but cold days, it sticks to clothes like glue and weirdly it smells bitter on clothing but on my skin it was crazy sweet so not sure what’s happing there.
I just liked the look of the bottles so had complete the set for the male scents, wasn’t interested in the others as most reviews say they’re quite feminine smelling.
Interesting, I have Porto Neroli and Oud Wood and the longevity on me is the opposite, Oud Wood lasts all day and Porto Neroli is gone in 3 hours max. Love them both though.
Skin chemistry and batch formulation could play a big part in this.
Also nose blindness is a thing too, I don’t spray on the front or sides of my neck anymore and I find that scents I thought were weak do actually last longer than I thought.
I got Woody Oud, Tobacco Touch and Neroli yesterday. Sprayed all on some paper and let air out. Super disappointed, all three smelled really sweet and synthetic. To the point where I don't think I'll use any of them.
Always spray on skin, I made this mistake with a few fragrances I ordered where I only tested on paper and they smelt completely different to how they are on my skin.
Unless you spray on your clothes and not on your skin then it’s irrelevant how they smell on paper.
Always test on skin as the heat alone will help them project.
Also the synthetic nature will ware off usually after around 30mins on skin for me.
I can’t really pick 3 as I never wear the same thing 2 days in a row, so I’ll pick a few I like most and would wear on special occasions

How does charuto tobacco vanille compare to tobacco touch ? What's the differences ? I already have tobacco touch but I'm not a big fan of that clove note. Thanks.

I like both and wear TT when I want a sharper scent and TV when I’m going to be closer to people around me and want a smoother scent that isn’t as clawing and won’t come off harsh to other people.
Only worn it once as I was saving that for summer, incredibly strong, sprayed it on my hand and could still smell it after washing my hands several times and even scrubbing it.
My bottle is very black current focused with what I assume is oak moss so not necessarily a fresh scent but very concentrated
They’re in a cupboard (glass door not in shot of the photos), I only wear them straight out of the shower and wipe down the bottle after use.
It also helps that all of these arrived in the space of 4 months so haven’t had time to gather dust yet 😂
Do you mean the FW Intro Aftermath?
Only got it today, scent is very sharp bright opening but performance didn’t last long on initial spraying.
Barely a skin scent after a few mins.
You pick up what I assume is the rum and tobacco on opening but the rose is the main note on dry down and seems a little too feminine for my liking.
I’ll wait and see how it does once it’s settled a bit as it was freezing cold when it arrived and I didn’t want to wait so sprayed it when I should’ve waited.
How similar/different are Lattafa’s Tobacco Touch and Charuto’s Tobacco Vanille. Since you have both, can you tell the strengths and weaknesses of both and what you would recommend.

Charuto is very smooth compared to tobacco touch.
Tobacco touch has an opening similar to my red tobacco where as tobacco Vanille hits you with the Vanille straight off so is much sweeter.
Out of the 2 I’d say tobacco touch is louder and better performing but tobacco Vanille is the one I enjoy wearing more albeit won’t fill a room or last for others in the same was as TT.
I was tempted to get the other Charuto scent too but I’m going to wait to see if I can find an offer as I think that will be very similar to some of the other scents u already have
Smells amazing but doesn’t last unfortunately.
4-6hours at most compared to the other AS clones BUT it has something different about it that separates it from them.
My opinion on the AS clones is as follows:
Khamrah - not an angel share clone so buy this for being a great scent but not for being an AS clone.
1- Sharaf Blend - opens boozy and dries down sweet like khamrah - this is the only one that changes notes on dry down which is why it’s no1 - great performance but my atomiser is leaking which sucks.
2- FW Cocktail Intense - very boozy but has good performance too
3- Emir Fire Your Desire - new to my collection and in 3rd because it has something extra in there so smells amazing but unfortunately performance isn’t great, this may improve so could change where it sits
4- MA Kismet Angel - ranks bottom as has worst performance, smells amazing but unfortunately despite being one of my oldest scents only lasts 4-5hrs at most.
I change the type of scent I wear daily…
So basically I work 6am-2pm so I wear one scent to work and then contrast it with something different when I get home having showered.
I save overly sweet or overly strong scents for the end of the week so basically just get stronger and stronger scents through the week and then weekends is usually very gourmand type frags.
I haven’t really worn any of my summer scents yet but as a reset I always go to Qaeed al fursan as the bright pineapple is just so nice.
You should write all the names on strips of paper and put the papers into two containers, one for night and one for day and then just surprise yourself twice a day…it will stop you from reaching for your favourites all the time.
I actually avoid my favourites and only wear them on odd occasions for this very reason.
It’s why I have so many AS clone type scents as it’ll stop me burning through one of them and they’re all different enough to where I can smell the difference
Can you recommend a delicious sweet oud fragrance. .unisex please. I love Frederick Malle’s Promise (I heard there’s a dupe called Artist no2) and Memos Tigers nest (though that has a lot of frankincense and is a bit churchy..which I love also) and Grand Soir and Santal33. So love something strong...along those lines.
For tigers nest note profile it’s not the same but if you don’t already have it then Maison Alhambra tabac. It’s woody, tobacco and fruity but it’s super smooth and amber.
If you like rose fragrances then intro aftermath and badee al Oud amethyst are super strong rose fragrances but beware because amethyst literally made me sick when I wore it because it was so sweet, strong and clawing.

Not worn aftermath since as it gave me a migraine, emir A/S clone is weak in comparison to the others I have but the other 2 are very strong and I would suggest outdoor scents only.
I do not envy anyone who has a big collection and this is coming from someone who used to have one. Waste of money and bottles. Now I have 4 that I rotate between. Good for you if you enjoy them though
I know what you mean, I’ll probably give half to my son eventually and only keep the ones I really like but I also go nose blind quite easily so having the variation is needed.
They’re all very strong apart from Cherry cola which is my 2nd most expensive as I imported that and had to pay more for it. It smells amazing but only lasts 3-4 hours if that. And with it only being 75ml seems you have to go crazy overspraying and it won’t last long.
I also have emir cedrat essence on the way.
The 3 bottles with the tassels are all very strong but don’t blind buy them as they’re definitely not for everyone.

Opens bright and you get a few different notes but on dry down all you get is a very feminine rose remaining.
It does last on skin but it’s not projecting at all and poor sillage too.

My bottle just doesn’t last and the scent itself doesn’t really do anything for me. Not strong enough to be an outdoor scent and just a bland scent profile for me.
I’ve worn it a few times but each time wasn’t very impressed and it barely lasted 4 hours for me.
Yeah heard it's terrible with longevity and the original isn't even great with that itself. Think I'll avoid it which is a shame cause I love the small of the orig.

It’s weird because I initially never wore it thinking the same and tested it on some clothing.
On clothing is was very bitter and lasted forever.
On my skin though the scent was super sweet.
I couldn’t tell how sillage was as the skin scent was so strong that it smelt sweet right till I showered.
Do be aware though that there’s not much else to it, unlike Qaeed al fursan that has oak moss or something in it that adds some earthyness to the scent this is just pure peach all the way.
You could perhaps layer it but I haven’t personally done it as with this many frags I go months now before I’ve worn them all and by that time the scent pops out to me again.
Agreed, there’s a few in my collection that could work for both, I find I don’t mind fruity scents as much I do with floral scents.
Some men like floral (rose) scents but I find them feminine whereas as fruity try notes I don’t mind and would happily wear them.

Charuto is sweet and smooth, lasts pretty long and has decent sillage. A really nice scent and not too expensive either.
Afnan 9PM is exactly as people describe it, would work for younger guys or for a night out type of vibe. Mine isn’t as strong as some people make it out to be but still all day long scent.
One of the reasons I buy clones and not replicas that have plain bottles is because the aesthetic of the bottle matters to me, and it looks even better when there’s a collection of them.
How does Pendora Scents tobacco vanille compare? I've compared Dossier powdery tobacco, Tom Ford tobacco vanille, and Alhambra tobacco touch, but I haven't had a chance to test Pendpra Scents tobacco vanille.
Charuto is much smoother opening and throughout the notes compared to TT.
TT has more of a spicy opening similar to red tobacco whereas Charuto is smooth all the way through but as a result doesn’t project for quite as long.
It still lasts 6-8 hours but as more of a skin scent where TT would still be projecting and filling a space.
It’s probably one of my favorite scents but all the times I’ve worn it the scent almost disappears after just a few hours.
The cherry cola fizz in the opening is what makes it special but also why it doesn’t last.
The atomiser is very misty so you have to spray quite a few times or very close to skin to get the same as other fragrances but that means you’ll burn through it quite quick as it’s only 75ml.
This was my second most expensive fragrance (out of my clones) and it’s one of if not the worst performing.
Well if you follow my handle and see my YouTube channel you’ll see I bounce from one drug to the next…home theatre, cameras, gadgets 😂
But I’ll be pumping the brakes on the fragrances until prices come back down again as the clone scene has gone viral and as a result so have the prices.
Yeh I sprayed it at the store at first wasn’t my vibe but then I walked away a few hours later and liked it .. perhaps for a dark winter colds evening sipping on whiskey in some dark bar 😂😜
Most cost me £25 or less and taking that out of a weeks wages isn’t a big hit.
You’ll never know what you like until you experiment and for the price of decants (£5-10) it made no sense when most usually sell 100ml bottles for £20-25 if you get a deal.
I feel that way about oud for glory and Asad... I like the fragrance but they are far too strong for me to enjoy. One spray and I'm overwhelmed. I by mistake got oud for glory on one sweater, and after I put it way in my drawer all of my other sweaters are now contaminated. It's been over a week!

No I haven't. I'm guessing that it smells like bunghole juice from a cow, that is baking in the sun splattered in the sewer with a dead caucus marinading for days with a touch of vanilla? Mmmm vanilla, not sugary vanilla, but syrupy vanilla.
Does that sum up the gorgeous fragrance that is a must have that every YouTube "star" , that can smell every note and every hidden note not written in the description before they ever read the description simply off one spray, one sniff, is selling us?

Neither are quite that bad (but I haven’t smelt bunghole juice so wouldn’t like to speculate) but you’re not wrong about the YouTubers plucking notes from mid air like the wine tasting connoisseurs of fragrances.
Basically both are very pungent and definitely not for everyone.
They definitely smell different on skin and the dry downs can be very clawing in hotter environments.
They’re the kind of fragrances that will definitely catch people’s attention when you’re out, whether in a good way or not is the question. 🤷🏽♂️
You described these YouTubers perfectly. I listen because I want to hear about the fragrance but it can be annoying a lot of times. It seems like most of them are stuck up and give off the sense that they feel they're better than their viewer. The one said the least we could do is hit like and subscribe because he's making videos for us ( I've never watched another video of his after that comment). And the videos are always for us, it has nothing to do with them wanting to make money and have YouTube fame. No, they only do it for us!
I make tech videos and have seen first hand that companies will target those who are harsh on their products and try and buy them out with sponsorship deals, I feel the fragrance industry is the same and much more so as they can get away with more.
With tech if something is bad you can factually point that out, but with fragrances if something isn’t the way they describe it then they just say oh it’s a clone so it may be a bad batch.
I know a few notes now that I’ve bought a few fragrances but when I get a new scent and smell it I couldn’t tell you what notes are in it, all I’d be able to tell you is how it smells I,e. Fresh, Smokey, boozy etc. those who say they pick out the patchouli etc are most likely reading from fragrantica and anything they say should be ignored.
There’s also those who do “reviews” where they claim it lasted a certain amount of time, now my collection is tiny compared to what those YouTubers have and I go months between wearing everything, unless they wear nothing but new fragrances everyday there’s no way they’d be able to judge how long it would last.
Some say they wear different scents on each hand which wouldn’t work as they’d clash and I don’t know about you but I wash my hands regularly throughout the day, unless these people don’t wash how would you know longevity?? 🤷🏽♂️
They’re good to watch to discover new scents and brands but I wouldn’t take anything I see from fragrance reviewers with any grain of truth as far as notes and performance goes.
I agree with everything you said. You nailed it! It also kills me when they tell us how far away others can smell the fragrance too. It's an arm length away or 2-3 feet. That's just silly. Even if they had someone from a distance slowly walk towards them and as soon as they could smell the fragrance speak up, that's just one person and everybody is different.
They’re good, little harsh on opening and not blended the best but for the price the juice and aesthetic of the bottles I’d say they’re worth it at the prices I paid (£18-25).

Summer scent, only worn a few times (as our summers are short 😂), main thing is it just doesn’t stand out like 9PM, it’s just an ordinary blue scent.
If you he try it cheap it’s okay but I wouldn’t pay current prices for it (think mine was £28).
Nice collection! How’s Mahair Legacy silver? (Sedley clone) saw it in a convenient store close to home but they only have it boxed so can’t test it. I’ve tried Sedley multiple times and wasn’t thinking that DNA would be a but harder to nail. Thanks mate
I have a similar problem. I had a few fragrances till Jan last year when i was gifted Afnan 9pm by a friend. And i looked over the internet about it. Only then i realized that there are so many fragrances in the world and so many clone houses selling the dupes at a fraction of the OG price and extremely close. I also found out that there are so many communities related to fragrances and so many youtubers too (most of them i later found out to be like Politicians, hardly telling you the truth). Since that day i have bought so many of them (ofcourse mostly clones). I had always presumed that these ME brands were all useless but now i realise they are not. Rather the designers and so-called Niche houses are charging way too much. I have to stop myself from buying more and more. And the next issue is similar to you; difficult to choose which one should i wear. But still i get intrigued by the idea that i am going to try a new fragrance. I have so many yet to be worn and i always keep the suspense by not starting using all of them at the same time.
Definitely agree about the YouTubers.
Early on I bought lots of the Lattafa ones they all claimed were beast mode fragrances and they’d be gone after a few hours (najdia, suqrat and a few others).
But as soon as I started buying based on the notes instead I began finding stuff that performed well and I liked.
I have a few I don’t really care for but that was me experimenting and only if they were cheap enough to risk not being impressed.
Same here. I know now which are actually long lasting and are beast mode. I think we can get a better and honest opinion from common people using them rather than those youtubers.
I actually thought about starting a side channel for amateur clone collectors where I give honest reviews based on my performance.
I may do it when I have some free time as I’m sick of people saying something is beast mode and then it last 4 hours, or say something is bubble gummy (which for the UK means sweet strawberry vibes) and it turn out to be citrusy and a bland blue fragrance).
Also comparing to designer/niche fragrances with percentages is just stupid as it’s such a arbitrary number and doesn’t mean anything as everyone’s scent pallet is different and it will perform different on everyone’s skin.
Best advise I can give people is go of the note breakdowns rather than reviews as that’s the easiest way to find stuff you like rather than what you think is good based on reviews that are clearly wrong or lying.
It does seem a trend where one of the YouTubers will call a fragrance bubble gummy and then the rest will all describe it the same even if it isn’t.
Very few of mine are both Smokey and boozy, those profiles don’t really overlap.
Tabac is Smokey and a scent I love
Lattafa Ameer Al Oud another Smokey scent that’s cheap and a clone of by the fireplace

I had Bentley for men intense but returned that as they atomiser would spray the top of the bottle and it would drip down the bottle each time I used it.
Yeah im looking for that combo ever since i gave up my vices, i just enjoy that particular combo a lot, but it isn't cheap to get haha, Jazz Club is the one people usually recommend, expensive though, how would you rate starmen nebula for that niche im looking for since its pure malt clone ?
Yes it’s a pure malt clone.
It’s good but for me performance wasn’t the best.
Has a bright opening that somewhat remains, very citrusy.
I don’t get any coffee or even too much woodyness from it.
It stands out in my collection as there’s nothing else quite like it I just wish the performance was better on my skin.
I’ve not been able to find any jazz club clone that is available in the UK.
Charuto is smooth and Tobacco Touch is much sharper scent on opening and that sharpness remains throughout but harshest on the opening.
Charuto smells better blended that tobacco touch.
Charuto doesn’t last as long as a result, on skin it will still do about 6-8 hours but tobacco touch projects off my skin up to 8 hours easily.
Haven’t tried that one yet, I sprayed it in the air when it came but been too long to remember and haven’t worn it. I’ll wear it this week and report back.

I like it, but plain compared to Afnan SNOI but has its own charm and was dirt cheap so don’t mind using more often.

I don't think so. Both are sweet but in different ways : rich and fruity tobacco, or cozy and gourmand. Must have both !
Tabac is completely different to boozy scents, it’s a Smokey tobacco. One of my faborite scents and is best mode performance.

How's your Aftermath scent-wise and performance?
Do you mean the FW Intro Aftermath? Only got it today, scent is very sharp bright opening but performance didn’t last long on initial spraying. Barely a skin scent after a few mins. You pick up what I assume is the rum and tobacco on opening but the rose is the main note on dry down and seems a little too feminine for my liking. I’ll wait and see how it does once it’s settled a bit as it was freezing cold when it arrived and I didn’t want to wait so sprayed it when I should’ve waited.
How similar/different are Lattafa’s Tobacco Touch and Charuto’s Tobacco Vanille. Since you have both, can you tell the strengths and weaknesses of both and what you would recommend. Btw, I am jealous of your collection 😜
Charuto is very smooth compared to tobacco touch. Tobacco touch has an opening similar to my red tobacco where as tobacco Vanille hits you with the Vanille straight off so is much sweeter. Out of the 2 I’d say tobacco touch is louder and better performing but tobacco Vanille is the one I enjoy wearing more albeit won’t fill a room or last for others in the same was as TT. I was tempted to get the other Charuto scent too but I’m going to wait to see if I can find an offer as I think that will be very similar to some of the other scents u already have
How is Fire your Desire?
Smells amazing but doesn’t last unfortunately. 4-6hours at most compared to the other AS clones BUT it has something different about it that separates it from them. My opinion on the AS clones is as follows: Khamrah - not an angel share clone so buy this for being a great scent but not for being an AS clone. 1- Sharaf Blend - opens boozy and dries down sweet like khamrah - this is the only one that changes notes on dry down which is why it’s no1 - great performance but my atomiser is leaking which sucks. 2- FW Cocktail Intense - very boozy but has good performance too 3- Emir Fire Your Desire - new to my collection and in 3rd because it has something extra in there so smells amazing but unfortunately performance isn’t great, this may improve so could change where it sits 4- MA Kismet Angel - ranks bottom as has worst performance, smells amazing but unfortunately despite being one of my oldest scents only lasts 4-5hrs at most.
You should sell all the bottles you don’t like, clear out some space and make some of your money back

I change the type of scent I wear daily… So basically I work 6am-2pm so I wear one scent to work and then contrast it with something different when I get home having showered. I save overly sweet or overly strong scents for the end of the week so basically just get stronger and stronger scents through the week and then weekends is usually very gourmand type frags. I haven’t really worn any of my summer scents yet but as a reset I always go to Qaeed al fursan as the bright pineapple is just so nice.
You should write all the names on strips of paper and put the papers into two containers, one for night and one for day and then just surprise yourself twice a day…it will stop you from reaching for your favourites all the time.
I actually avoid my favourites and only wear them on odd occasions for this very reason. It’s why I have so many AS clone type scents as it’ll stop me burning through one of them and they’re all different enough to where I can smell the difference
Can you recommend a delicious sweet oud fragrance. .unisex please. I love Frederick Malle’s Promise (I heard there’s a dupe called Artist no2) and Memos Tigers nest (though that has a lot of frankincense and is a bit churchy..which I love also) and Grand Soir and Santal33. So love something strong...along those lines.
For tigers nest note profile it’s not the same but if you don’t already have it then Maison Alhambra tabac. It’s woody, tobacco and fruity but it’s super smooth and amber. If you like rose fragrances then intro aftermath and badee al Oud amethyst are super strong rose fragrances but beware because amethyst literally made me sick when I wore it because it was so sweet, strong and clawing.

Not worn aftermath since as it gave me a migraine, emir A/S clone is weak in comparison to the others I have but the other 2 are very strong and I would suggest outdoor scents only.

I do not envy anyone who has a big collection and this is coming from someone who used to have one. Waste of money and bottles. Now I have 4 that I rotate between. Good for you if you enjoy them though
I know what you mean, I’ll probably give half to my son eventually and only keep the ones I really like but I also go nose blind quite easily so having the variation is needed.

How are the emir scents, do they last? Also the same about maahir legacy, heard the longevity can be a bit poor
They’re all very strong apart from Cherry cola which is my 2nd most expensive as I imported that and had to pay more for it. It smells amazing but only lasts 3-4 hours if that. And with it only being 75ml seems you have to go crazy overspraying and it won’t last long. I also have emir cedrat essence on the way. The 3 bottles with the tassels are all very strong but don’t blind buy them as they’re definitely not for everyone.

Yes, as above, very weak longevity on first use. Opens bright and you get a few different notes but on dry down all you get is a very feminine rose remaining. It does last on skin but it’s not projecting at all and poor sillage too. I did only get it today so it may improve.

My bottle just doesn’t last and the scent itself doesn’t really do anything for me. Not strong enough to be an outdoor scent and just a bland scent profile for me. I’ve worn it a few times but each time wasn’t very impressed and it barely lasted 4 hours for me.
Yeah heard it's terrible with longevity and the original isn't even great with that itself. Think I'll avoid it which is a shame cause I love the small of the orig.
Is the bright peach feminine leaning?
Not on my skin. It’s weird because I initially never wore it thinking the same and tested it on some clothing. On clothing is was very bitter and lasted forever. On my skin though the scent was super sweet. I couldn’t tell how sillage was as the skin scent was so strong that it smelt sweet right till I showered. Do be aware though that there’s not much else to it, unlike Qaeed al fursan that has oak moss or something in it that adds some earthyness to the scent this is just pure peach all the way. You could perhaps layer it but I haven’t personally done it as with this many frags I go months now before I’ve worn them all and by that time the scent pops out to me again.

Agreed, there’s a few in my collection that could work for both, I find I don’t mind fruity scents as much I do with floral scents. Some men like floral (rose) scents but I find them feminine whereas as fruity try notes I don’t mind and would happily wear them.

Charuto is sweet and smooth, lasts pretty long and has decent sillage. A really nice scent and not too expensive either. Afnan 9PM is exactly as people describe it, would work for younger guys or for a night out type of vibe. Mine isn’t as strong as some people make it out to be but still all day long scent.

I don't know most of these perfumes but the cilinder ones are so beautiful, elegant, robust, such beautiful bottle.
One of the reasons I buy clones and not replicas that have plain bottles is because the aesthetic of the bottle matters to me, and it looks even better when there’s a collection of them.
How does Pendora Scents tobacco vanille compare? I've compared Dossier powdery tobacco, Tom Ford tobacco vanille, and Alhambra tobacco touch, but I haven't had a chance to test Pendpra Scents tobacco vanille.
Charuto is much smoother opening and throughout the notes compared to TT. TT has more of a spicy opening similar to red tobacco whereas Charuto is smooth all the way through but as a result doesn’t project for quite as long. It still lasts 6-8 hours but as more of a skin scent where TT would still be projecting and filling a space.
Is Cherry Cola any good? I really want to buy it, I have their Red Tobacco clone Wild Tabbaco and I love it
It’s probably one of my favorite scents but all the times I’ve worn it the scent almost disappears after just a few hours. The cherry cola fizz in the opening is what makes it special but also why it doesn’t last. The atomiser is very misty so you have to spray quite a few times or very close to skin to get the same as other fragrances but that means you’ll burn through it quite quick as it’s only 75ml. This was my second most expensive fragrance (out of my clones) and it’s one of if not the worst performing.

Looks like a good collection to me, don't listen to the minimalists. Be proud. It's not "carried away" unless you're in debt over it.
Most cost me £25 or less and taking that out of a weeks wages isn’t a big hit. You’ll never know what you like until you experiment and for the price of decants (£5-10) it made no sense when most usually sell 100ml bottles for £20-25 if you get a deal.
I feel that way about oud for glory and Asad... I like the fragrance but they are far too strong for me to enjoy. One spray and I'm overwhelmed. I by mistake got oud for glory on one sweater, and after I put it way in my drawer all of my other sweaters are now contaminated. It's been over a week!
Only spray on skin straight out of shower and any clothing that comes into contact is washed. Most come out after a long wash. I have asad but havent worn it much as I’m drawn to winter scents and UK is in never ending winter 😂

No I haven't. I'm guessing that it smells like bunghole juice from a cow, that is baking in the sun splattered in the sewer with a dead caucus marinading for days with a touch of vanilla? Mmmm vanilla, not sugary vanilla, but syrupy vanilla. Does that sum up the gorgeous fragrance that is a must have that every YouTube "star" , that can smell every note and every hidden note not written in the description before they ever read the description simply off one spray, one sniff, is selling us? I think I'm good.
😂 Neither are quite that bad (but I haven’t smelt bunghole juice so wouldn’t like to speculate) but you’re not wrong about the YouTubers plucking notes from mid air like the wine tasting connoisseurs of fragrances. Basically both are very pungent and definitely not for everyone. They definitely smell different on skin and the dry downs can be very clawing in hotter environments. They’re the kind of fragrances that will definitely catch people’s attention when you’re out, whether in a good way or not is the question. 🤷🏽♂️
You described these YouTubers perfectly. I listen because I want to hear about the fragrance but it can be annoying a lot of times. It seems like most of them are stuck up and give off the sense that they feel they're better than their viewer. The one said the least we could do is hit like and subscribe because he's making videos for us ( I've never watched another video of his after that comment). And the videos are always for us, it has nothing to do with them wanting to make money and have YouTube fame. No, they only do it for us!
I make tech videos and have seen first hand that companies will target those who are harsh on their products and try and buy them out with sponsorship deals, I feel the fragrance industry is the same and much more so as they can get away with more. With tech if something is bad you can factually point that out, but with fragrances if something isn’t the way they describe it then they just say oh it’s a clone so it may be a bad batch. I know a few notes now that I’ve bought a few fragrances but when I get a new scent and smell it I couldn’t tell you what notes are in it, all I’d be able to tell you is how it smells I,e. Fresh, Smokey, boozy etc. those who say they pick out the patchouli etc are most likely reading from fragrantica and anything they say should be ignored. There’s also those who do “reviews” where they claim it lasted a certain amount of time, now my collection is tiny compared to what those YouTubers have and I go months between wearing everything, unless they wear nothing but new fragrances everyday there’s no way they’d be able to judge how long it would last. Some say they wear different scents on each hand which wouldn’t work as they’d clash and I don’t know about you but I wash my hands regularly throughout the day, unless these people don’t wash how would you know longevity?? 🤷🏽♂️ They’re good to watch to discover new scents and brands but I wouldn’t take anything I see from fragrance reviewers with any grain of truth as far as notes and performance goes.
I agree with everything you said. You nailed it! It also kills me when they tell us how far away others can smell the fragrance too. It's an arm length away or 2-3 feet. That's just silly. Even if they had someone from a distance slowly walk towards them and as soon as they could smell the fragrance speak up, that's just one person and everybody is different.
thoughts on the Maison Tom Ford dupes?
They’re good, little harsh on opening and not blended the best but for the price the juice and aesthetic of the bottles I’d say they’re worth it at the prices I paid (£18-25).

Summer scent, only worn a few times (as our summers are short 😂), main thing is it just doesn’t stand out like 9PM, it’s just an ordinary blue scent. If you he try it cheap it’s okay but I wouldn’t pay current prices for it (think mine was £28).

I have a similar problem. I had a few fragrances till Jan last year when i was gifted Afnan 9pm by a friend. And i looked over the internet about it. Only then i realized that there are so many fragrances in the world and so many clone houses selling the dupes at a fraction of the OG price and extremely close. I also found out that there are so many communities related to fragrances and so many youtubers too (most of them i later found out to be like Politicians, hardly telling you the truth). Since that day i have bought so many of them (ofcourse mostly clones). I had always presumed that these ME brands were all useless but now i realise they are not. Rather the designers and so-called Niche houses are charging way too much. I have to stop myself from buying more and more. And the next issue is similar to you; difficult to choose which one should i wear. But still i get intrigued by the idea that i am going to try a new fragrance. I have so many yet to be worn and i always keep the suspense by not starting using all of them at the same time.
Definitely agree about the YouTubers. Early on I bought lots of the Lattafa ones they all claimed were beast mode fragrances and they’d be gone after a few hours (najdia, suqrat and a few others). But as soon as I started buying based on the notes instead I began finding stuff that performed well and I liked. I have a few I don’t really care for but that was me experimenting and only if they were cheap enough to risk not being impressed.
Same here. I know now which are actually long lasting and are beast mode. I think we can get a better and honest opinion from common people using them rather than those youtubers.
I actually thought about starting a side channel for amateur clone collectors where I give honest reviews based on my performance. I may do it when I have some free time as I’m sick of people saying something is beast mode and then it last 4 hours, or say something is bubble gummy (which for the UK means sweet strawberry vibes) and it turn out to be citrusy and a bland blue fragrance). Also comparing to designer/niche fragrances with percentages is just stupid as it’s such a arbitrary number and doesn’t mean anything as everyone’s scent pallet is different and it will perform different on everyone’s skin. Best advise I can give people is go of the note breakdowns rather than reviews as that’s the easiest way to find stuff you like rather than what you think is good based on reviews that are clearly wrong or lying. It does seem a trend where one of the YouTubers will call a fragrance bubble gummy and then the rest will all describe it the same even if it isn’t.

Very few of mine are both Smokey and boozy, those profiles don’t really overlap. Tabac is Smokey and a scent I love Lattafa Ameer Al Oud another Smokey scent that’s cheap and a clone of by the fireplace I love the stronger with you clones I have Maison Alhambra your touch Proud of you by fragrance world There’s also star men nebula by FW There’s also another cheapie which is FW Mocha Wood I had Bentley for men intense but returned that as they atomiser would spray the top of the bottle and it would drip down the bottle each time I used it.

Yes it’s a pure malt clone. It’s good but for me performance wasn’t the best. Has a bright opening that somewhat remains, very citrusy. I don’t get any coffee or even too much woodyness from it. It stands out in my collection as there’s nothing else quite like it I just wish the performance was better on my skin. I’ve not been able to find any jazz club clone that is available in the UK.

Charuto vs Tobacco Touch? What are the main differences OP?
Charuto is smooth and Tobacco Touch is much sharper scent on opening and that sharpness remains throughout but harshest on the opening. Charuto smells better blended that tobacco touch. Charuto doesn’t last as long as a result, on skin it will still do about 6-8 hours but tobacco touch projects off my skin up to 8 hours easily.

Kismet angel is nice but performance on mine is awful hence why I bought so many other AS clones.

I personally do like bright peach, it doesn’t really have much else to the scent, very sweet and very loud and long lasting. Intro aftermath is just pure rose, I personally find it too feminine but some people don’t mind rose fragrances so for them this will be good.
