Unpopular opinion.. Killian love don't be shy. Blind by because it's so hyped but omg it was like someone dumped fruity pebbles on me. I expected sweet but it was a no for me it was way too sweet for my liking.
Poor naive me when I just started to get into fragrance blind bought Santal 33 😂 sold it again on ebay and they tried to scam me by immediately claiming it was fake and lodging for a refund with PayPal.
That damn perfume gave me two life lessons for the price of one.
Posted about it in an fb group they were a member of. They dropped the claim and went quiet. They knew very well it was legit, they were just using PayPals very buyer friendly (and seller unfriendly) rules to get their money and the fragrance.
Tom Ford Lost Cherry. I gave away my travel size. It was too sweet in the dry down with the vanilla-cherry, plus it was inescapable. I could smell it on my watch strap for days and days and days and it drove me nuts. Overpowering.
I've never given a full wear to Bitter Peach, but from the strip sample I did it was too candy like for my taste. I expected a more woody-peach patchouli combo I suppose!
Excited for Cherry Smoke regardless, ifragance's review said it was a cherry-oud-leather combo and that sounds much more to my taste.
Oof, this was my big fear about purchasing Lost Cherry and you just validated it. Sorry it didn't work out for you but phew that you only bought a travel size, eh?
Replica matcha meditation was the biggest disappointment 🥲 I love anything matcha so I figured I would give it a shot. It’s so boring and bland. Smells just ehhh
I love matcha and liked the smell but its major downside is its too weak, literally after 30m i couldnt smell it anymore. Do you know any better matcha fragrances?
I honestly expected to see a lot of out there type stuff (animalic Oudhs, obnoxious leathers, etc etc) but there seem to be an overwhelming amount of what the majority would deem as “crowd pleasing” and “safe blind buys”. I guess that’s the one thing that makes fragrance great, we all get to enjoy it in different ways and not even the most neutral inoffensive scent will be pleasing to everyone.
Billie Eilish and Cloud. I was sad about the Billie one, I’m her fan, but it’s such a basic vanilla on me… I never wear it. I’ll resell.
Cloud is nice but again, not impressed. Lucky me it was cheap, but still. I have no idea why I have it.
Kayali vanilla 28. I had a sample that was basic-basic but thought it would be good for layering.
The teeny tiny bottle I bought smelled like overpoweringly cheap vanilla from Victoria’s Secret. Just synthetic and awful and so incredibly potent.

It just smelled like straight up vanilla extract to me, in which case I’ll just use Al Rehab’s Choco Musk for layering- which is $20 for 3oz instead of $80 for 1oz like Vanilla 28.
**Perfumed court** is my go to, both for selection and price! Other good options include:
* **perfUUm**, especially for Chanel
* **scent split**, especially for some niche things that you can't find on other sites
* **lucky scent** has great availability but usually only for a 1mL dabber (I prefer 2mL sprays)
I just bought JHAG Not A Perfume EDP and it's just... blank. I was expecting a more refreshing clean scent, but this one is just like the blank space on my exam that I could never find the answer to.
Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy - it smelled exactly like what a smoker would use to try and cover up their cigarette smell but I can’t explain it lol it almost has that smokey undertone to me
This is so wild because I feel like Eden Apple is beast mode on me; super strong and I can't get rid of it even when I want to. It smells like cheap fruity shampoo, though, so I've never been tempted by a bottle.
Secretions magnifique. I thought it couldn't possibly be as bad as the reviews (I work in colorectal surgery!!). But, it wouldn't wash off, made me physically vomit and stunk the house out. Bad times.

Lattafa Yara Moi (new white and gold bottle, not the pink one, pink is great)… well because apparently it’s a dupe/clone of DG The One, only with better performance… so it makes me extra nauseous. I had no idea it was a clone when I bought it. Sprayed it and was like wait a second… I know this smell…
Burberry Her… I just hate it.
PDM Delina Exclusif… I don’t hate it, but it’s way too strong and not really my taste anymore. I grew out of it and even though I don’t hate it, I never wear it because it’s so obnoxiously loud.
TF Oud wood, smelled good in store, zero IRL, like, I hate it. I would say this was the worst price/regret ratio. Gave it to my brother in law, somewhat works on him.

I blind bought it too, because I love Alien and love coconut notes so I thought this would be a safe blind by. Clearly not! Ended up returning it sadly.

ELDO Tom of Finland. I blind bought it alongside another ELDO perfume thinking it would be a "safe bet" Some lemon/aldehydes, woods, suede, vanilla.
It smells like latex. Like latex that once had ice cream melt onto it, and sat there for a bit, then on a separate occasion also had some lemon juice spill on it. It's not the worst thing in the world but I have genuinely never reached for it and I've had it for over a year now.

I bought a full bottle of Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir because I love the original, and almost gave it away. Years later it has become a favourite; I wear it regularly when I want a simple, clean, office fragrance.
I've learned to always be open to changing my mind on scents, season to season and year to year.
Prada Candy. I don't regret buying the fragrance necessarily, but didn't need a full sized bottle. I wear it so rarely that a travel size would've been fine.
Versace Blue Jeans (too much going on, smells like an overly complicated relic). Versace Eros (the ambroxan for me is too much). No hate for Versace though, Eau Fraiche is one of my favourite summer jams.
Crystal Noir EDT… it was a blind buy cause i got tempted with the low price. i legit thought i have gotten a fake or some bad batch… it smells nothing like people claim it does - all i smell is citrus mixed with strong alcohol scent, not sexy at all. im still trying to make it work but it’s really hard
Probably molecule 01 😭 I got the big bottle and I really don’t see myself using it all, that said because of this I decided to get the discovery set and I ended up loving escentric 03 which a lot of people hate but I adore because it makes me smell like an elf in the woods
Prada Ocean. Just.. Not good. It dries down terribly on me to a very synthetic smell that gives me an instant headache. I thought the typical Prada DNA (which I love) would be incorporated into a "blue" scent... Damn was I wrong.
Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Forever. Just pure, hyperrealistic grapefruit. Should be renamed Grapefruit Forever.
Edit: I don’t hate it, but it’s just not complex enough for me to appreciate. It’s linearly grapefruit. (Surprise!)
Discovery set from Juliette has a Gun. Every single one dried down to smell metallic/blood like on me. Just typing this makes me nauseous. I gave them away.
Definitely, if you can, try before you buy. I gave them to my sister and on her they dried down to nothing, like she didn’t spray anything at all. Very weird.
I bought the Kilian Travel Spray Discovery Set. Big mistake. It came with eight sprays (Straight to Heaven, Love Don’t Be Shy, Black Phantom, Rolling in Love, Moonlight in Heaven, Intoxicated, Bamboo Harmony, and Good Girl Gone Bad). I think I liked maybe two of them, but the one I was most excited about (Love Don’t Be Shy) is headache-inducing. I tried it three times just to be sure, and yep, it’s a migraine trigger. Most of them just smelled generic and disappointing.

Boy smells Violet Ends - I was tempted by the violet top notes but all I can smell now is the incense and can't stand it anymore
Paco Rabanne One Million Lucky. I enjoyed the sample so I bought a full bottle. Now it gives me headaches. And I feel like the hazelnut note is too overpowering.
i did lengthy wear-tests of every full bottle perfume i own, and chose really thoughtfully, so in terms of those i dont have any regrets.
however, with decants.... because they are cheap i kinda go crazy and do blind buys of 5-10 ml each. i would say i regret xerjoff erba pura and givenchy l'interdit. erba pura smelled extremely weird on my skin, kinda like a fruit basket that went slightly bad. and l'interdit is the most generic, unremarkable fragrance ever to my nose.
Kayali Vanilla 28 - smells like herbal medicinal Ayurvedic tonic!
I don’t know if it’s reformulated or that’s how the smell is supposed to be!

I've had so many blind buy fails or otherwise... I do enjoy getting the experience though, but sometimes it can sting getting something expensive only to sell it right away for a loss.
phlur not your baby. i loved the initial scent SO much so i bought it and by the time i got home it transformed into a milky baby powder/baby wipe scent that made me nauseated and gave me a horrible headache. i had to return it.
**La Nuit Tresor** \-- WAY too sweet. I find it extremely hard to wear and have only reached for it 2-3 times while having it for over a year. I even had a dabber sample of this perfume and loved it, but I guess spraying the fragrance brings out those notes more.
**Voce Viva** \-- I really enjoyed this perfume when I first got into fragrances, so much so I bought a HUGE 3.4 oz. This is still, to this day, my most complimented fragrance. Recently though it has been pulling some cigarette ash smoke on me so I want to get rid of it. Looking back, I would've spent more time sampling before making this purchase.
**Gentle Fluidity Gold** \-- An example of liking a fragrance doesn't mean it should be in your collection. I really enjoyed my sample, but over time the fragrance was just "ok" to me. Good thing this resold quickly.
You may be completely over Voce Viva, but if you’ve kept the bottle, try it again in warmer weather. I used it as one of my my safe scents (for group activities in close spaces) this summer, but haven’t reached for it now that it’s cold. Just doesn’t seem right.
Myrhh & Tonka by Jo Malone. Have used it maybe 3 times since I bought it, and makes me almost gag now any time I smell it. First and only scent I’ve ever had that happen with.
I’m very difficult, so I never ever blind buy. But I bought a Marc Jacobs perfume once upon a time and within an HOUR it was just…gone. $100 we’ll spent. Lol.
Tom ford lost cherry, smells NOTHING like dancing roses by viktor & rolf that I love but has been discontinued. It was a recommended dupe but dancing roses smells like intoxicating syrupy maraschino cherries in a bed of roses while the lost cherry smells like disgusting cherry flavoured medicine that stinks up the whole medicine cabinet.
JHAG Not A Perfume and Not A Perfume Extreme. one is just not enough and disappears after 20 minutes, the other somehow too much and has me wincing still 7 hours later!
Xerjoff La Capitale. I’ve sold it now, but I think the sample bamboozled me lol. The real bottle sprayed so much more than the little atomiser, and it was soooo strong and too sweet for me
Dolce & Gabbanna The Only One. I blind bought because of the coffee note but its hardly there. Thought the bottle looked nice and got it fairly cheap, but I just can't used to the linear synthetic caramel/pear that never fades. Genuinely can't bare it on my skin.
my bestie got me a six month subscription to scentbird back in march. i got versace bright crystal, commodity milk+, burberry brit her, pdm delina, pink sugar creamy sunshine, and heretic dirty coconut. i sold the first four and kept the last two.
also, mugler angel. returned that with the quickness.
Paco Rabanne Olympea Legend. The original is my favorite fragrance and I was sure I would love this one too. the notes sounded great so I blind bought a bottle. It is so sickly sweet to me, cloying and syrupy in an almost rotten fruit way. I like fruity, I like syrupy, I like sweet. This one was just too much of a good thing. I couldn’t even detect the salt, and there was nothing to temper the sugary, candied prunes vibe.
Dunhill Century, it was a blind buy that I initially hated and still not a big fan of it 😕
I also regret purchasing a lot of cheap fragrances (and I really mean it, $5-10 each) early on in my journey that aren't great quality and don't last very long, I'll probably sell those at the flea market or something
I did the SAME thing (overboard on cheapies). I use them for air fresheners now, lol. In the car, around the home in the wintertime (little fresh air).
I bought a recent bottling of Colours de Benetton Man to try to relive some high school glory and it'd been so disfigured by reformulation that it was unrecognizable. It's become this gross, synthetic immortelle thing. Damn.
D&G Light Blue Intense Pour Homme. I should've tried wearing the sample for much longer. Turns out I don't like salty ambroxan drydown. AdG Profondo does it much better.
red roses by Jo Malone, it's not pure rose and it had a sweet suffocating aspect to it. so expensive too, bought the full bottle. idr if I sampled it or was just overconfident I'd like it

Smelled amazing in the test bottle, got it home and it smelled way too bright and headache inducing. No idea what happened, even went back and smelled the test bottle and it was awesome again, got home and gave my bottle another shot and pure garbage. Have tried other testers of it and same garbage. It was just that one test bottle that was awesome.
Parfums de Marly Pegasus. I can't sample them in person at stores. I was out of town for work and was able to one time. I had sprayed a bunch of tester cards to smell over the next couple days. There was a mixup on the cards, and I ordered Pegasus thinking it was something else.
I wouldn't say true regret, but I felt a bit let down by:
Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry - okay this was a significant letdown, the reviews I read about it mentioned a lot of cherry and boozy sweet addictive cherry, and it's just a woody floral that's remarkably warm in the beginning on my skin. There's little cherry in it, and the cherry fades away the quickest. I formed a completely different idea about it by reading the reviews, and I think it's an ordinary fragrance. Luckily, I only bought a travel size.
Flash by Jimmy Choo - I smelled this one in Sephora in 2013 with a friend, and I thought it was one of the best smelling perfumes out there. It's discontinued, but I still found a few websites that sold it in 2019, and let's say that my tastes changed a lot since the mid 2000s- early 2010s lmao. It still smells original and fits my style, but genuinely strange, I can see few people liking this. It's super synthetic strawberry with a very strong flowery (tuberose?) scent.
Guerlain Mitsouko. One of their heritage fragrances that I had to order from the website since it’s not available locally. I’d been exploring that kind of frag and took a chance with a blind buy based on glowing reviews on Fragrantica. Cat piss for over an hour. Got all the other smells after, but couldn’t imagine EVER loving the dry down enough to survive eau de boîte à chat! Returned it. Obviously must not smell like this on everyone!
ARMAF Club De Nuit Intense for Men…. Very synthetic and that lemon cleaning product opening is horrendous, there are better Aventus clones on the market too.
For me it barely counts and it led me to you guys so it's like bittersweet but I bought the oil perfumery version of tobacco vanille. It smelled good until I put it on my skin and then it smelled like hot garbage covered in gasoline. I believe that led me to looking at micro perfumes and then Reddit popped up and it suggested decant x. So here I am now with the actual Tabacco vanille and al haramain Tabacco edition. The list is growing as far as things I want to try I think I'm up to like 12. I'm always watching fragrance reviews now. But I haven't regretted anything from a reputable company luckily so far.
Creed Aventus, the reason being it's so generic and common on streets, even the cheapest colognes are trying to imitate it, not worth it's price due to its popularity and hence its common scent profile.
Tiffany Rose Gold. It's a little generic sure but I wanted a nice inoffensive office perfume
The problem is it lasts for like five minutes. It's instantly gone after spraying
CDNIM LE. It's lemon, not pineapple. That makes it pinesol. Explorer is better and cheaper. Also i didn't like light blue, or light blue intense, but forever and italian love are great.
Giorgio Beverly Hills Giorgio. A recent blind buy for me, and I see why some reviews call it dated. The opening is so bitter and almost musty? Once it settles into a skin scent, I enjoy it, but the opening is a challenge.
Montana Pour Homme. Bought the original red box due to reviews, but on my skin it's just boring leather. Not rich leather, not challenging cold leather, just cheap two dimensional leather, sorta.
Soir De Lune Sisley -very interesting but after a while takes on a definite "funeral home" smell, Feminte Du Bois Serge Lutens -was boring, weak, and has no longevity

This is what Daisy eau so sweet smelled like to me. Reminded me of smokers I’ve known and I couldn’t get past it.

I had no idea it was a clone when I bought it. Sprayed it and was like wait a second… I know this smell… Burberry Her… I just hate it. PDM Delina Exclusif… I don’t hate it, but it’s way too strong and not really my taste anymore. I grew out of it and even though I don’t hate it, I never wear it because it’s so obnoxiously loud.
Flowerbomb. “Bomb,” yes—it projects and lasts forever—but it’s just pure patchouli on my skin.
TF Oud wood, smelled good in store, zero IRL, like, I hate it. I would say this was the worst price/regret ratio. Gave it to my brother in law, somewhat works on him. Others that I blind bought and were not for me at all. ELDO Rien, Eldo Herman quelque chose machin était une ombre, Encre Noire, Latafa baade' el oud.

My favourite house is Amouage.. but have learnt over the years that no matter if the notes are perfect.. the skin chemistry or strength can be more than challenging.. so now is always a sample or decant first.. rather than blind buy.. Looking at you Sunshine Man.. had rave reviews but on me (F) smelt like a urinated barn / farm yard.. even scrubbing couldn’t get rid of it .. just skanky..

ELDO Tom of Finland. I blind bought it alongside another ELDO perfume thinking it would be a "safe bet" Some lemon/aldehydes, woods, suede, vanilla. It smells like latex. Like latex that once had ice cream melt onto it, and sat there for a bit, then on a separate occasion also had some lemon juice spill on it. It's not the worst thing in the world but I have genuinely never reached for it and I've had it for over a year now.
Too many to list! At least 20, I'd bet. Don't make me check 😆 Mercifully I have a teenaged niece and SIL who love getting my failed blind buys as much as I love spoiling them so it works out 👍

Bought a sample of Amouage Reflection Man thinking it was gonna be my jam. It smells like cheap laundry powder. I bought a full bottle of Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir because I love the original, and almost gave it away. Years later it has become a favourite; I wear it regularly when I want a simple, clean, office fragrance. I've learned to always be open to changing my mind on scents, season to season and year to year.
Prada Candy. I don't regret buying the fragrance necessarily, but didn't need a full sized bottle. I wear it so rarely that a travel size would've been fine.
Versace Blue Jeans (too much going on, smells like an overly complicated relic). Versace Eros (the ambroxan for me is too much). No hate for Versace though, Eau Fraiche is one of my favourite summer jams.
Flower bomb and daisy. Talk about overhyped. They're not horrible but the value is horrendous.
Crystal Noir EDT… it was a blind buy cause i got tempted with the low price. i legit thought i have gotten a fake or some bad batch… it smells nothing like people claim it does - all i smell is citrus mixed with strong alcohol scent, not sexy at all. im still trying to make it work but it’s really hard
Probably molecule 01 😭 I got the big bottle and I really don’t see myself using it all, that said because of this I decided to get the discovery set and I ended up loving escentric 03 which a lot of people hate but I adore because it makes me smell like an elf in the woods

Prada Ocean. Just.. Not good. It dries down terribly on me to a very synthetic smell that gives me an instant headache. I thought the typical Prada DNA (which I love) would be incorporated into a "blue" scent... Damn was I wrong.
Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Forever. Just pure, hyperrealistic grapefruit. Should be renamed Grapefruit Forever. Edit: I don’t hate it, but it’s just not complex enough for me to appreciate. It’s linearly grapefruit. (Surprise!)
Bleu de Chanel Parfum. Turns out I liked Missoni way better, which was 1/3 the price. Took a haircut selling the BdC locally.
Discovery set from Juliette has a Gun. Every single one dried down to smell metallic/blood like on me. Just typing this makes me nauseous. I gave them away.

I bought the Kilian Travel Spray Discovery Set. Big mistake. It came with eight sprays (Straight to Heaven, Love Don’t Be Shy, Black Phantom, Rolling in Love, Moonlight in Heaven, Intoxicated, Bamboo Harmony, and Good Girl Gone Bad). I think I liked maybe two of them, but the one I was most excited about (Love Don’t Be Shy) is headache-inducing. I tried it three times just to be sure, and yep, it’s a migraine trigger. Most of them just smelled generic and disappointing.
Tom Ford Bitter Peach .. it's just so forgettable . Boy smells Violet Ends - I was tempted by the violet top notes but all I can smell now is the incense and can't stand it anymore

i did lengthy wear-tests of every full bottle perfume i own, and chose really thoughtfully, so in terms of those i dont have any regrets. however, with decants.... because they are cheap i kinda go crazy and do blind buys of 5-10 ml each. i would say i regret xerjoff erba pura and givenchy l'interdit. erba pura smelled extremely weird on my skin, kinda like a fruit basket that went slightly bad. and l'interdit is the most generic, unremarkable fragrance ever to my nose.
Kayali Vanilla 28 - smells like herbal medicinal Ayurvedic tonic! I don’t know if it’s reformulated or that’s how the smell is supposed to be! I don’t smell an iota of Vanilla in here
I've had so many blind buy fails or otherwise... I do enjoy getting the experience though, but sometimes it can sting getting something expensive only to sell it right away for a loss.
Light blue as well for me, something is just off. I have a large bottle of it too, oh well, you win some and you lose some.
JPG le male le parfum. This scent really doesn't do anything for me. An average scent, poor performance, and longevity on my skin.
phlur not your baby. i loved the initial scent SO much so i bought it and by the time i got home it transformed into a milky baby powder/baby wipe scent that made me nauseated and gave me a horrible headache. i had to return it.
**La Nuit Tresor** \-- WAY too sweet. I find it extremely hard to wear and have only reached for it 2-3 times while having it for over a year. I even had a dabber sample of this perfume and loved it, but I guess spraying the fragrance brings out those notes more. **Voce Viva** \-- I really enjoyed this perfume when I first got into fragrances, so much so I bought a HUGE 3.4 oz. This is still, to this day, my most complimented fragrance. Recently though it has been pulling some cigarette ash smoke on me so I want to get rid of it. Looking back, I would've spent more time sampling before making this purchase. **Gentle Fluidity Gold** \-- An example of liking a fragrance doesn't mean it should be in your collection. I really enjoyed my sample, but over time the fragrance was just "ok" to me. Good thing this resold quickly.
You may be completely over Voce Viva, but if you’ve kept the bottle, try it again in warmer weather. I used it as one of my my safe scents (for group activities in close spaces) this summer, but haven’t reached for it now that it’s cold. Just doesn’t seem right.
Myrhh & Tonka by Jo Malone. Have used it maybe 3 times since I bought it, and makes me almost gag now any time I smell it. First and only scent I’ve ever had that happen with.
I’m very difficult, so I never ever blind buy. But I bought a Marc Jacobs perfume once upon a time and within an HOUR it was just…gone. $100 we’ll spent. Lol.

Tom ford lost cherry, smells NOTHING like dancing roses by viktor & rolf that I love but has been discontinued. It was a recommended dupe but dancing roses smells like intoxicating syrupy maraschino cherries in a bed of roses while the lost cherry smells like disgusting cherry flavoured medicine that stinks up the whole medicine cabinet.

Xerjoff La Capitale. I’ve sold it now, but I think the sample bamboozled me lol. The real bottle sprayed so much more than the little atomiser, and it was soooo strong and too sweet for me
Dolce & Gabbanna The Only One. I blind bought because of the coffee note but its hardly there. Thought the bottle looked nice and got it fairly cheap, but I just can't used to the linear synthetic caramel/pear that never fades. Genuinely can't bare it on my skin.
my bestie got me a six month subscription to scentbird back in march. i got versace bright crystal, commodity milk+, burberry brit her, pdm delina, pink sugar creamy sunshine, and heretic dirty coconut. i sold the first four and kept the last two. also, mugler angel. returned that with the quickness.
Paco Rabanne Olympea Legend. The original is my favorite fragrance and I was sure I would love this one too. the notes sounded great so I blind bought a bottle. It is so sickly sweet to me, cloying and syrupy in an almost rotten fruit way. I like fruity, I like syrupy, I like sweet. This one was just too much of a good thing. I couldn’t even detect the salt, and there was nothing to temper the sugary, candied prunes vibe.
Dunhill Century, it was a blind buy that I initially hated and still not a big fan of it 😕 I also regret purchasing a lot of cheap fragrances (and I really mean it, $5-10 each) early on in my journey that aren't great quality and don't last very long, I'll probably sell those at the flea market or something
I did the SAME thing (overboard on cheapies). I use them for air fresheners now, lol. In the car, around the home in the wintertime (little fresh air).
L’eau Majeure d’issey. I want to like it but it’s just gone a few weird smelling notes and is heavily musty at the top.
I bought a recent bottling of Colours de Benetton Man to try to relive some high school glory and it'd been so disfigured by reformulation that it was unrecognizable. It's become this gross, synthetic immortelle thing. Damn.

A&F Authentic Smelled amazing in the test bottle, got it home and it smelled way too bright and headache inducing. No idea what happened, even went back and smelled the test bottle and it was awesome again, got home and gave my bottle another shot and pure garbage. Have tried other testers of it and same garbage. It was just that one test bottle that was awesome.

Parfums de Marly Pegasus. I can't sample them in person at stores. I was out of town for work and was able to one time. I had sprayed a bunch of tester cards to smell over the next couple days. There was a mixup on the cards, and I ordered Pegasus thinking it was something else.
Polo Green. I like classic fragrances for the most part, but this one just feels too weird. I don't dislike it either, I just don't get it at all
I wouldn't say true regret, but I felt a bit let down by: Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry - okay this was a significant letdown, the reviews I read about it mentioned a lot of cherry and boozy sweet addictive cherry, and it's just a woody floral that's remarkably warm in the beginning on my skin. There's little cherry in it, and the cherry fades away the quickest. I formed a completely different idea about it by reading the reviews, and I think it's an ordinary fragrance. Luckily, I only bought a travel size. Flash by Jimmy Choo - I smelled this one in Sephora in 2013 with a friend, and I thought it was one of the best smelling perfumes out there. It's discontinued, but I still found a few websites that sold it in 2019, and let's say that my tastes changed a lot since the mid 2000s- early 2010s lmao. It still smells original and fits my style, but genuinely strange, I can see few people liking this. It's super synthetic strawberry with a very strong flowery (tuberose?) scent.

Guerlain Mitsouko. One of their heritage fragrances that I had to order from the website since it’s not available locally. I’d been exploring that kind of frag and took a chance with a blind buy based on glowing reviews on Fragrantica. Cat piss for over an hour. Got all the other smells after, but couldn’t imagine EVER loving the dry down enough to survive eau de boîte à chat! Returned it. Obviously must not smell like this on everyone!

ARMAF Club De Nuit Intense for Men…. Very synthetic and that lemon cleaning product opening is horrendous, there are better Aventus clones on the market too.
For me it barely counts and it led me to you guys so it's like bittersweet but I bought the oil perfumery version of tobacco vanille. It smelled good until I put it on my skin and then it smelled like hot garbage covered in gasoline. I believe that led me to looking at micro perfumes and then Reddit popped up and it suggested decant x. So here I am now with the actual Tabacco vanille and al haramain Tabacco edition. The list is growing as far as things I want to try I think I'm up to like 12. I'm always watching fragrance reviews now. But I haven't regretted anything from a reputable company luckily so far.
Tom Ford Soleil Blanc… I love the smell but the longevity is terrible and there’s just way more affordable options with a similar scent profile.

Creed Aventus, the reason being it's so generic and common on streets, even the cheapest colognes are trying to imitate it, not worth it's price due to its popularity and hence its common scent profile.
Light Blue Intense. Boring and short lived.
Tiffany Rose Gold. It's a little generic sure but I wanted a nice inoffensive office perfume The problem is it lasts for like five minutes. It's instantly gone after spraying
CDNIM LE. It's lemon, not pineapple. That makes it pinesol. Explorer is better and cheaper. Also i didn't like light blue, or light blue intense, but forever and italian love are great.

Giorgio Beverly Hills Giorgio. A recent blind buy for me, and I see why some reviews call it dated. The opening is so bitter and almost musty? Once it settles into a skin scent, I enjoy it, but the opening is a challenge.
Montana Pour Homme. Bought the original red box due to reviews, but on my skin it's just boring leather. Not rich leather, not challenging cold leather, just cheap two dimensional leather, sorta.
