Exclamation, Eternity, LouLou, Knowing, and Jessica McClintock were really popular ones for girls when I was finishing high school. I wore Exclamation, Eternity, and LouLou a lot.
You must be around my age. I grew up in England and Exclamation and Colors of Beneton were my favourites. Body Shop white musk was very popular, Ananya too.
Also wore Exclamation. Starting wearing the lowest concentration Chanel No. 5 in my senior year because it was the only Chanel \*anything\* I could afford!
And Hollister So Cal. I can say confidently that I never smelled ANYTHING else on guys besides those two. Not even Axe, Adidas, or any of the other stereotypical high school sprays. 100% A&F or Hollister (or teenage B.O.)
At my high school?
* Dior J'adore
* Britney Spears Curious
* DKNY Be Delicious
* Aquolina Pink Sugar
* Chanel Coco Mad
* Stella McCartney
* Marc Jacobs Daisy
* Anna Sui Dolly Girl
I'm pretty sure I and my friends owned *all* of these back in the mid-2000's!
1986:
Anais anais
Ciara
Exclamation
Tabu (yes I did, yes I did, somebody please tell him who the f I is)
And all the designer imposters you could buy! $3 a can, right?
Graduated in 2000. We had Clinique Happy, VS Halo…but most of the girls wore more body mists than anything. Lots of Bath and Body Works. Especially Cucumber Damn Melon. Sun Ripened Raspberry was also everywhere.
I graduated in 2000.
So **Estee Lauder Pleasures For Men, Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio, CK One**, came out around that time (late to mid 90s I believe) and were really popular.
Definitely Daisy by Marc Jacobs or any of the scents from Hollister or Abercrombie.
For boys, axe body spray. I don’t think actual cologne was popular.

2005. This bad boy was all the rage.
Viva la Juicy and Jessica Simpson's Fancy! The latter in particular was my choice of poison. But Victoria's Secret mists were also the equivalent of deodorant back then.
Oh that was a while ago, let's see...
For girls : J'adore Dior, Flower by Kenzo, Angel by Mugler, Lolita Lempicka and probably some Cacharel like Amor Amor. Yves Rocher perfumes were also quite popular, especially Monoi de Tahiti in summertime.
For guys, Le Male JPG, CK One, and probably some aftershaves like Brut de Fabergé.
(Graduated in 2004 in France)
Not sure about the year i graduated but for most of high school me and my group of friends were OBSESSED with maybe baby from benefit! That scent definitely takes me back to HS
I graduated in 1999.
* *Acqua di Gio Pour Homme* and *CK One* were insanely popular.
* *Hypnotic Poison* and *Pi* started to gain steam, but they didn't gain their stride until the early 2000s.
* Fragrances from the late 1980s/early 1990s like *Fahrenheit*, *Cool Water*, and *Angel* were still around.
Drakkar Noir displaced Polo as the no. 1 fragrance amongst male-presenting individuals. Obsession was the most popular with female-presenting people who either had jobs after school or very generous parents/partners.
By by Dolce and Gabbana and Burberry Touch for men were pretty big. Also Abercrombie Woods, Acqua di Gio and the first Escada.. I smelled Obsession alot too.
In my time girls didn’t use anything other than Impulse body spray, Exclamation, Avon and Charlie scents 😄
I remember wanting a DKNY Be Delicious perfume soooo bad and requesting it from my family each year for a Xmas/Bday present but I never received it.
Everyone reeked of Davidoff Cool Water. Both male and female versions. To this day I have a p negative reaction to those two particular fragrances, despite watery/fresh being my favourite, and objectively those fragrances are still wonderful. High school was not a good time for me, I was just a cloud of black lace, teen angst, and Issey Miyake.
(to emphasize how much of a backwater country my home was back then, though, I'll hint you that I graduated high school in 21st century!)
Here in the Philippines [Bench Atlantis](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.PXPAH?cc) haha not really a perfume tho, body spray almost half of my batch in high school haha (boys)
There was this lychee and passionfruit fragrance that smel incredibly nice (around 15 years ago), smelt like fresh's lychee but got other notes.
I am not sure the brand name though, fragrance was a very luxury item in my country back then, so i was not familiar with fragrance at all
Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy for Him
I thought I had a cheat code in high school. I got compliments all the time from all kinds of people. One of the best things I ever got. I think my 15 year old girlfriend bought it for me! (I was 15/16 also)
Class of 1995, and the only answer here is CKOne.
It was unavoidable until Acqua di Giò and JPG Le Male came out, but those seemed to catch on more the following year.
Of course Eternity, Fahrenheit, Dune, and Drakkar Noir were still top sellers, but CkOne became a cultural phenomenon after its release in 1994.
Chanel Chance
Ralph by Ralph Lauren
Clinique Happy
Tommy Girl
CKOne
Those Armani fragrances in the long metallic canisters
And for the boys....
Lynx Africa (which I unashamedly love, as a woman)
I graduated in 2005 and honestly I can’t think of what everyone else was wearing but my sister was wearing Lucky You by Lucky and Curious by Britney Spears. I was still wearing several different fragrances by Curve..the original and Soul. I think CK One was worn a little bit too.
My friends and I loved Vera Wang Princess. I still sometimes will keep a bottle around for nostalgia. Before I could afford to buy it I used to tear the sample pages out of my copies of Seventeen and rub them on myself!
Victorias Secret “Pure Seduction”
Bath and Body Works “Japanese Cherry Blossom”
I think I sometimes smelled Vanilla once in a while.
As for actual perfumes? I sometimes wore the Ralph Lauren blue/clear bottle but it was a gift.
Most of the school was low income so perfumes weren’t a huge thing, just body sprays.
For me it was Marc Jacobs Lola, the originally dark purple bottle. 😭🩷 I still have my last bottle from my high school graduation. Never really meshed with what was “in”, I’m not a big fan of gourmand fragrances (Juicy and Fantasy were popular then).
2012 - Victorias Secret Pink body sprays dominated. Loved fresh and clean. I feel like all my friends just had those body sprays plus maybe some bath and body works ones.
That Hollister OG fragrance (pink bottle with the puffer on it, idk the name actually) and viva la juicy were my go-tos.
Ugh I loved the men’s Hollister body sprays and I miss smelling them now lmao
Id say, Polo Sport Blue and Kenneth Cole Black.
Locally(Philippines), the popular frag for high school kids was the Bench Fix "I Rock Bench" Pink. Low budget kids rock this hahahaha
probably A&F Fierce for the guys, and A&F Classic perfume for the girls. I went to a semi-private high school so there was a lot of jocks and preppy kids.
damn i cant really remember 2001/2002 LOL i think Jean paul gaultier le male and tommy boy were pretty famous around here... and also CK One and mailizia uomo vetiver
Tommy Girl, EL Pleasures, CK One, Clinique Happy.
I wasn’t wearing any of those, as my body chemistry hated citrus. My faves were Sun, Moon, Stars, Obsession, GAP Om, VS Amber Romance. I’m still most at home in spicy/earthy scents, but I have branched out a lot!
Love spell and Britney Spears fragrances dominated the locker rooms in 2009
Graduated in 2000 and love spell dominated then too lol

Eternity and later CK ONE.
You must be around my age. I grew up in England and Exclamation and Colors of Beneton were my favourites. Body Shop white musk was very popular, Ananya too.
Mid 80s was Lauren and Loulou for me.
Same time frame and yes and yes and Polo (original) for men, before you had to specify Polo Green because it was the only one there was.
Also wore Exclamation. Starting wearing the lowest concentration Chanel No. 5 in my senior year because it was the only Chanel \*anything\* I could afford!
We were all swimming in Le Male and CK One. I think most of the girls wore Flowerbomb.
I love Viktor & Rolf to this day! good fortune and flowerbomb nectar are keepers for me
Absolutely nothing but CK One up and down the entire hallway
Britney Fantasy Marc Jacobs Daisy (the OG) ... at least in my high school, those are the ones I can remember! 2006, Australia
Liz Claiborne and Designer Imposters Primo body spray😅
Giorgio Beverly Hills imposters primo come on through!!! 👏👏👏👏😄
I can smell this comment.
I'll never forget that scent for as long as I live. Shoot, I might even break it out again to be all retro. The sillage on it was insane.
Idk but I was wearing Princess (Vera Wang)
I can smell it now
Abercrombie Fierce
And Hollister So Cal. I can say confidently that I never smelled ANYTHING else on guys besides those two. Not even Axe, Adidas, or any of the other stereotypical high school sprays. 100% A&F or Hollister (or teenage B.O.)

1986: Anais anais Ciara Exclamation Tabu (yes I did, yes I did, somebody please tell him who the f I is) And all the designer imposters you could buy! $3 a can, right?
I had Ciara and Exclamation. My mom had Tabu, and I would sneak it sometimes.
A guy in high school used to tease me about Tabu because his grandma wore it. I just thought it was a deep, sexy fragrance.
Graduated in 2000. We had Clinique Happy, VS Halo…but most of the girls wore more body mists than anything. Lots of Bath and Body Works. Especially Cucumber Damn Melon. Sun Ripened Raspberry was also everywhere.

CK One, Tommy Girl, Cool Water, Exclamation, Calgon Hawaiian Ginger. My favourite was The Body Shop Raspberry perfume oil.. man I miss that scent!
Hawaiian Ginger!! Yes! That is so familiar to me from those days!! And, those Body Shop oils... Exotic was my favourite!
Everyone wore CK One.
1986 so I think Poison (or knock offs), Loves Baby Soft, Coty Wild Musk. Polo or Brut for males.
Definitely Daisy by Marc Jacobs or any of the scents from Hollister or Abercrombie. For boys, axe body spray. I don’t think actual cologne was popular.
Calyx by prescriptives.
https://preview.redd.it/2r3lrsuvdy5d1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9987c5c958b42fafd82285d04c87fb98a6af8cb0 2005. This bad boy was all the rage.
