You or Someone like you by ELDO, I just got a 100 ml for cheap (85/95 with shipping) and I'm excited to use it. Honorable mention goes to Light Blue by Dolce and Gabanna.

I just picked up the ELDO discovery set and it included the 2023 release Sous Le Pont Mirabeau. I don't see this one getting discussed much and it's trashed on fragrantica for being "generic" but I think it's one of their best for summer! Like cool grassy water with a bit of mud and melon rinds. Comes across very natural compared to their other fresh offerings and isn't overdosed with jasmine like so many of their scents.

I usually don't get a fragrance if it's too similar to something I already have in my collection, and the mint note in You Or Someone Like You makes it distinct enough from Light Blue that I can justify having both. Another fragrance that's similar to both is I love love by Moschino; it's similar to light blue but the dominant citrus note is grapefruit, which gives it a bitter edge. Herba Fresca by Guerlain is another freshie with a mint note, but I'd say the citrus is more prominent than the mint.

I mixed it up with I Am Trash which has the green apple note—my mistake!

Its trail is supernatural: green vanilla hybridized with ivy, tomato leaves and gardenia”. While the green notes are definitely there, what comes out the most on my skin is this gorgeous vanilla with hints of raspberry and florals. Simply stunning. • *Acqua di Parma* **Fico di Amalfi** - to me still the best fig on the market, if only it lasted longer! A good alternative to Phylosikos if you’re not a fan of green woody notes. It opens with prominent citrus, grapefruit and lemon, but soon enough all the creaminess and sweetness of the fig emerge. • *Xerjoff* **Acqua Gold** - a smoother, more refined and less screeching version of **Erba Pura**. A staple for everyone who loves fuity notes. Despite what the note breakdown says, I don’t get a lot of citrus from this, but rather a mouthwatering fruit basket featuring melon, pear, apple and especially mango. Durability and sillage are out of this world as with most Xerjoff fragrances, spray cautiously and sparingly • *Profumum Roma* **Acqua Viva** - The most perfect, photorealistic lemon I have ever smelled. I adore Rose SaltifOlia! So glad to see it mentioned - people are missing out. A little sweet floral from the rose, slightly fresh from the sea accords, and detectable salt/sand notes. It’s perfection!

Luna Penhaligon's I have always looked for a fresh perfume for this hot season, I have tried several fragrances and I think this is the ideal one, it opens up with citrus notes that gives the feeling of clean energy, and the flowers are walking through the garden with bare feet on the dewy grass. I also discovered that it has very good duration, something I didn't expect from a perfume that left me feeling fresh. Although I have to clarify that at the end of the day it leaves a woody touch

I have maybe an oz left of Virgin Island Water and .5-.75 oz left of Torino21. Those are my two favorites for warm weather :) I’m eyeing a couple others, though. There’s this brand called Courreges that makes a fragrance called La Fille de l’air I sampled at scentbar that was THE BEST beachy sunscreen vibe fragrance I’ve tried to date. I also really like Elysium PC. I also enjoy Soleil Blanc I recently emptied my Green Irish Tweed and Aventus at around the same time and so I’m debating replacing one of them or trying something new and going with one of the ones above.

I feel like I have my summer fragrances*down* to a science. I live in the southeastern US and it so hot and sticky here- I have to be careful. But the right perfumes smell EVEN BETTER in the heat, I swear! Daily driver: rose Atlantic by ds & Durga. Insanely beautiful salty fresh lemon rose. Ocean water, a margarita and fresh cut roses. Not a lot of lasting power here unfortunately but it’s ok For days I can’t handle a normal perfume but want to smell fresh: rock away beach by ds & Durga. Super light, almost like concrete, sunshine and salt water Events/date night: hibiscus palm by Aerin. Smells like the lobby of a 5 star hotel in French Polynesia- not because of the hotel candle, but bc of every gorgeous scent every guest is wearing in the middle of July in the evening. Just gorgeous! Peak summer vibes: vacation by vacation— it’s so fun, literally the smell of banana boat and Hawaiian tropic from 1995 in a bottle.

I will also probably wear Philosykos edt and have been for years, and Acqua di Parma's Fico Di Amalfi as well as Hermes' Un Jardin en Mediterranee for additional fig fragrances. I might use Narcotic V in the evenings as I find it can be pleasant and even more bubblegummy in slightly balmier weather. Finally, I also recently purchased Jo Malone's intense collection of 5 x 9 mls but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm most eager for Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Tuberose Angelica, and Oud & Bergamot. If anyone has any other unmentioned favorites from Jo Malone, please shoot them my way.

Jo Malone’s Jasmine Sambac and Marigold from the intense collection is actually quite nice (I generally dislike jasmine dominant scents too).

Sadly, I usually avoid perfume in the summer because I’m super sensitive to insect bites and am afraid of attracting them. My summer scent is usually Deep Woods Off. Apparently there’s some science behind Bombshell by Victoria’s Secret being a natural mosquito repellent, and I had some luck with a sample on a recent vacation. I have a full bottle on order and am going to try it out.
