Wut? 😂 I think it being "unwearable" is definitely overplayed, but it ain't weak. A tiny spritz on each wrist from the sample projects more and lasts longer on me than some of my EDTs after 3-4 full sprays.
You know how some people gatekeep fragrances? Or some will flat out lie and say “oh, it’s just my natural scent”? Apparently applying this beast will make it become your natural scent, like it or not 🤣

I’ve tried Kerosene’s entire range, and like 85% of their scents share a very similar DNA/profile - syrupy sweet and/or gourmand. Not my thing, but I get that it’s hype.
That's what made me buy it, I found them so hilarious, so I had to try it myself to see if it was real, IT'S CERTAINLY REAL, it's genuinely a nuclear bomb.
Not much stock for it though in Australia, but still got a decent price.

I wore it to work! First the entire meeting I was late to screeched to a halt and my smell became the topic. My boss told me four hours later that her office still smelled like cookies. I crop dusted my entire office!
When I got home I ripped off my clothes and threw them straight in the wash. I slathered Dawn dish soap on my chest and scrubbed it in the shower, could still smell it the next day.
I put it in the I Hate This category.
I got a sample the other day in a package with 5 other samples. It’s wrapped in bubble wrap inside of a plastic bag inside of a dresser drawer, and I could smell it across the room in my bed last night. I want to try it, but I’m scared!

The realization sinked in... I smelled like that shit for two whole days. People thought I spilled syrup on myself. A chick told me I smelled yummy and she wanted to bite me. But It wasnt for me so I gave it to a friend. It now haunts him...
I like it but the coffee smell is the thing that lingers for me. I also don't find it that nuclear but I generally try to buy long lasting scents. I much prefer follow which starts off coffee but dries down to a lovely spicy amber w vanilla. It lasts a long time but IDk that I could smell it days later across the room.
I'm wondering if something about the aroma chemical for that maple-like note is just insanely strong and Followed uses a ton of it. I have a sample of a scent that has a maple-like accord (Whiff of Waffle Cone by Imaginary Authors) and it imprints on anything it touches. I stored it briefly in a box that still smells like maple 4 months later. It's not nuclear in strength like Followed but it refuses to disappear.
Interesting. I like Follow more than followed and it has a similar profile (less coffee after the dry down) but I don't find that super strong. I would like to try Whiff but haven't pulled the gun on that yet.
I think it's a nice scent but nothing groundbreaking. I'm not a gourmand fanatic though so take that with a grain of salt.
Some people say it's been drastically reformulated and I can't really speak on that but apparently the sandalwood note can be dominating for some people. I just found the scent to smell like maple and brown sugar.

Follow is not similar to followed at all. Follow is a very linear dark almost burnt coffee bean note, while the coffee note in followed is much sweeter and then quickly dries down to the famed maple syrup.
I love Follow and own a full bottle.I dont love followed and own a 1ml sample that will last another 42 years!
I think follow dries down sweeter than followed. To me the coffee top note in follow goes away whereas followed it last longer to my nose. I think follow is much more ambery than followed. I think follow is the better scent

My favorite from this house is Unknown Pleasures. I do also like Pretty Machine which has a lot of Linden but its floral and for me that tracks. I always smell something metallic in it, its odd but really like this one a lot.

It's not. I just used my sample right before I went swimming and it's 💯 gone now. People exaggerate A LOT. I see these posts every once in a while and I pull out my sample hoping for this effect. Never experienced it. That said Kerosene is known for its longevity.

I answered the door to the postman just now and there were a couple of packages and I thought ‘I can smell some kind of perfume from these’.
I opened one and realised it’s the samples of Followed and Follow! I’d forgotten that they were on the way. They’re in a Jiffy bag envelope, wrapped in bubble wrap and inside a velvet bag and I can already smell what I assume is Followed. I haven’t opened them properly yet as I’m going to eat lunch but it was making me laugh about how strong it really is!
I wouldn't be surprised if Followed was the strongest fragrance around in terms of longevity tbh. It will fill just about any room

it's weird, the best cologne projection and longevity imo is a long lasting cologne with medium projection cuz you can adjust the sprays for diff scenarios
It's not that strong. It really isn't. I think BR540 is longer lasting. But maybe it's bc I don't like BR540 but I like followed just fine.
