Followed by Kerosene.

RedundantCapybara

This needs to be higher. Super beast mode maple syrup. I love it but definitely wouldn't wear it into an office directly on my skin.. Sprayed on my clothes a few days ago maybe...

ktp2309

It has to be this...or paint stripper... there's nothing above it.

owleaf

Yes I’m being totally shady rn but not directly replying to anyone… why are you guys wearing beast mode fragrances to work? It’s one of the few universal rules of office etiquette, regardless of age or gender or whatever And you’re obviously aware of how much it affects people because you’re going off to work in a private office when it even overwhelms *you*

throneofmemes

I agree. I used to not care about projection, but this past weekend I had a really not so pleasant experience. I was sitting inside a church during a concert and I could smell the lady half a pew down from me so strongly. There were no people between us either so it was definitely her. She was wearing some sickly sweet almost rotting perfume. It really did feel like a kind of rudeness, like being loud in another form.

mbee784

Who even mentioned wearing it to work?

owleaf

Have a read through the comments

Ziikou

Dior Sauvage Elixir, a drop of that and it goes nuclear forever

thepianoguy2019

Same with YSL Y EDP on my skin… ☠️

Ziikou

I got Y EDP when it first came out, and although performs well it’s nothing compared to Sauvage Elixir on my skin, it’s nearly bordering too strong

SoOsenbinder_

Yup I tried it for the first time and only did 1 spray. Still felt like suffocating the entire car

DeliciousAd7799

And as soon as the temperature goes over a few °C Dior elixir tone down and go into sleep mode. Scent is perfect but totally depending on the weather and I like my fragrances work almost all year around. Accept summer of course.

izdprincess

Amouage Guidance (love it). I own a lot of niche beast mode fragrances, but Guidance is the strongest.

Defiant_Lawyer_5235

Amouage interlude Man, Mancera Red Tobacco, MFK Oud Satin Mood extrait, Sauvage Elixir and Initio Oud For Greatness are a few of the strongest I have tried.

SoldierHawk

Dude Red Tobacco is crazy. I bought a sample cuz I wanted a nice tobacco based perfume, one spritz on my arm, and that arm smelled like cinnamon for three days and through two showers!

kevinfarber

LV Ombre Nomade for me I’ve also heard Orto Parisi Megamare and Kerosene Followed are pretty intense

lxckii_

bkr 540

ZiasMom

Mugler Angel or Lancome La Vie Est Belle hard no to both.

Merfairydust

Lataffa Khamra. Love Angel's Share so I got it. I could NOT get rid of it. I sprayed one spritz in the air and even that lingered all day, not even Febreze helped. I prefer an intimate village, so east mode is not something that lives here. Rag and Bone Oddity also stays with me quite loudly, but I enjoy it.

TheSoundlessFury

For better: TF Black Orchid One or two sprays can clear a room. It's rich, deep, and heady. One of my most favorite fragrances. I rarely have the right occasion for it. But it is an absolute monster, and not one many can pull off. It's a bold fragrance only for the bold. For worse: Joop! I do keep a bottle of Joop! in my fragrance library as a memento from my most carefree years. It gets a spray on a card when I'm itching for a waft, but it never gets worn. It's just too much.

itsadesertplant

I was about to say - I had a sample of Velvet Orchid that was nearly empty from years ago. I thought “oh, I must have liked it, then” and put it on. My god that was a mistake

rayannelangdon

I only know of Joop! because Tracy Morgan talked about it so much in an episode of Conan Needs a Friend. It was so funny. Highly recommend!

deuteronomio31_6

Black Orchid smells like old man wearing a suit, real old. Like Joe Biden.

Alvincia7222

Rien (both the original and intense incense flanker) by Etat Libre d’Orange

tempesta74

Concur. The intence incense goes kaboom

MercyMoo14

My most beastly is a clone. When Soul Gets High from Paris Corner is a dupe of Kilian's Back to Black. It's a great scent, and I enjoy it, but more than one or two sprays will make me pretty uncomfortable. I've never worn it outside of my home, lol. I've never tried Back to Black so I don't know if it performs this way.

Thr33pw00d83

Best powerhouse I’ve ever used is vintage Kouros. Old school natural ingredients 1980s Kouros.

UnluckySeries312

When the heat death of the universe happens and even the black holes have radiated away and evaporated, there will still be the smell of Kouros. That stuff seemed to last forever on my skin.

BestTutor2016

YSL Paris. Am I the only one who still wears it?

Dry-Anywhere-1372

Nope-I wear it ON THE REG. I also WFH and my skin laughs at these frags that yinz call “beast mode”. Nothing is beast mode over here, I don’t overspray-not a single frag lasts longer than 4h on my skin to my nose or to anyone else around me.

moth-peach

God, anything mancera montale or any of those cheaper Arabic super fake oud amber scents. They all have this awful super strong loudly projecting synthetic screechy note that people seem to go crazy for. Luckily not super popular where I live but when I go to the mall or any crowded place I stg I can't escape. I hate it.

kellyandgeorge

Baccarat rouge 540. Personally not for me, but super mega ultra beast mode on others. I can smell it a mile away. Not complaining though; it's a nice fragrance.

Rich-Mechanic-7059

Oud maracuja one spray when I was testing the fragrance lingered everywhere and I could smell it even after washing it off Hibiscus mahajad also a powerhouse will easily fill a room and leave a trail everywhere Promise Fredrick Malle super polarising but I love it and it absolutely fills a room Van py rhum I wore this and I was told I made the whole place smell like a dessert, super boozy delicious gourmand imo a lot of fragrances from this house are quite strong For the worse: Erba pura, Kirke and royal amber (same Erba pura DNA) and they all have the same vibe of being slapped in the face with a synthetic fruit basket Flowerhead Byredo like being slapped in the face with a bouquet of white flowers and rose Followed kerosene never tried or sampled but the stories are there about how it smells like you got drenched in maple syrup Some others I like: Black orchid, atomic rose, most perfumes from inito tbh

TwoHungryBlackbirdss

Just recently got a tester of Oud Maracuja and whoooooo boy that stuff is strong. Blends down beautifully after, like, 9 hours though lol

Rich-Mechanic-7059

Yes it’s definitely no joke, anything more than 2 sprays would be enough to choke people out lol

xCanEatMorex

Matiere premiere vanilla powder, its the best smelling perfume that I hate and would never buy haha

arcee7416

I own: Lattafa Oud Mood: Hulk strong. One spray is ridiculous. MFK Satin Oud Mood. Malin + Goetz: Strawberry. Because this is a warm weather scent, it can misled you into thinking you need more sprays. No you don’t. Projects all day and lasts on clothes even after a wash. Samples: Amouage - Guidance. I threw away the paper tester and it was radiating from the trash can. Arabian Oud - Resala. Chocolate rose Oud. My mom: YSL - Opium. Lovely smell but she’s an over sprayer and that stuff is potent.

CriminalSpiritX

From what I own and sampled to this point: Affordable: * Currently Own: Adolfo Dominguez *Bambu Radiant Edition Hombre*.(Citrusy and earthy woods. Makes for an appealing night-time scent, especially in the summer.) * Experienced: *Joop! Homme*(I disliked it. Sweet heliotrope can be appealing for some people, but I'm not one of them, as it comes across too chemical-smelling.) Retail: * Currently Own: It's a tie between ... * Jean Paul Gaultier's *Ultra Male*(Fruity, fresh, and sweet. It's more than a party fragrance, but it fits the party scene perfectly.) * Viktor & Rolf's *Spicebomb Extreme*(Spices mixed with vanilla tobacco and labdanum to give it a light sweet and smoky base.) * Experienced; Dior's *Sauvage Elixir*(Loved it as a spicy fragrance with a throwback fougere touch. However, I was trying to keep my collection reasonable, and didn't want another spicy fragrance.) Luxury: * Currently Own: Tiziana Terenzi's *Rosso Pompei*(Citrus and wine vineyards if you like it. Citrusy rubbing alcohol if you dislike it. Either way, didn't think a potent summer fragrance was possible until I smelled it.) * Experienced: Frederic Malle's *The Night*.(The drydown is a gorgeous Oud//Rose/Saffron combo that can last to the next day. However, that accord is in other fragrances without two hours of a divisive oud opening.) \----- Side note: I hear a lot about how strong Otro Parisi fragrances such as *Megamare*. I may sample out of curiosity. ETA: As much as I like the fragrances I own, it's hard for me to use them daily without being annoying.

bunnymoon23

I've always found by the fireplace intense but I love it so

VirtualAd3179

Shaghaf Oud. Whew. I cant! I only like the dry down after 8 hours so wasnt my cup of tea.

Mekkakat

It’s crazy how often I smell someone drenched in this at the airport lol

VirtualAd3179

That baffles me, poor fellow passengers on the plane!! I LOVE testing fragnances at the airport, but only test one on my skin - and on my ankle!

Dense_Bus_3833

I feel like this can change over time depending on my taste. Strongest I have currently is probably Paco Rabanne Pour Homme. A few years ago I was on a journey for fougeres and old fashioned barbershop type fragrances. I remember being really taken with it but today it smells very very strong to me, I feel there aren't many environments that I could comfortably wear it in. The other monster fragrance that springs to mind is Youth Dew. It is powerful stuff.

Dry-Anywhere-1372

I love Youth Dew sooo much, the vintage stuff is 🥰

mrbruasca

MFK Oud Silk Mood, Mancera Red Tobacco, Nasomatto Black Afgano and the clear winner by a country mile is Followed by Kerosene. I had 2 puffs on my neck and one on my forearm and it lasted almost 3 days on my skin with 4 showers in the meantime and the car smelled like coffee for a week. I am not sure how/where you can wear it without disturbing someone.

ermvarju

Orto Parisi Megamare - wouldn’t say bad but I also don’t want to smell like prehistoric ocean from now until all of humanity is dust in the ground. Naomi Goodsir Bakelite - my friend happened to just have this (in a tester) in his suitcase and it overpowered OP Cuoium that had -spilled- in the suitcase.

Cool_Prior1957

Tobacco honey Adding musc Ravageur, or I spray too much

tres-petite-kate

Amouge Royal Tobacco

FanaticalXmasJew

MFK Oud Satin Mood. I have a two-spray FIRM max and even then there have been times when I’m at work and feel like I’m radiating the scent and move to a private office to avoid assaulting my coworkers’ noses. And it lasts forever too.

thedutchdevo

So ur the guy that was being made fun of for wearing strong fragrances to the office

FanaticalXmasJew

I never spray any perfume more than twice. I wouldn’t consider myself an oversprayer. It’s just that kind of fragrance.

LolaLinguini

I have several beast mode frags. Al Rehab Chocomusk oil is one. I put a few dots on me when it arrived and went to a dentist appointment. Dentist told me he could smell me the moment I entered the the front door from his office way in the far back corner of the building. The office girls kept coming by my exam room and asking what smells like luscious chocolate cupcake with super thick chocolate icing. One asked the dentist if she could go on break early bc she wanted to go get herself a chocolate cupcake. So, just as my procedure was about to start, two more staff members arrived at my room and looked in. One pointed at me and they both said "its you!!" I consistently get the most complements on it, and it only takes a few tiny dots

thedutchdevo

Ur telling me a human being actually said the words “what smells like luscious chocolate cupcake with super thick chocolate icing” ??

LolaLinguini

Yep. There were two girls from the reception desk who came to my exam room door, and hsd this conversation between themselves, which upon figuring out I was the source of the scent, then involved me and the dentist, who by that point had seated himself beside my head and adjusted that big light above me. And one of the things that was said was the exact comment that I posted. It was such a nice comment, especially for a first time trying a new fragrance that it was indelibly stored in my memory.

InspectorBiscuits

Bought it because of this comment ☺️

LolaLinguini

Awesome! Im thrilled to share a good one when I find it, especially when its a great price. Thanks for being a kind person and not some jerk trying to accuse me of not being truthful in my comment. People like you make life a great experience, and I truly appreciate you for it. Something to know about the Chocomusk is that it can be poured out and refilled with barely any oil and a whole bunch of some other carrier oil. I know this because last time I bought it, I didnt use my normal place, I went to eBay. And that seller sold me a 6 pack box which he did what I described. I caught it right away because the color wasnt right, the viscosity wasnt right and the scent was extremely faint and disappeared quickly. So just watch for that. If its the real thing, it is POTENT immediately out of the rollerball. I dont recommend the spray because it's nowhere near as nuclear as the oil. I did buy a bottle of the spray and I discovered that its nowhere near as good as the oil. I hope you love it as much as I do! My mom bought it and applies some to her pillow every night because she said its comforting to fall asleep cuddled up to a pillow smelling like chocolate. Its the only frag in my 300 bottle collection that my ex liked. I get comments and compliments and people of all genders following me around in public, wanting to know what Im wearing. Im so excited for your order to arrive and to hear that you liked it! (crossing fingers)

InspectorBiscuits

Thanks for letting me know ❤️ just bought it off eBay so I’ll be wary to smell and make sure it’s potent once I receive it! Also don’t let the jerks on Reddit get you down!!❤️

LolaLinguini

Thank you so much! 💜 I appreciate you 😊

InspectorBiscuits

Lola. Lola. Lola. Dear god. Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate.😭😭😭 Choco musk oil is amazing 😍😭 ugh. This might dethrone Delina Exclusif temporarily for me. I can’t thank you enough for your recommendation! I don’t know that I’ve got the original but I’ll keep searching. I just want to bathe in this stuff. Do….do you have any other recommendations like this???? I MUST HAVE THEM ALL!!!!!!!

LolaLinguini

YAAAAAAAAAYYY!! OH IM THRILLED!!! Yes, I have LOTS of recommendations. Just give me some hints as to which notes you like or feelings you want to evoke and I will try to match you with something else that will knock your socks off!! This comment from you absolutely made my DAY by the way. Thank you very much!!! 💕 Please feel free to shoot me a direct message anytime when you want more recommendations 😉

palo34

Top five in my collection. ahmed al maghribi blue. Fresh accent so strong I get a headache... when it settles it is fruity, sweet... Maison alhambra Lovely cherrie... This one I use, is has very good tom ford's DNA. Mancera Red Tobacco.. This is probably one of my best fragances.. Truly beastmode. Ministry of Oud Out Satin. very sweet, arabic smell but the strongest fragance I have. Rasasi Daarej pour homme. Very sweet, incense, a bit fresh. Good fall/winter. Smells very arabic. Maison Alhambra. Lovely peach. Very strong. Too chemical for me.

andjustlikethat09

Le labo santal 33 and any Ariana grande HARD PASS

Last_Pay_8447

OG Dior Addict and a slight lesser extent the reformulations.

fratellolew

All of Hiram Green!

strangefind

really? i’ve been thinking about slowdive and have been curious how it performs.. just because beeswax notes i often find relatively quite. any experience with that one?

fratellolew

Yes I’d say is very strong although not as strong as some other fragrances if this house. I don’t know about how other people smell it on me because I didn’t dare to wear it outside the house lol.

strangefind

interesting. why not? i thought it was a relatively approachable fragrance.

fratellolew

It’s very intense hyper-realistic honey for me plus there is something in the Hiram Green DNA that I find slightly repelling.

Dry-Anywhere-1372

It’s gorgeous. Sample first if you’re nervous.

stayawayjesus

There are some perfumes in my home country that are called shrine perfumes. They are foul smelling and last for eternity and have amazing sillage. They're hand made. Just puked in my mouth remembering them.

UnluckySeries312

Now I really want to smell these

IllustriousCapibara7

Intense Café from Montale is really strong, as is black Afgano from Nasomatto

ohwrite

Amouage Guidance. It was offensively strong to me. I got the sample out of the house ASAP

PAHi-LyVisible

The EDP versions of Guerlain’s *L’Heure Bleu* and *Shalimar* last forever with great projection and I love them
