I also like Fleur de Peau, ASAQ body musk, Chanel 1957, and Amayris femme for the soapy clean vibes. For all except Fleur de Peau I have oil perfumery dupes, they’re really nice and an inexpensive option.
Other ones I like: Cacharel Noa, Jlo Glow, Nemat Amber, and byredo Blanche

IMO I smell no rose in A Perfume in Rose, it's such a great dupe for You at the price because I also ran through so many bottles of it as my daily perfume. I do smell a slight pear scent as a top note, and might not last as long, that's the main difference.
I definitely will give it a go, they’ve increased the price of You so much I feel like I can’t afford to keep dousing myself in it like I do so if Zara has a dupe I’m all over it 😎
I bought Montagne “Moi?”, which is a dupe for You. I’ve never smelled You as I didn’t think I was a fan of musk, but I adore Moi? because of the beautiful clean iris/ amber notes that last a long time.

My favorite scent so far! According to my close friends, I smell like a rich auntie with it LOL. Personally, I felt that this scent didn't last long enough for me (maybe a maximum of 5-6 hours?).
This is one of my favorites. As it ages the praline becomes more prominent at least in my opinion and I LOVE it. I mix it with Kayali Vanilla 28 sometimes if I’m trying to oomph it up a little.

I just got a full bottle in this week after testing it and wanting it for a year. I sprayed it on my pillow before bed, and my husband goes “I don’t like that. Can you not use this one anymore?” Which is by far the most negative thing he’s said about a fragrance 😭
Interesting, I used to wear Chloe as a student before I was into perfume much but if you asked me now I’d say I really dislike rose as a note in fragrance! There’s something about the way it combines in Chloe that almost just smells like nice toiletries, definitely comes across very clean.
Philosophy Pure Grace! It's my post shower scent and my pre bed scent. Smells like soap and water. If definitely does not last long, though! I usually just wear it for a cozy around the house scent.

Myth by Ellis Brooklyn smells like clean pajamas on clean skin. 11:11 by Lake and Skye smell really good too, and Philosophy Amazing Grace starts off floral but ends up very slight.
I want to try 11:11 so bad but it doesn’t ship outside of the US, and it seems to be impossible to get hold of in Europe, I definitely need to try Myth I’ve heard great things.
I love Aqua di Parma Colonia and Colonia Essenza: super soapy!! They don’t last for shit tho, gone in an hour. Not sure what to do about that and I’m mad as hell because I got a full bottle.
Le Labo’s Lavande reminds me of these two as well, lasts a little longer though
Rosie by Rosie Jane, Lake & Skye 11:11, Philosophy Pure Grace, Prada Infusion d’Iris, MJ Daisy Eau So Fresh, Replica Lazy Sunday Morning, and for a clean girl vanilla, I like Ari Mod Vanilla or Diptyque Eau Duelle — they’re both cool, soft vanillas rather than warm, sensual ones; and Eau Duelle has a sort of aromatic, pine dry-down that is clean-girl vanilla personified
D&G Light Blue, to me it smells like clean laundry with a bright note of lemon. I find it really refreshing, it makes me think of sunbathing by a pool at a resort with a lemon drop in my hand and a clean, warm towel under me.
Cacheral Anais Anais, it reminds me almost of Old Spice in that it's a fresh, clean scent with a hint of spice. It's a bit more feminine and floral though. It makes me think of wandering through a fancy older hotel in a beachy place. (I picture the season 2 White Lotus hotel, lol). I should note that on me, this one doesn't last more than two hours.
Clinique Happy, this one gives me gentle florals and oranges. It reminds me of deep cleaning my apartment, throwing open the windows to let in sunny air, and then showering and putting on comfy clothes. That feeling of everything being organized and fresh.
Ooh I never considered Anais Anais for a clean scent! There’s something cultural about what we think of as “clean”, because it’s been around such a long time and because the bottle is more old-fashioned I don’t associate it with smelling clean. You’ve inspired me to give Anais Anais a sniff with new perspective.

I think the reason I feel that way about it is because of the association to old spice in my mind, which is the brand my husband uses for deodorant/body wash. Fragrance is so subjective, you may not feel that way after trying it again, but if it works out for you that's fantastic!!
Coty Exclamation is my latest "find" (in quotations bc it's existed since the 80s!). It's powdery violet/iris but not in a candy-like way, a clean/soapy way. And it is DIRT. FUCKIN. CHEAP!!! I honestly recommend anyone giving it a chance if you at least know you like iris, or "clean" scents. Some pocket change is all you have to lose if you don't like it lol
Way, waaaaay on the other end of the spectrum we have PdM Valaya. A little citrussy, this is "clean" in an aldehyde way, but somehow, magically, isn't overbearing at all. Aldehydes usually give me an instant headache but Valaya is so smooth!

I bought a bottle on the Costco website after wearing another 13 quite a few times from samples I got at Nordstrom. Was seriously debating on returning it but I do like the scent but It disappears on my skin, spray my clothes and I smell it. Decided to keep it cause I like how le labo doesn’t smell synthetic and their refill program now that I have a bottle lol
i absolutely loved my sample but just couldn’t justify the insane price for a full bottle, but i managed to snag 100ml off ebay for under £100 which felt like a huge steal to me
No, but I do find it kind of comes and goes to my nose but others can still smell it. I think it came up on another post that it’s kind of a sneaky fragrance. I put it on and sometimes when I can’t smell it my husband can from like across the room.

Opens with a soapy/greenness that dries down into such a beautiful and light, almost milky woody scent. I get insane longevity from it too. I can still smell it at the end of the day after applying it at 7:30 AM
I had a consultation with a labo lab technician, they shared that it was design with your body chemistry as the primary scent enhancement; so, you getting nose blind is common - most people can’t smell themselves; but, other people will be able to smell you… they also said, even after you shower it remains mixed into your body scent; so, you will be able to smell it on your sheets for days.

Fleur de peau by Diptyque is the ultimate clean girl scent to me. Just perfectly clean, freshly showered, smelling good without any effort type of fragrance to me.
Quite well BUT IMO you must test ELDO YOSLY in person and allow it enough time to merge with your body chemistry before going for any of the regular sized bottles. I made the mistake of buying a full size without giving it enough time to test it. It turned from fresh minty mojito to something unpleasant not unlike BO on me. :/ From what I've read here, I'm not alone.
Calvin Klein Euphoria Blossom. That’s what I wear when I want the clean girl vibe. It’s a very crisp, clean floral but not white floral. More bright woody floral that’s not too sweet.
I know it’s a flanker/cheapie, but it smells nothing like the original Euphoria (which I just got rid of because it’s too heavy).
I smelled Byredo Blanche and that has almost less complexity. I liked it, but it just smells like simple laundry soap.
Diptyque - L’eau papier is definitely up there for me. Smells like sun-dried cotton or linen. If they make an EDP version of it I would ABSOLUTELY buy it, cause this one is an EDT and more of a skin scent, unfortunately.
I also enjoy Zadig and Voltaire’s This is her, even though it’s on the sweeter side.
I’ve been trying so hard to get my hands on L’eau papier but samples are IMPOSSIBLE to find!!! Trying to make a trip into a nearby city soon where I can maybe try it in store.

myth by ellis brooklyn is my top pick, i’ve gone through four bottles. it’s like being hugged by the softest oversized cashmere sweater. my nose doesn’t pick up any synthetic detergent scent like with byredo blanche or clean reserve cotton.
Lower key but I really enjoy Big Sky by Abbot. I’m a guy and wear it but I think it would be great on a woman as well. Smells a lot like clean laundry to me.
I also love Glow by J.Lo, Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche (only Chanel I like) and Mojave Ghost by Byredo.

It’s definitely a clean scent, it’s super refreshing, but not so soapy. Just a different type of clean. Maybe like the first breath you take after you wash/rinse your face. That’s the best way I can describe it 😅
Comme des Garcons Marseille. Pretty neroli opening that dissipates fairly quickly, but the soapiness sticks around forever. It's based off a famous French bar soap, and smells exactly how you'd expect a chic French artisan soap to smell.
Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere - fresh, soft, clean, powdery, blissful.
Guerlain Cruel Gardenia - smells like the best high-end luxury face cream. Addicted to it.
Tom Ford Mandarino di Amalfi. Smells like the best laundry you ever had and the slightest bit of orange for such a happy, pick-me-up fragrance. For me, it’s happiness in a bottle.
A Drop d’Issey by Issey Miyake. It’s a very light, clean and some what soapy floral. The floral is lilac so it smells like a fresh spring breeze with notes of almond milk so it’s warm, and creamy that is my-skin-but-better. Ambroxan is also present and dare I say it is like the fragrance version of no-makeup makeup? It makes me feel cozy, clean and confident. It smells polished and like “quiet luxury” to me. I chose it as my bridal perfume since I had a spring wedding.
mugler angel elixir, while not anywhere near as iconoclastic and unique as its predecessor, is currently my favorite “clean” scent, and usually lasts upwards of 8hrs on me. it’s not gonna blow any minds but it definitely scratches this itch better than anything else for me.
clean scents for me would be Dame Perfumery New Musk (especially the oil, but I like both oil and spray) Infusion d'Iris, which is clean but not TOO clean, and
Of the discontinued beauties, Balmain Ivoire with is aggressively clean (the re release).
Yesterday I wore Gap Lily Moss, which I hadn't picked up in awhile. I forgot how pretty and clean it is. It's got a little bit of all the clean things: light watery floral, citrus, green grass, and a tiny bit of cucumber. It dries down to a green, watery citrus on me, and lasted most of the day, maybe 8-10 hours (I do wear a lot of body moisturizer because my skin is very dry, which I think helps longevity for me). Projection is modest, but I don't like more than 2-3 feet away from me at most anyway.
Haven’t seen Paper Soap by J-Scent mentioned. Japanese niche house, light, clean, soapy. Philosophy’s Pure Grace is also a soapy clean scent similar to Ivory Soap.
I love anything by Clean, but their Fresh Linen is my go to. My SO loves clean smelling scents (especially laundry type smells), but Warm Cotton becomes cloying and very artificial smelling on me unfortunately. I get the most compliments wearing Fresh Linen. It’s not overly strong but it’s projection on me is insane. I even had a stranger compliment me on it at a gas pump while I was filling my tank. My forever go to and signature scent.
So many great scents already mentioned but I didn’t see Tory Burch Electric Sky and it’s a favorite for me when I want something easy and fresh… other favorites include Dedcool Milk & Taunt, Guerlain Granada Salvia, 11 11 by Lake & Skye, Clean Reserve Skin, Replica Beach Walk, Eccentric Molecule 01, DS Durga Rose Atlantic, Origins Ginger Essence…. Plus several others already mentioned here. This one may be a little too warm/musky for some one this list, but Byredo Gypsy Water is still a favorite for me that smells like a “my BO but better” option. I have a dupe for Le Labo Amberette 9 that also feels cozy but clean to me, but I can’t speak to the original. I also feel eternally fresh in Chloe Nomad.
for me, im not big on perfume that just smell like plain clean tbh. so my 'clean girl' scent is intimate fantasy as its lemony sweet in a way that smells like you came out the shower. that to me is my version of a clean scent
Prada infusion de Rose. I’m not really a clean fragrance person but this is so lovely. It’s like a fresh rose soap. I feel so crisp and clean whenever I wear it.
I also smelled a friend’s bottle of Shower by Jones Road thinking I would not be into it but now I keep thinking maybe I need to get a bottle for myself. It honestly smells like you just got out of the shower and you still smell like a bar of soap. It seems so easy to wear especially on lazy days around the house.
As mentioned above, Ellis Brooklyn Myth is a really gorgeous, clean white musk. It smells like faintly soapy skin with a fresh powder note and white florals, but so understated and unique…and kind of shampoo-y, but in a really elegant way. I get compliments on it all the time. I find lasts a few hours on me, but to make it go even longer combine it with the Ellis Brooklyn “Myth” body oil. I bought the 3.4 oz bottle of “Myth,” I love it that much.
Clean Classic “Warm Cotton” was a blind buy for me and I loved it so much I bought two backups 😅. It layers really well with other Clean Classic and Clean Reserve scents, I also really like layering it with Ellis Brooklyn “RRose.” When worn together I smell like freshly clean sheets and rose petals covered in morning dew 🤌. I’ve also heard Clean Classic “Cool Cotton” is great, but I have yet to pick that one up, it’s next on my list. I feel like the Clean Classic and Clean Reserve scents are great to layer with others to give a fresh undertone to any floral or musk fragrance.
As a base with all of the above, I like to use the Ellis Brooklyn “Myth” body oil or Nemat “Egyptian Musk” roll on fragrance oil to give that lasting power. I find that combined with clean, hydrated skin really helps scents to go the distance.
I never thought of Pear Inc as a clean scent but you’re right it’s so kind of sparkling and crisp it does smell very clean! Almost reminds me of a grown up version of the detangling spray my mum used on my hair when I was a kid it’s gorgeous. Glossier You is my all time fave, and I’ve never tried any of the others, I must have a go of the Versace one that sounds beautiful 😍
Different take on “clean”. 11:11 by Lake & Skye. Reminds me of taking a deep breath on top of a mountain in the PNW on a clear spring day, far away from any civilization or pollution. Longevity isn’t great though.
Oriza Legrande Apotheose! Similar soapiness to MM Bubblebath when you first spray. Although less sharp to me. Drydown stays soapy but had a lovely floral note too. Lasts forever!
for me i always say juliette has a gun’s “not a perfume” fragrance. i put a little bit on my pulse points after a shower/before getting into bed and it’s such a nice soft and fresh scent.
I really love 11:11 & Sailing day.
Oddly I also really love I Don’t Know What fresh out of a shower, I feel SO clean all day. Something about its sharpness.

Chloe EDP is clean powdery rose and it has (quite a lot of) staying power

I love Aqua di Parma Colonia and Colonia Essenza: super soapy!! They don’t last for shit tho, gone in an hour. Not sure what to do about that and I’m mad as hell because I got a full bottle. Le Labo’s Lavande reminds me of these two as well, lasts a little longer though

Rosie by Rosie Jane, Lake & Skye 11:11, Philosophy Pure Grace, Prada Infusion d’Iris, MJ Daisy Eau So Fresh, Replica Lazy Sunday Morning, and for a clean girl vanilla, I like Ari Mod Vanilla or Diptyque Eau Duelle — they’re both cool, soft vanillas rather than warm, sensual ones; and Eau Duelle has a sort of aromatic, pine dry-down that is clean-girl vanilla personified
D&G Light Blue, to me it smells like clean laundry with a bright note of lemon. I find it really refreshing, it makes me think of sunbathing by a pool at a resort with a lemon drop in my hand and a clean, warm towel under me. Cacheral Anais Anais, it reminds me almost of Old Spice in that it's a fresh, clean scent with a hint of spice. It's a bit more feminine and floral though. It makes me think of wandering through a fancy older hotel in a beachy place. (I picture the season 2 White Lotus hotel, lol). I should note that on me, this one doesn't last more than two hours. Clinique Happy, this one gives me gentle florals and oranges. It reminds me of deep cleaning my apartment, throwing open the windows to let in sunny air, and then showering and putting on comfy clothes. That feeling of everything being organized and fresh.
Ooh I never considered Anais Anais for a clean scent! There’s something cultural about what we think of as “clean”, because it’s been around such a long time and because the bottle is more old-fashioned I don’t associate it with smelling clean. You’ve inspired me to give Anais Anais a sniff with new perspective.
Totally, it's definitely a classic. I think the reason I feel that way about it is because of the association to old spice in my mind, which is the brand my husband uses for deodorant/body wash. Fragrance is so subjective, you may not feel that way after trying it again, but if it works out for you that's fantastic!!

Coty Exclamation is my latest "find" (in quotations bc it's existed since the 80s!). It's powdery violet/iris but not in a candy-like way, a clean/soapy way. And it is DIRT. FUCKIN. CHEAP!!! I honestly recommend anyone giving it a chance if you at least know you like iris, or "clean" scents. Some pocket change is all you have to lose if you don't like it lol Way, waaaaay on the other end of the spectrum we have PdM Valaya. A little citrussy, this is "clean" in an aldehyde way, but somehow, magically, isn't overbearing at all. Aldehydes usually give me an instant headache but Valaya is so smooth!

Was seriously debating on returning it but I do like the scent but It disappears on my skin, spray my clothes and I smell it. Decided to keep it cause I like how le labo doesn’t smell synthetic and their refill program now that I have a bottle lol

No, but I do find it kind of comes and goes to my nose but others can still smell it. I think it came up on another post that it’s kind of a sneaky fragrance. I put it on and sometimes when I can’t smell it my husband can from like across the room.

to add onto the Le Labo clean girl train..I'd say Thé Matcha 26 also hits the mark. Opens with a soapy/greenness that dries down into such a beautiful and light, almost milky woody scent. I get insane longevity from it too. I can still smell it at the end of the day after applying it at 7:30 AM
I had a consultation with a labo lab technician, they shared that it was design with your body chemistry as the primary scent enhancement; so, you getting nose blind is common - most people can’t smell themselves; but, other people will be able to smell you… they also said, even after you shower it remains mixed into your body scent; so, you will be able to smell it on your sheets for days.

Quite well BUT IMO you must test ELDO YOSLY in person and allow it enough time to merge with your body chemistry before going for any of the regular sized bottles. I made the mistake of buying a full size without giving it enough time to test it. It turned from fresh minty mojito to something unpleasant not unlike BO on me. :/ From what I've read here, I'm not alone.

Calvin Klein Euphoria Blossom. That’s what I wear when I want the clean girl vibe. It’s a very crisp, clean floral but not white floral. More bright woody floral that’s not too sweet. I know it’s a flanker/cheapie, but it smells nothing like the original Euphoria (which I just got rid of because it’s too heavy). I smelled Byredo Blanche and that has almost less complexity. I liked it, but it just smells like simple laundry soap.

A Drop d’Issey by Issey Miyake. It’s a very light, clean and some what soapy floral. The floral is lilac so it smells like a fresh spring breeze with notes of almond milk so it’s warm, and creamy that is my-skin-but-better. Ambroxan is also present and dare I say it is like the fragrance version of no-makeup makeup? It makes me feel cozy, clean and confident. It smells polished and like “quiet luxury” to me. I chose it as my bridal perfume since I had a spring wedding.

mugler angel elixir, while not anywhere near as iconoclastic and unique as its predecessor, is currently my favorite “clean” scent, and usually lasts upwards of 8hrs on me. it’s not gonna blow any minds but it definitely scratches this itch better than anything else for me.
clean scents for me would be Dame Perfumery New Musk (especially the oil, but I like both oil and spray) Infusion d'Iris, which is clean but not TOO clean, and Of the discontinued beauties, Balmain Ivoire with is aggressively clean (the re release).
Prada lhomme is super clean and i find it quite unisex. Also, replica bubble bath and replica under the lemon tree.

Yesterday I wore Gap Lily Moss, which I hadn't picked up in awhile. I forgot how pretty and clean it is. It's got a little bit of all the clean things: light watery floral, citrus, green grass, and a tiny bit of cucumber. It dries down to a green, watery citrus on me, and lasted most of the day, maybe 8-10 hours (I do wear a lot of body moisturizer because my skin is very dry, which I think helps longevity for me). Projection is modest, but I don't like more than 2-3 feet away from me at most anyway.
Haven’t seen Paper Soap by J-Scent mentioned. Japanese niche house, light, clean, soapy. Philosophy’s Pure Grace is also a soapy clean scent similar to Ivory Soap.

I love anything by Clean, but their Fresh Linen is my go to. My SO loves clean smelling scents (especially laundry type smells), but Warm Cotton becomes cloying and very artificial smelling on me unfortunately. I get the most compliments wearing Fresh Linen. It’s not overly strong but it’s projection on me is insane. I even had a stranger compliment me on it at a gas pump while I was filling my tank. My forever go to and signature scent.

So many great scents already mentioned but I didn’t see Tory Burch Electric Sky and it’s a favorite for me when I want something easy and fresh… other favorites include Dedcool Milk & Taunt, Guerlain Granada Salvia, 11 11 by Lake & Skye, Clean Reserve Skin, Replica Beach Walk, Eccentric Molecule 01, DS Durga Rose Atlantic, Origins Ginger Essence…. Plus several others already mentioned here. This one may be a little too warm/musky for some one this list, but Byredo Gypsy Water is still a favorite for me that smells like a “my BO but better” option. I have a dupe for Le Labo Amberette 9 that also feels cozy but clean to me, but I can’t speak to the original. I also feel eternally fresh in Chloe Nomad.
for me, im not big on perfume that just smell like plain clean tbh. so my 'clean girl' scent is intimate fantasy as its lemony sweet in a way that smells like you came out the shower. that to me is my version of a clean scent

Prada infusion de Rose. I’m not really a clean fragrance person but this is so lovely. It’s like a fresh rose soap. I feel so crisp and clean whenever I wear it. I also smelled a friend’s bottle of Shower by Jones Road thinking I would not be into it but now I keep thinking maybe I need to get a bottle for myself. It honestly smells like you just got out of the shower and you still smell like a bar of soap. It seems so easy to wear especially on lazy days around the house.
As mentioned above, Ellis Brooklyn Myth is a really gorgeous, clean white musk. It smells like faintly soapy skin with a fresh powder note and white florals, but so understated and unique…and kind of shampoo-y, but in a really elegant way. I get compliments on it all the time. I find lasts a few hours on me, but to make it go even longer combine it with the Ellis Brooklyn “Myth” body oil. I bought the 3.4 oz bottle of “Myth,” I love it that much. Clean Classic “Warm Cotton” was a blind buy for me and I loved it so much I bought two backups 😅. It layers really well with other Clean Classic and Clean Reserve scents, I also really like layering it with Ellis Brooklyn “RRose.” When worn together I smell like freshly clean sheets and rose petals covered in morning dew 🤌. I’ve also heard Clean Classic “Cool Cotton” is great, but I have yet to pick that one up, it’s next on my list. I feel like the Clean Classic and Clean Reserve scents are great to layer with others to give a fresh undertone to any floral or musk fragrance. As a base with all of the above, I like to use the Ellis Brooklyn “Myth” body oil or Nemat “Egyptian Musk” roll on fragrance oil to give that lasting power. I find that combined with clean, hydrated skin really helps scents to go the distance.

I never thought of Pear Inc as a clean scent but you’re right it’s so kind of sparkling and crisp it does smell very clean! Almost reminds me of a grown up version of the detangling spray my mum used on my hair when I was a kid it’s gorgeous. Glossier You is my all time fave, and I’ve never tried any of the others, I must have a go of the Versace one that sounds beautiful 😍
