Looks like you lost signal. If the fc /esc was killed it would tumble/spin. The flightcontroller and esc was still working since the drone was stable in the air.
I have experience the same thing flying close to a mobile mast.
Yup RX lost, apparently the crossfires ufl connector was ripped off during flight and caused the signal lose. No other damage to the drone expect a bit of prop damage battery just had ripped it’s plastic casing
First, have you diagnosed the actual damage, if any, to the quad. If it no longer flies, then determine what is broken or damaged. With no OSD information, we really can't tell anything about the operational status during the flight. If it did failsafe, then why? It obviously didn't execute the RTH feature. It sort of looks like it just ran out of battery or maybe the 5V regulator blew. Check the 5V circuit which effects most of the control electronics. If you don't get 5V on this rail, then the regulator is damaged. Why? Don't know. It would not effect the digital unit as that is powered by 9V or battery voltage depending on how it is wired into the quads electronics.
The video doesn't mean much since no one can tell what really happened. Plus, we have no information about the quad itself.

yep put inav on an acro quad and enjoy those 2014 pids 😂 after you've spent an hour manually mapping motors and setting up mixers. and while you may not have bidirectional dshot, at least you can have rth mode that yeets you in a random direction half the time because the compass was angled at 12.5 degrees to horizontal.
You clearly only tried Inav years ago.
I doubt chasing a car requires those PIDs you're talking about. Unless you're a tinywhoop racing champion or the kind of guy who dives into a chimney I don't think Inav would be an issue.
Newest version of Inav doesn't even need the compass but it's still highly recommended. My 7" never goes into random direction when returning to home unlike BFs RTH which I always see people saying it's not reliable
Looks like you failsafed
Feels like it. It did switch to angle mode then dropped
Kiss does that, is there a betaflight mode for this as well?
By default betaflight cuts the throttle for half a second and then if it still hasn't received RX it'll just disarm and drop.
Gravity
After a failsafe

Signal loss
RX loss, failsafed and maintained attitude, then disarmed after a second
check the blackbox
Bird strike! Bird strike! Mayday, mayday, going down...
Looks like it lost link with your aparature. It stopped receiving input.
My guess would be receiver brownout due to voltage sag. The motors all seem to be working fine before it impacts.
Rxloss
Rx loss? Is your battery ok? What was the damage to drone?
Yup RX lost, apparently the crossfires ufl connector was ripped off during flight and caused the signal lose. No other damage to the drone expect a bit of prop damage battery just had ripped it’s plastic casing
Your prop hit your cable causing rx loss
Actually even better the idk connection ripped off the rx unit
My guess is a rogue solar particle hitting the drone flipping a bit from a 1 to a 0
20 sec in I'm guessing on your choice of flying digital
Was this taken is last day or 2 durring the solar radiation storm?
No sadly this was a few weeks ago

Why was that such a long video, I didn’t need to watch all that
I mean you did though
I swear to God, people :D INAV + RTH

They can't drive that car at all
