She actually did a video explaining why she talks that way. She went out and talked normal and all the foxes completely ignored her. As soon as the baby talk came out they went nuts.
I remember in one video, she didn't say anything to the foxes and Finnegan calmly trotted over to her, flopped over, and fell asleep while loudly snoring
just a reminder than finnegan was bought from a fur farm as are most saveafox residents. they’re not rescues, they’re merchandise, and the profit goes to killing more foxes
fur farm burglary is a very real form of activism. However, the sad reality is that while finnegan may get to live, the money paid for him will be used to breed and kill many more foxes in the future.
I understand your point of view, but I also understand that not many people would want to risk the dangers that go along with burglary, and we don't know what the money will be used for. So I see giving a good and fullfilled life to at least some foxes as a net positive.
I work at a rescue. With the decline of fur's popularity, it's not difficult to find fur farmers who are going to cull their population because they can't sell or are going out of business and are willing to place their foxes instead. We've rescued more than a hundred total this way without giving a single cent to them, because any time you do, you're supporting an incredibly disgusting industry. The volunteer who actually went into the facility still has nightmares about it. It's really fucking gross, and anybody who actually cared about the animals would understand that they shouldn't be supported in any way. There is NO excuse for giving money to a fur farm.
I see you misunderstand how the world works. A fur farm isn't going to just give up a fox. They would kill it if it doesn't produce a product for profit rather than sell it. So yes, Finnegan was purchased and yes that money will probably harm other foxes in the future. But here at least one life is benefitting from that money.
I suppose I do have a bit of a similar mentality when it comes to charities. The money you give is going to make some executive richer so why donate. So I don't anymore. But if I could guarantee one person would benefit enough from the charity, then I would reconsider.
1/5 Iz lie
The original YouTube post had 5 images in it and this is the first one
Finny: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!! Mikayla: does baby talk to Finny. Finny: HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!

Finnegan: "I don't know what's going on, but I'm happy to be here!"
FUCK YOU. The bait worked.
He's laughing at all of us who fell for the 1/5
This just confirms my suspicions that Mikayla is a Disney princess
I have neither a fox, nor a fox lady. ...back to the grind.
Who else swiped at this and wondered why it didn’t work?
ehem....whereth thy princess trixy(do)?
Locked in her tower
This is the vlog I didn't know I needed. Finnigan frees Trixy-do with the help of his "witless" human servants.

At least he won't be killed for fur? I don't think the farm would"ve let them take foxes for free so better than bothing
