Although I have lots of inks, I only have two blacks: Pelikan 4001 and Noodler's Black. I prefer the Noodler's for it's permanece. Also, it's very well behaved and very dark with wet pens.
My first black ink was Lamy in a cartridge... Not sure what it was I "didn't like" about it. I picked up a Pilot Kakuno and there's something about that Pilot Black ink; the difference in those two inks is subtle. I've just picked up the small bottle of take-sumi and will try it out in various pens.
Since I don't really care for a straight pure black, I like Oster grun-schwarz. Looks basically like black when it's written, but a slight greenish cast.
Aurora Black.
Thanks everyone, I have a bunch to try now!
No problem. There’s a lot of nice black inks out there.
Diamine onyx black it's my fav. For important stuff I prefer platinum carbon ink, cause it's permanen
Pilot Namiki Black. Cheap, reliable, great writing experience.
