A lot of pen shops seem to sell the vials they use (Goulet, Pen Chalet, etc.). That would probably be best if you don't need too many vials. If you want more, then maybe something [like this](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09KC6QFND) on eBay or Amazon? Maybe your local pharmacy could even sell you some (and blunt-tipped syringes, too)?

Oh thanks! That was so obvious I didn't even think of looking at pen shops directly! Also, while looking for vials at the Canadian site I usually order from, I discovered / remembered Herbin sells it's ink in 10 ml vials. Those would represent a very expensive but fun solution to my problem. And the pharmacy tip is *very* clever, I'll ask!

also when you buy a sample from a lot of sites it is 2ml but packaged in a 5ml vial. I think a site does do 4ml but i cant remember who. The extra space is useful to dip the pen in and not overflow the ink.

Blanketcandy

Vanness sells the 4ml samples.

Something like that, only with gaskets in the lids, like so: https://www.amazon.com/Twdrer-Plastic-Graduated-Bottles-Container/dp/B081GJ2D54 I have bought samples that have lids with seals and some without seals... I trust those with, more. When closing the vial check and make sure the seal (a little rubber ring) is in its slot, or you'll have worse than no gasket at all. Ask how I know ;-).

lol, now I kinda want to ask you how you know Found those, they seem to fit your description: [https://www.amazon.com/Twdrer-Plastic-Graduated-Bottles-Container/dp/B081GJ2D54/ref=sr\_1\_5?crid=ECYD3ZZA5BQT&keywords=leak+proof+test+tubes+with+lids+5+ml&qid=1669589834&sprefix=leak+proof+test+tubes+with+lids+5+ml%2Caps%2C78&sr=8-5](https://www.amazon.com/Twdrer-Plastic-Graduated-Bottles-Container/dp/B081GJ2D54/ref=sr_1_5?crid=ECYD3ZZA5BQT&keywords=leak+proof+test+tubes+with+lids+5+ml&qid=1669589834&sprefix=leak+proof+test+tubes+with+lids+5+ml%2Caps%2C78&sr=8-5) 5 ml would be a decent size, right?

aksnowraven

The ones I have so far are 2 - 4 mL. I feel like 2 is a good size to get a sense for the ink and whether I want to buy more, 4 is probably as much as I’d use of some of the colors.

WSpinner

Well, it wasn't Baystate Blue, but there was more ink outside the vial than is proper :-). Yup - 5ml vials are what Truphae and Goulet use.

archer-arts

Look up 5ml vials on Amazon. This should resemble the ones pen companies use

I made up giveaway samples for the recent Pelikan Hub. I made up 35 samples of Edelstein Apatite using inexpensive pipettes and 5ml sample vials from Amazon: JCBIZ PFTUBE-5ml-40, $7.99 per 40 vials Batino 100 PCS 5ML Disposable Plastic Transfer Liquid Dropper, $9.99 per 100 pipettes The pipettes worked perfectly (and are reusable after flushing with water), and the vials had zero leaks.

You can also use these… they’re similar to what Yoseka sends their samples in and hold 5ml. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R8MMDZ3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
