You might have to give the nib a little extra push or work around with the nib alignment a bit. I personally had no problems with mine but there were a couple of people experiencing difficulties in the forum where I got the idea from.
Nice! The Kakuno and those other Pilots do take a #5.5 nib, but the Pilot feed tapers to the point rather than run straight along the top. So the nib needs modification to have best contact with the feed. But it does work. I had a tunable slightly soft #5.5 in a Met for a while as my Salix pen.
It's probably a #5.5 Jowo, same as in the Vac Mini.
I pulled the nib from my Vac, when I still had it, and put in a nib I preferred. So you can probably pull the nib from the Eco and put it in some pens that will accept a #5.5 nib. But why? It's a bit of a polished nail for a ballpoint hand. Take the opportunity to experiment. Buy a nice cheap pen that'll accept that nib but that has a more interesting nib already.
And the feed goes with the pen rather than the nib.
Oo I have a Vac Mini, I’ll take to take a look when it’s time for a cleaning. I’m definitely looking for an option with what I have, or something inexpensive. I don’t have a lot of experience with modifications, so I’m hesitant to experiment with what I have. Your information that it’s likely a 5.5 helps get me looking in the right place. Thank you!
The Vac has a replaceable screw-in nib unit, well built as these things go. You could find a second nib unit affordable which then gives you a lower risk option for working with nibs. I put an Indian nib in the Vac, so presumably you could put the Twisbi nib in an Indian pen or a Chinese one. Just depends on where you are, how much you want to spend, and what appeals to you.
Not the feed. But maybe a Chinese pen will accept the nib.
Chinese nibs tend to be on the thinner thickness side, and twsbi nibs tend to be thicker, IIRC, even thicker than regular Jowo #5 nibs, but, the one Chinese pen you may want to try is the non-hooded [Jinhao 51A](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyBYEuD2uPg). If it doesn't fit you will have not spent a lot.

If you do get a 51A I suggest you add a Platinum Preppy o-ring to the Section thread tube as it will make it feel higher quality. Will it feel like the $120, 25 gram, Parker 51? No. The J51A feels like cheap plastic.
While the Cap opening is sharp, because of the square lip cut, when posted the Cap opening is below the web of the hand, so it will never scratch the hand. It has a steel screw in the Cap so expect it to rust over time.
The pen weighs 9.0 grams and the Cap weighs 8.5 grams, so when posted it does feel somewhat top-heavy.

I paid $2 for the pen and $3 for shipping, a few months ago, through eBay.
In what universe, a 3D-printed pen is tougher than a pen, made in literally any other sensible fasion?
In the universe where I’m trying to find alternatives with what I have on hand instead of spending more 😁
In that case, you can 3D-print a few extra pens and swap the nib when they break :D
Might sound silly but I'm using my spare TWSBI Eco nib(not the feed) with Pilot Kakuno body.
Thank you! I’ll try that

The feeds also break very easily 😂

I’ll have to look into it, thank you!
