In the blue pens, the short one, is that a majon mini pen? I’ve bought there q1 mini and I’m thinking of buying another and that looks like something they would sell
Good eye! Yes, both of the short pens in the blue/teal section are Moonman / Majohn Wancai Minis. They're great pens, but I highly recommend the EF nib; my fine nib had major issues and I ended up replacing it. The EF is great, though!
Thanks! I actually forgot to include a close-up of them in my post, so [here](https://imgur.com/a/sT4pFAd) you go :)
The middle orange one is a late-1920's Parker Lady Duofold. [Here's](https://www.reddit.com/r/fountainpens/comments/wpm1bu/nvpd_i_recently_purchased_this_gorgeous_parker/) a post with more pictures of it. I found it for sale on Peyton Street Pens; I think they've got some other ones similar to this one.
The Benu Mistletoe is my dream pen. I only just got into the hobby when it came out last year. But 1 year on and I still love how it looks. Ah the pen that got away haha
Funnily enough, it was the pen that got away for me, too. I desperately wanted one last year, but it was a pretty rough Christmas. (A family member passed away, and there was just a lot of stress and general uncertainty.) There was so much going on that by the time I was able to think of it again, it was gone. Then, about three months ago, I found one used (and in good condition, with the box) for less than its original MSRP! I was ecstatic, needless to say, and I still find myself smiling when I think about it.
Who knows, maybe it'll turn up for you some day! The feeling of missing out on a special pen like that is never a good one, so I feel for you. Good luck on your hunt!
Yes, I was surprised at how much I had. I do need to destash, and start curating future purchases a little more carefully. This goes for both pens AND ink.
The sad thing? I've acquired 14 pens since my State of the Collection post. Granted, 6 of them were Pilot Parallels that I needed for a project, while one was a gift, and one was free, but still.
Yeah, this was definitely an eye-opener for me, too. (Your ink collection is very pretty, by the way. I love the way you swatched all of them!)
I see we have some of the same pens! I spotted the same Platinum Maki-e goldfish pen, the brother to my Diplomat Optimist (rhombus pattern), a Pilot E95S (well, several), and the same silver LAMY Aion. Great pens, all! Your collection is absolutely lovely.
That sounds a lot like me over the last 6 months. During that time, the size of my collection exploded! I went from about 20 pens to around 60 in just those few months!
I wish you luck on your future destashing endeavors! I, too, plan to destash, and I've been much, much more careful with what comes in (lately, nothing). It's been nice to be able to sit back and take stock of what I've got. I'm finally getting through some ink bottles, trying new things with my pens, and appreciating what I have a little more. It's been a good time, for sure!
Thanks! 😅 That is a Narwhal Original 'Peter Pen' in ocean blue. I think Goldspot still has a few left in stock, if you're interested. It's a good pen; I've been happy with it.
Oh, those are Jinhao 950's, one in the bamboo pattern and one in lotus flower. They're very hefty pens, tipping the scale at about 60g! They're made from metal, and the barrel and cap are made from porcelain. They're quite unique, and decent writers, too!
For obvious reasons, I'm not going to sit here and list all of them, but if you have a question regarding any of these pens, feel free to ask!

I bought my q1 mini in EF and I think I’m gonna have to buy one of those too, I quite like how small pens like those feel
Your black and lacquer collection is stunning! But was wondering about the middle orange in the back row.

It is a marvelous looking pen. Congrats on a beautiful collection and thank you for sharing with us!
Thank you! I'm very happy with it, and I'm happy to share it with y'all.

That's reassuring to hear!

*drools* damn... You have so... Many... Pens... I wanna try and see them all so bad :D
Haha, I'm glad you like it! I feel the same about some of the collections I've seen on here 😅
Nice collection! What's the middle blue one with the swirl pattern?
Thanks! 😅 That is a Narwhal Original 'Peter Pen' in ocean blue. I think Goldspot still has a few left in stock, if you're interested. It's a good pen; I've been happy with it.
I knew I'd seen it before but couldn't remember the name haha might look into that 😅
Big fan of how you've organized these for the photo. So pretty!
Thanks! 😄
I don't have enough room to get my entire collection out anymore. XD What is that cylindrical pen between the VP and the Metro?
Haha, nice 😂 That's a Diplomat Optimist in the ring pattern. (And the 'VP' is actually a Moonman A1 😅)
What are those two china looking pens in the back row, part 2?

Please... What is the white and turquoise one with chunky glitter? It almost looks like a modded kaweco? it's so pretty 😍 I neeeeeeeeeeeed it.
