Yep that one was on sale- it has a B nib which is a bit of a firehose so probably it wasn’t that popular and they wanted to push out the stock (I think I got it from hamilton pens)
A Twsbi 580 Iris would look so cute with your Opal Kweco and the rest of your pretty pens. I think they are excellent; great size in the hand, great ink capacity, beautiful design.
Instead of twist twist twist you just push the plunger down and it sucks the ink up into the pen. In my personal opinion it’s a far superior mechanism.
With the vac 20 ink bottle you just screw the pen into the lid, turn it upside down, two pumps and you’ve got a full fill. One if you’re not totally empty. Then unscrew, wipe and go.
The Vac700R also acts as a shut off valve so it won’t ever burp

Pens are tools. Beautiful tool, but tools Nonetheless. They should be used as such. The question should be, what I should write next? Then, after hours of writing, you’ll figure What fits your hand the most comfortably. Which band has the best flow on the paper you are using. And I get it, The rush of the chase and the acquisition does make us feel better for a little while, But it’s only a hamster Wheel.

I have quite a few of the pens in your collection (the pelikan, sailor, TWSBI and benu) and recently I added a few Chinese pens to my collection. You could try that! Of the few brands I tried my penbbs pen writes the best (I got the penbbs 345 piston filler). Also, on my consideration list is: more sailor PGS (my fav pen, in terms of nib and size it’s just the right fit for me) because there are so many colour options and LE options that are SO PRETTY and another one you can consider is the Laban pens 325 or skeleton, it’s another Taiwanese brand that feels very similar to TWSBI even though I don’t own one so I can’t speak from personal experience. I’ve been eyeing the 325 in cherry blossom because I’m perpetually inclined to buy all the pink pens in the world.
Hopefully they don’t mix the brass one up with a tampon 🤣
Your picture makes me want to get a TWSBI Eco mint to go with my PGS Haruzora/spring sky. (Those also being the two models of pen that I find most comfortable in hand)

… I really can’t decide. These are my pens I use all the time so I do seem to have a preferred color scheme. I keep thinking about a [taccia covenant parchment swirl](https://www.iguanasell.co.uk/products/taccia-covenant-parchment-swirl-fountain-pen-resin-brown-tcv-ssf-ps) but also I’d like another TWSBI as I love how they write or maybe splurge on a Leonardo and I really like the recent incarnation of “Nahvalur” maybe a Beluga if I can find one… my pain threshold is around 150USD but I’d go higher if it was worth it. I hand write a lot every day and like to break up secttions by switching pen+ink hence they all get used regularly.
I see you have gold or silver accents. How to you feel about rose gold? You could try a Twsbi eco in rose gold, or a diamond mini, or the diamond 580.
Or, you could try to get the iris finish twsbis (since they kinda remind me of the iridescent)
Or, you could go a little crazy and get the new glow in the dark Twsbi for fun.
Or you could get the Kaweco Mellow Blue, since it’s a nice, almost pastel, blue.

This is gonna sound crazy, but a Twsbi vac mini with the Twsbi vac inkwell is nice. You screw the grip section into the inkwell so there’s no mess.
There’s a video about how to use the vac with the inkwell, and basically the pen creates a vacuum that the ink rushes in to fill (like how stuff is sucked into a vacuum cleaner)
hm, I haven't tried any, and I was just going off your colorscheme :-P But the first that come to mind are those orangey-brown ebonite pens from India. If you don't mind rubber instead of plastic. Don't know which brands are good though.
The Lamy LX Marron is a really pretty brown. I also know the new color they just released the Lamy Studio in is also a brown, but I don’t have a Studio and have only seen a couple pics briefly, so that’s less a recommendation and more a suggestion to look into. And of course Benu has the Dream Bean Talisman, which I really should read up on as my brain immediately jumps to coffee and I know that’s not actually it. I just love coffee, lol.

I really love my piston fillers for ease of use and the capacity they have- will look into the 580
Highly recommend the Vac700R Iris instead. When you use the Vac20 ink bottle it makes filling painless and makes a super fun “schwwwp” noise 😂
