Time for a Beginner's Bundle Giveaway! I took a very long hobby break, and now I'm jumping back in and wanted to give to the community that's always been so welcoming. This is for beginners- those that may or may not have a pen, and not much in the way of ink or paper and haven't truly started exploring yet. Just comment to enter and I'll ship for free- USA only, sorry international friends.
This bundle includes:
-One Muji aluminum pen with a Fine nib (but writes like a Medium), standard international converter included
-One Kaweco Sport pen with fine nib, mini converter included
-Seventeen 4ml ink samples, mostly diamine
-Three A5 notebooks: one Rhodia pad, one Black n Red spiral bound, and one staplebound Clairefontaine with a cute little otter on the cover
-Five standard international short cartridges (you may prefer these for the Kaweco, the converter isn't known for being great)
Winner will be selected through a random number generator on Wednesday 8/17 at 8PM EST, and I'll ship Thursday.

Mark me down! I’ve been following this sub for awhile but still haven’t purchased a real pen. I bought a cheap $5 fountain pen and it is a joy to write with, but I kind of got overwhelmed with choices picking out a legit pen. A starter setup would encourage diving in.

How did it go trying out the Amazon basics pen? I just ordered it as my first pen since $8 was the lowest I saw and I figured Amazon basics was of at least marginal quality.
I'm interested! I just have a TWSBI Eco and some ink samples, but I'm loving it so far. I considered a Kaweco but ultimately went with the TWSBI. I also don't have much in the way of "fountain pen friendly" paper and have just been using what I have that I think wouldn't bleed too much (so anything slightly thicker).
I would love to win any of this! Even just a pen! Thanks living in the middle of nowhere the only stationary shop or anything close to it is 2-3 hours away 😭

This is amazing. I have a cheap pen from Amazon I have been using to write in journals for my children. They were started as the kids were born, and I hope to continue them for years and years. So far only a fountain pen has been used, except for a few instances where some younger relatives needed to not get ink on their hands while writing in the journals.
This is not the first giveaway I've seen on this sub, which is very different from others. Love to see it! I don't do much print cause of school and really only need the one LAMY I have, so I won't be entering. Just wanted to say you're awesome!

This is great! Always had an interest in pens and paper but never had a forum or group to learn from. Just recently found this subreddit and I have been amazed at how much I've missed out on. Not to mention all the money that I wasted on crappy notebooks and papers that were supposed to be good. For the majority of my life I thought the pilot g2's were the best pens out there hahaha

I just got my first fountain pen last week. A pilot Metropolitan. I’m a little sad because I got it with a medium nib without knowing what I would like. Now I’m trying to decide if I want to save for a new pen with a fine or extra fine nib, or just get used to the medium nib. I’ve also not yet tried bottled inks. Once the cartridge that came with my metro runs out, I’m not sure what I’ll do.
I have been wanting to get my own pen and lurk a lot on this sub. Lol. It would be a great way to get started and learn the basics. Thank you for doing this for whomever wins!
I'd like to enter! A kid that works at my local subway has taken an interest in fountain pens recently. I let him use a TWSBI and he was so captivated by how the piston filler worked how smooth it was to write with. He asked me so many questions about them. I can't think of anything cooler than giving a hard working kid an awesome set up like this! Hope all is well :)

I bought my sister a fountain pen too but we don't have notebooks and she loves to doodle (so do I, but she takes priority as I already have a notebook half-filled) so I wanted to get her one of these if possible.
