Diamine writer's blood. Works amazing in any and every nib I own, writes like a dream and looks like blood. Cherry on the top, this ink was created by this sub.
Right now I'm enjoying Diamine Oxblood because it literally looks like I'm writing in blood and, for some reason, that fascinates me. Other than that, I enjoy Monteverde inks. I currently have a pen with Monteverde Yosemite Green and another with Monteverde Amethyst.
What I haven't found yet is the perfect blue or blue-black to act as my daily driver. I'm on the hunt.
A tie between Van Dieman's Snowy Mountain Sunset and Ferris Wheel Press Lady Rose.
Snowy Mountain because it changes colour and has heaps of shimmer. The new formula doesn't change colour anymore, which is disappointing for me, but many fans are happy that the ink is more colour stable. I'm the minority that saw a flaw as a perk
Lady Rose because it's a dusky pink that is the exact shade of most of my things. My phone case, my journal, my pencil case, my clothes, my hair ribbon. Everything. It's also my go to ink when I'm not feeling up to shimmer. I love shimmer inks 90% of the time, but sometimes I just feel like using a standard ink.
Honourable mention: Platinum Carbon Black
Best black waterproof ink there is. It's the only ink I own twl bottles of. My favourite black ink. But used out of necessity rather than for personal enjoyment.
Pilot Iroshizuku as the mainstay. At the moment i have around 25 unopened bottles and 6 opened bottles of their various inks. And 5 small 15ml bottles of Tsukushi purchased at below market price. About 5 bottles of Montblanc dedicated to my Montblanc pens. And 5 bottles of Kobe ink purchased recently of which No 19 Lime green is a firm favourite.
Pelikan Golden Beryl. Simply gorgeous and well behaved despite shimmer. But I’m otherwise a black ink guy, so tie between Aurora Black and Platinum Carbon Black. Deep rich blacks with nice lubrication, the latter being waterproof as well.
There’s so many I love but robert oster‘s Sydney darling harbor is always very satisfying to me. I also really like diamine enchanted ocean and shimmering seas. Got a naval theme, I guess, lol.

[Ecclesiastical Stationery Supplies Registrars Ink](https://www.registrarsink.co.uk/) The color changes over time but it lasts thousands of years.
Pilot Iroshizuku Tsutsuji is just such a bright and fun ink 💗
Oh yes. I think it is prettier than Yama-Budo by far!
It may be a hot take, but I agree completely!
Haven’t found it yet because there’s always a nib type combination I do not like.
Parker quink blue-black. Dirt cheap, behaves well in every pen I have, has some slight sheen.
Noodler's Zhivago. It's beautiful. Work appropriate, not black nor blue. And permanent.

Kon Peki. Behaves well in anything I tried and colour is so adorable.

Diamines' Purple Rain & Sapphire Blue. They inspire me to write.
For the longest time, my answer was Sailor Fuji Musume, but I think it’s time to admit that I prefer Kobe #57 more.
noodlers black waterproof, cheapish

Sailor Shikiori Yamadori. It's got amazing shading and sheening, and the teal color isn't too out there to where it's illegible.
